As much as I love watching Godzilla and Ghidorah duke it out, a flashback scene of Shimo and Ghidorah clashing might me make bust a nut in the theater. Not only would it be visually amazing, it would also further showcase just how much of a threat Ghidorah was if the Founding Titan(get it?) had to confront him.

According to Wiki he's apprx 250,000,000 years old , and Kong is less than 1000 years old. Kong *_still_* isn't near 100% yet , his gray hair is a sign of adolescents in gorillas, so he's basically a teenager with almost no experience YET squared up on Godzilla *_then_* trashed the dude (mecha) that was trashing Godzilla !! Godzilla is 0-3 vs mecha yet Kong absolutely destroyed him. It *_does_* make sense like paper>rock>scissors every Titan is different. And in this one Shimo will beat Kong only for Godzilla to beat Shimo. Kong>Mecha>Godzilla>Shimo>Kong>Mecha it just goes in circles. If Kong beats mecha but mecha beats godzilla then Godzilla beats Shimo you'd think Kong must be #1 and Shimo #4 ? But Shimo and Godzilla can beat Kong so maybe they should be #1 ? But mecha destroyed Kong and would destroy Shimo too (mecha is made of a space alloy that doesn't freeze). I personally think Kong will assert himself and prove he's on their level that glove changes things drastically making him much stronger as electricity gives Kong power. Notice in commercials you see Kong punch *_the ground_* TWICE and Thunder comes out of glove ? I'm guessing he can probably "charge" entire areas where just walking on the ground will get you electrocuted ?

You seem to forget that mecha was quite literally designed to be a godzilla killer so its only natural that godzilla would have trouble facing it off, you cant expect to win against an opponent that has a counter to all your aces and not only that but takes everything you have and improves on it and even then kong nearly got killed more than once in his short intermission against mecha just like godzilla.
Another reason for Kong squaring up againat godzilla is solely because of plot armour. In any logical situation kong would never be able to beat Godzilla, godzilla is literally a gigantic self regenerative, walking tank like radioactive nuke. Kong is just a big monkey with relative intelligence. Even after getting his axe(he needs weapons to keep up and even then it had to be an ass pull where he just randomly finds an axe made out of a dorsal fin from Godzilla. Not only did his species have an ancient rivalry with skull crawlers but for whatever reason they had one with Godzilla's ancestors too? Ass pull on a silver platter just to give kong a fighting chance through and through) he still had trouble fighting Godzilla.
I like how you talk about squaring up on gz then mecha like it was stroll in the park when thats not how it happened. He fought godzilla, won round 1 with relative trouble, godzilla got back up and went after kong then handed his ass to him leaving Kong damn near dead then GODZILLA went to take on mecha(lets not forget that this was after Godzilla swam across the planet just tobget to japan, proceeded to blast a whole through the planet to kong then proceeded to fight 2 matches against kong and then proceed to fight against something that was a hard counter to him so GZ was already not at full strength after all that meanwhile kong was strolling and enjoying ghe sights in that world below) and then Kong woke up from the nap that GZ put him in amd helped GZ fight mecha, he did not trash mecha and he did not trash GZ either. Dont get your stories mixed up cause it's just making you look biased, what you're saying is currying in favour for Kong while leaving out the full details of how it all went down in favour of Kong.
And lets not forget that in multiple encounters in the movie Kong was the one getting his ass beat by Godzilla. Yes he had a one up on Godzilla when he came with yhe axe which threw Godzilla off guard but the moment Godzilla got back up and knew about the axe he proceeded to trash Godzilla, biting him and essentially throwing him around the city with jaw strength alone. Then left him in critical condition which required kong needing life support(the bomb blowing up on his chest)not only to get back in action but to avoid dying as well. If not for Godzilla being merciful he literally could've killed kong there and then by simply squashing his chest.

I imagine one of Skar King’s spies reported to him that an impending threat was on its way to the Hollow Earth so Skar King sent Shimo to guard the Hollow Earth entrance in Antartica. Godzilla arrived there by possibly coincidence and defeated Ghidorah by pushing him into a ditch, leaving him weakened, until Shimo arrives a bit later to freeze Ghidorah.

I cannot see how Ghidora could or would have been able to survive in battle against multiple Gojira’s and Kong’s on his own in battle. My theory is Ghidora arrived on the planet, was able to gain control of other lesser Titans as the new Alpha Titan. Gojira’s and Kong’s didn’t fall under his control as we saw in KOTM. The Gojira’s and Kong’s banded together to fight Ghidora and his new Titan army. Shimo is part of the battle and is the one that subdued Ghidora brining an end to his control over other Titans as such bringing an end to the war.

