if WG ever decides to be nice to the players, one of the changes they could make is to let you play 10-20 games in a new ship (or after skill re-works) and be able to demount equipment for free to see what really works best for the ship and your play style.
Vermont full secondary build is the worst thing to try. I've tried this before, the full secondary build will only give you max reload at 4s and max range at 11km, with bad secondary accuracy. Beside, it's only have 8 × 2 127mm guns, less than the other US BB have. It'll only get lower DPM and bad secondary accuracy compared to Ohio and Rhode Island. Vermont is best at full main gun build or full AA build
mine was devastating strike a 100%hp ohio 96k3 hp (6 citadel hits), the second was 73k + to a satsuma (4 citadels hits). Those 457mm * 12 guns are truely something different.
PQ, mind taking a look at the Blysk? I want to know how you feel about this dd in 2023, I heard from many ppl that its in depserate need of a buff due to the power creep.
I'd like to mention that with Vermont, ESPECIALLY with heavy AP skill, you should almost never use HE on destroyers. You'll ALWAYS do more damage with the AP overpens and the only time HE matters is if you might break torp tubes. On destroyers around 12k hp and lower, never use the HE.
Man Vermont is that one punch man ship. Even if it fails to one strike sink a ship. A good hit Leaves A NASTY MARK! I was in black. Was detected by a Carrier whale. And Vermont aimmed and hit me hard. All 12 salvos hit me! Leaving 18k damage all in overpens. I was like "Jesus @#$&! Vermont. You almost swiss cheesed me to death! Just how many hits was that?!" And he said. "All 12 bullets had connected!" My gravely damaged black looks like it was hardcore swiss cheesed! Imagine you get a metal for taking 40 percent hp damage all overpens! Metal rewarded: Swiss cheese ship.
So I haven't played with the new skills. So this improved readiness does that mean I am playing yamamoto on yamato. He has 5 heals gets first kill he now has 6 heals hits 2 million potential which in that is low gets a 7th heal hits kraken and gets an 8th heal. That has got to be a war crime.
A longer Vermont with 30knot speed and 35 seconds reload with an alternative firing mode which make you shoot 2 salvos consecutively but you have to wait 70 second to reload. (378k potential AP damage lol)
i love my brik. brik smash gud. since the buffs i've enjoyed minnesota a fair bit, kinda like a mini brik, but nothing beats the real deal. edit: i had that 'weird cheek citadel' thing happen to me last night in cbs with Kremlin. every time it happened i just laugh once, shrug, and keep going.
Love your videos mate. Unfortunately for some reason, youtube has stopped pushing them to my front feed page even if I'm subscribed to you, and if I don't remember to look up your channel - I miss a lot.
I usually swap out concealment for furious. In the majority of games, you’re going to be air spotted or DD spotted and your optimum range is still out past your detection threshold so you can still go dark without it if those aren’t happening. Fire prevention is pretty necessary even on a dpm build just to avoid 4 fires. The current meta actually makes the concealment skill pretty useless in my experience. Better to have the tanking and dpm skills instead.
Really not seeing the point of Furious in these games, you are not firing on reload and you make a point of talking about how you often hold your shots in this ship so having a faster reload when on fire doesn't appear to do much for you.
In order to do a proper evaluation of the question, understanding how good the player is at aiming. The better at aiming, the more dispersion buffs will help. Conversely someone who is “bad” at aiming, could benefit from the additional rounds more than the accuracy.
I have bought it and sold it several times. I have never experienced such a boring ship. 40s reload is really crazy despite how slow it is. I'd rather play with superships and take a Jean bart that has a reload of 23 seconds and a reload booster...

That’d be cool
Could you do a Vermont full secondary build?
imagine how much PQ would hate this. he'd completely lose his mind.
we have to make him do it.
@@paullagarde7388 couldn't be worse, than full secondary Yamato, right? Right?! ;)
My mate and i (both of us in tone) run Yesterday in a full secondary build Montana. My Mate died a slow and painfull death. Until my torp took Revenge
Vermont secondaries are made of paper though at least Montana turrets are 65 mm

I learned to love the brick BBs, so much in fact, that this will be the line I reset over and over.
Vermont is still the ship i got my highest dmg salvo ever. 88k and it was against another Vermont never forget how good that felt.

Nice, mine was 75k to an Iwami. I did not expect it.
Vermont has turned into my favorite American BB, even more so or very close to Ohio from the new skills and several rebuild attempts so far.
The big advantage over Ohio is the ASW. With subs everywhere the difference is huge.
@@EllieBanks333 Absolutely, I think I like the dispersion better on Vermont still yet too, not by much if I were using a grading scale.

Cunningham gets an extra consumable on the 2nd kill, so that's also an option, again, on something like Conqueror, that'd be a war crime as well?
I'm scared what the USA super ship will be when Vermont exists at tier X
24 inch heavy AP! lol
16 457s with maine funny button?
I'm kinda hoping we get something like the Tillman IV-2 with 5x3 457s

How you you get that Vermont camo?
Love your videos mate. Unfortunately for some reason, youtube has stopped pushing them to my front feed page even if I'm subscribed to you, and if I don't remember to look up your channel - I miss a lot.
When will that skin become available>? or is it only a KOTS stream reward?
Great Video ! Happy New Year fellow Canadian. I wish you a great 2024 !!!!!
Brick is love. Brick is life. Brick is hysterical with the ram flag. Nobody expects it
Thanks for so much content PQ!
I've got to finally pick this one up. Thankfully, I'm almost done with my 3rd Monty grind so I only have 3 ships to chew through.
Hi, nice video. How do I get this pretty camo?
good old days where u can punish DDs who tries to point blank torp you.

When you accidentally spot yourself in a PQ video....(i was the petro in the first game)
As a BB player I am ALWAYS on fire furious is an awesome skill....

You could get it by watching KotS Streams:)
It's from the last kots. They will eventually relaunch it for community tokens. 10k plus (if you missed it)
Request!: try World of warships legends for a comparison to Pc version
he already plays it
I still die in a satsuma even tho I'm able to use the sixth heal 7 that's super rare
I'm good with my Ohio.
Faster reload, better speed, good secondaries.
Need for speed and gun loading
Really not seeing the point of Furious in these games, you are not firing on reload and you make a point of talking about how you often hold your shots in this ship so having a faster reload when on fire doesn't appear to do much for you.
Ship Request: Yamato Legendary Mod. Is it as viable as Vermont or Ohio and is sacrificing reload worth the extra dispersion?
In order to do a proper evaluation of the question, understanding how good the player is at aiming. The better at aiming, the more dispersion buffs will help. Conversely someone who is “bad” at aiming, could benefit from the additional rounds more than the accuracy.
I have it but I doubt that I'll use it all that much. 44 seconds? Forget it......
Can't hold a candle to the Ohio
