i find the *real* perfect pushup, if you are a complete tank already, is to lay on your back, put both hands above your head - then push off only w your pinky. one pinky; doesnt matter which one. but it is important to switch pinky's every hr to avoid injury. gr8 vid. JC

Brad, try the carnivore diet for a couple months. And you’ll see how most of your aches and pains are from foods, not aging!! This change in eating has amazingly changed my life! Including my ever present “Impending Doom” that I’ve felt forever! ❤️❤️❤️
In my opinion from injury and got me better is that you’re supposed to slightly grip the floor with hands/fingers that way your wrist isn’t taking the strain and weight altogether.
I know 2 guys with bad shoulders. 1 was benching 400+ lbs and at age 50 needs shoulder replacements Other guy was doing 100 pushups a day and he needs shoulder replacements.
Thanks for the expert advice. I find when I look for advice that I get routed to older videos. That's cool though because it's all good advice. I have extremely bad knees, no cartilage left (over 40 years in construction and volunteer Fire Fighting), so I check out your stretching and knee strengthening videos. This is a great video. Is Tai Chi good for bad knees? Wish you guys where in Ontario Canada. : )

Honestly, I can imagine getting the belt, hat, and booyah on, throwing my back out, needing to call an ambulance, and ending up on TikTok. Question: Am I overthinking this? (Love the channel, guys!) 😉👍
I hope Bob is okay! He seemed to be talking with difficulty and a slur. He was also not as animated as usual, and just sat staring straight ahead from about 1:26 to about 2:38, while Brad was talking; not a normal thing for their interactions. Happily, he does improve as the video goes along, so maybe it was just a down day for him. We all have them.
@@taintmueslix I was just concerned about him. I have occasional days of brain fog or fatigue due to lack of sleep or something I ate. Hopefully that's all it was.
Looks like a great piece of home gym equipment . But, getting out of your house and joining a gym and being part of society is more important. We are social animals we need need to be around other people. Not locked at home by the government.
Technique & effort are more important than reps! 💪

I have cysts on both wrists so I can’t put my hands on the floor or on the dumbbells. I use my fists and it works so much better for me.
Have you tried inclined push-ups? It might help.