No it wasnt scylla because:
1: scylla can't freeze fast it takes much much time to freeze a titan like ghidorah for him
2: look at ghidorahs pose it clearly that he was frozzen fast otherwise his Pose would be different
3: scylla cant freeze fast enough to freeze a titan that big that fast while shimo could be scince his breath even started the ice age a beam that cold and strong has to be able of freezing fast its much more logical that shimo frohe him

What if freezing Ghidorah is what caused the first ice age? And the war and conflicts between the Titans started before Ghidorah's arrival. The war could've been at its peak when Ghidorah arrived. When Godzilla might be the only remaining of its species. The Titans set aside their war because of this new enemy that threatened all of their existence and banded together to defeat Ghidorah. And when the ice age started because of their battle with Ghidorah, Godzilla realized that Shimo was also a threat to the balance of nature. That's when their rivalry started and Godzilla was victorious at the end(he could've been helped by the Kongs and other titans like Mothra too) and was treated by the other titans as their king. Then the Titans went into hiding after Godzilla and Shimo's fight because of the ice age, basically hibernating and that's how the war ended.

Shimo had a powerful ability called frostbite blast
Frostbite blast can literally freeze you and after you get frozen to solid you ilk get shattered into tiny pieces by the pressure
So if shimo really froze gidorah would gave been frozen completely and shattered into pieces and dead
But instead gidorah was trapped in a 600 feet glacier
If shimo froze gidorah gidorah would have been shattered into pieces but he is not
So this is what would have happened
We saw the cave painting that in ancient times Godzilla, mothra and rodan teamin up against gidorah to defeat but
At tge same time these three were fightin gidorah
Somewhere on the planet shimo froze the entire planet with his power and so shimo also created powerful storms
So Godzilla, Mothra and rodan took advantage of shimo's freezing the earth and tgey pushed Gidorah inside a storm so gidorah got trapped in ice with the storm
If shimo froze him gidorah would have been shattered into pieces and dead instead of getting stuck inside ice
This is why I think shimo did it indirectly like he froze the planet and created storms and Godzillaz, mothra and rodan teamed up as shown in cave paintings and pushed Gidorah into an ice pit or somethin like ice storm layer
So these three took advantage of shimo's power thats what happened accordin to me

cold water wouldn't freeze a Titan that size instantly, just doesn't make sense. Plus Ghidoraha was frozen as if he was Fighting, Ghidoraha literally looked active while frozen. @@solar-jaymi we saw in the trailer shimos frost breath ability, it froze a lot. So the water had to be REALLY cold, and if ghidorah looked active/ like he was fighting in the water, he wouldn’t be frozen like that, it looked like he was frozen out of nowhere, too fast for him to react.

What I am tired of is hearing "(insert titan name) can't stop this on his own." Followed by "Don't worry, he won't be alone." I don't see anyone else mentioning the lack of originality here.
The other thing that gets me is that the entire plot revolves around gigantic predatory animals, with the exception of the apes. Which have been proven to have a very high intelligence. But as for the rest, they think and act on instinct. How you can write plot after plot revolving around humans somehow getting a team up going is beyond me. It's tiresome at this point. I just want to see mindless monsters duke it out while humanity is caught in the middle of it.

Something that goes along with this theory is that the skar king was the Kong that united with Shimo and the gojiras because we can tell that he is older than Kong himself. This would make sense since we saw Shimo with skar King in the new trailer. Skar king made the weapons and killed the gojira and that is how he got the bone whip that appears to be a gojira spine.and it makes sense that if skar king and shimo were acquaintances shimo would fight with Kong and destroy the axe for skar king.but that's just a theory a film theory.

Novelization says that Shimo indeed froze Ghidorah. Shimo was the Alpha before Godzilla. (*Godzillla probably only became the Alpha when Skar King enslaved Shimo). Kong thought that Shimo was the most powerful monster he has faced. Shimo caused the ice age. Shimo's ice blast can slow atoms.

I think what happend is that The Skar King already knew about Ghidorah and Godzilla rivalry so he decided to use Shimo to actually freeze one in Antarctica, since the director said that Godzilla won against Ghidorah in Antarctica, this may be retconned, since Godzilla cant actually freeze a massive titan in such a shape so fast, it was 100% Shimo who froze Ghidorah cuz no one in the verse can freeze someone this fast, or Shimo pushed Ghidorah into an water pit and froze the water with Ghidorah inside, thats what I can see what really happend.

@@themarvelouswave1948 Shimo almost def froze Ghidorah, so far we haven't really been introduced to another way to freeze a titan like Ghidorah. To your first point, Dangerville made a wonderful video about their theory on that war that said that the Kong's initial discovery of the Hollow Earth led to their first confrontation with Goji's and they only realized the power of the plates until later into the war when they proceeded to turn the tides. I think it was either the Kong's initial discovery of the Hollow Earth Energy that brought them into conflict with the Goji's over control of this energy source(the same one Skar King has control of now?)and maybe the dorsal plates came a little bit later
