BEST Show we've watched in forever. Out loud laughing, a complete understanding of the intricacies of the relationships, and of course, tears. Thank you all! ❤️
but it stopped, didn't it? I have seen all the new episodes and then the end. I would have loved to see at least one full season and not only half season. I guess, something must have happened? I had prolonged my subscription only for this series :-(
The writing on KM is amazing, as is the directing and the acting ... it is the best thing I've ever seen Michael Douglas in, and Paul Reiser and Sarah Baker are hilarious ... I love this show.
I love the show. I will watch it again! The script is phenomenal! Very relatable! Bravo to the writer and casts! I loved Seeing Michael and Kathleen like the Romancing the Stones characters! ❤️❤️❤️
Good writing, good acting, good show! As a senior, it's easy to relate to this series. It keeps me laughing and it's very entertaining to watch a true titan of acting, Michael Douglas do his best work in a humorous role!
A really great show...as one who is hard to amuse, I find myself laughing out loud through each episode...love it...just finished season 4...please make more!
Season three has come and gone and apparently the end of a great series. It was entertaining and fun and I’m 66 so it was a little reminiscent of a lot of things.
Bill Clinton is to blame. Only Michael Douglas can say that: "When blow jobs seized to be sex, our civilization was over". And yet - Michael had to wait for a Kominsky Method script (also called screenplay) and his current age to say that. Hollywood cannot "fire" him any more. Thanks for all the great acting, Mr. Douglas junior. May you enjoy your life at least as long as your father or as you wish.
This show deserved waaay more seasons. And may I say, Michael Douglas is fine at his age, same charm as always, I can't distinguish Sandy from Michael because he IS Sandy. I wish he didn't age but I am glad the way he is now and I didn't know he could be perfect for a comedy!
That's the first thing I noticed since the first episode, how much he looks like his own father, now more than ever! They both been talented for miles away...
Oh my gosh I did not know that was Paul Reiser! I've been watching since the first season and I would never have guessed. I had seen his name on the credits but I thought it was another actor named Paul Reiser,, how funny!
I didn't realise it until the second to last episode. I just clicked when he said something and he said it in a very sitcom way, you know how he talks?
@@AnnaMaria-oy1fp Right. I was watching an episode of season 3 last night and I still can't believe it's him. Once in awhile a hear it in his voice but he really loses himself in that character. Anyway, I have one last episode to go. I am going to be so sad when there's no more to watch. What a GREAT series!!!
@@AnnaMaria-oy1fp yes but the whole character is different from what he usually plays. Even his voice sounds a little different. Makes me appreciate him more than I did before.
I loved this show!!! I’m sad that it’s over!!! When I say some of the BEST acting I’m serious! It’s smart, funny, heart warming…everything I loved about TV sitcoms/dramas. It reminded me a lot of All in the Family…bc it dared to be politically INCORRECT lol!!! I loved the way the actors played their characters. What do you expect with Michael, Paul, and Alan…perfection!!!!
Great show i loved the Kominsky Method and i must say 3rd season was the best! Love Michael Douglas as an actor is a pro watching MD alone was just a masterpiece & Kathleen Turner & Paul Reiser added great Flava to the show
This show is fantastic. It’s great to watch great actors act. Well written just unbelievably good. I too miss Alan Arkin. Norman was a great character and the way Norman and Sandy play off each other just shows how incredible these two actors are.
This is absolutely the best series on Netflix for us old farts. Love the cameos of past stars. Really miss Mr. Arkin so much! First two seasons were seriously the funniest LOL series my husband and I have ever watched.
Spoiler alert. Dont read if you haven’t seen the 3rd season. I was disappointed in the third season script. I understand the beloved Norman character being removed from the last season when it was released that the shooting schedule was getting too difficult for him. Alan Arkin as always performed this character with fulfilling his creative delivery. The script writing the first two seasons is the best American made for TV writing that reminds me of the old classics. Outstanding Brilliant. From my viewpoint as a 68 year old I so appreciated our age group being highlighted and I would love to see more stories that remember the lost generation of entering the twilight years with this type of story line, which is we still have a lot to contribute to society and a lot more living to do besides being represented as aged and useless even those in assisted living still contribute. So thank you for this outstanding program that is a classic. I re-imagined the 3 rd season to keep Kathleen Turners role as being without disease. Because of the horrific sadness this pandemic has impacted families with death by disease, death by suicide and deep depression. I chose to re-imagine Kathleen Turners character moving in with Michael Douglas’s character because his character grew up and embraced the truth about the importance of friendship and family and loyalty. I wanted them to have a second chance at navigating a deep respectful friendship. It was hard enough to lose Norman. These great actors drew us the audience in to care about them. Genius creative acting with a stellar script. I also. Would have enjoyed the humor of protective helmet wheel chair mother in law to be dropped off back in Scottsdale by either the son character or Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner characters, giving his daughter character a chance of happiness without a cruel mother in law looming over them. The Emmy dedication would be updated to his reunion of dear friendship with his first ex wife played by Kathleen Turner. The ending finale shot would remain the same. That’s my version of how I have made the third season run in my imagination. This is the best performance I have seen Michael Douglas bring to the screen. I am a great fan of his. I never saw him as being in his fathers shadow. I always recognized his talent and genius acting as an individual separate from the paternal Douglas fame. He earned his chops through his own individual acting creatively and believability. ThisTHIS is his most greatest Gift of Art he has given us. Thank you to the entire cast and crew. It does take a village. Also keep your eye out for Alex Herter in SF. He is an up and coming hard working, solid work ethic talented grip, that will be an asset to any production.
What I really enjoy is that since it is a show about folks in the entertainment industry, you will occasionally see in the background a scene from a movie or tv show, on a tv in someone's house or in a store, with some of the actors in their younger days. And these characters will comment on the actors, which means they are commenting on themselves. Hilarious.
God, I hope this show continues . . . I hope Douglas was not part of the "disappearance of Hollywood stars" that we've all seen since the COVID plandemic began.
1:40 Yes, it was completely different from Lorre’s other shows… there was no overbearing "laugh track". Thank goodness. Try watching either Two and a half men or Big Bang Theory without the laugh tracks…
I watched the 3rd season too quickly and didn't savor it enough because it is the last season. I knew instantly when I heard Paul Reiser's voice who it was and couldn't believe that I couldn't recognize him and that was fantastic. And I didn't recognize Kathleen Turner either but instantly knew her voice. And I didn't know if Jane Seymour's hair really was gray or not and it turns out it was a wig. So I think many people think these actors really look like this now. Like their characters. How in the world did the Alan Arkin character amass so much money? That was a surprise to leave so much money to people. I think it is great and I wish it carried on but the only problem now is that Michael Douglas no longer speaks clearly when he'sbeing interviewed for instance and you sometimes can barely understand what he's saying. Why isn't he clear and enunciating? For me, I don't really care so much for the scenes where he is an acting coach and I prefer the scenes outside of that role. I find the acting coach scenes terribly boring. And I wasn't really thrilled with the anger between the daughter and the father that goes on for the series. I'm not interested in that kind of conflict. And the 3rd season did get a little crazy with the character of the daughter of Alan Arkin and the issues that she had and I didn't really care so much for that in the 3rd season and of course everyone misses Alan so maybe it is good that it has ended since he is no longer an active character.
I loved the first series. Michael Douglas is one of my fav actors. Was looking forward To when the 2nd season landed, but it is so look disappointing. Seems to have completely different writers
I love Paul Reiser, but I think he's miscast in this one. Should've gone with a "real" old guy, without heavy makeup and prosthetics. Bill Murray or Kevin Kline comes to mind.
I cannot stand the 'daughter' character because she's always so pissed about something. Always criticizing her father and her boyfriend. Why get with a man that's the same age as her day then get mad he talks about things from his youth, which she can't relate. UGH she made me sick.
Not sure it’s about aging. More like money, alcohol, weight diversity, and great actors given silly plot lines. I love Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin though so I’m trapped
The best show Chuck has ever written. Such a great cast, glad it's on Netflix where adults can act and talk like adults.
I agree, fabulous writing and an excellent cast. Even though it was only 3 seasons....I'm happy!
Fabulous series ..Awesome
BEST Show we've watched in forever. Out loud laughing, a complete understanding of the intricacies of the relationships, and of course, tears. Thank you all! ❤️
Really, really surprised how much I enjoyed this show-as a 49 year old. I still found it funny, poignant, relatable-and just amazingly well written!
Love the show albeit I miss Alan Arkin.
The irony of this show is one of the best actors ever plays a struggling actor
And that is acting!
@@monkeyzer0 I wish I was paid to do a bad job.
My wife and I are in our late 60's. Really enjoyed this whole series. The humour etc, was aimed at our generation. GREAT. More please.

Love this series - The Kominsky Method!!! the storylines are soooo relevant in this day age (pardon the pun) :) :)
It is one of my favorite shows. High class writing and acting. Thanks
Wasn't sure I would like this show, but, it grows on you pretty quick. Worth watching in my opinion!
Well worth watching. This has been my favorite show since the Mary Tyler Moore show.
I luv this show, Michael Douglas has always been my favourite actor
Y el mio todo , todos sus películas desde las calles de san francisco Hasta su última película, el mejorrrrr

I loved the show. And would love more!! Miss Alan Arken ! Need more Kosinski Method !
We need more shows like this for the mature demographic 😂
One of my absolute favourite shows!! I’m so sad the last season is over. I’ll just have to keep watching them again and again.
Fantastic show. Who knew Mike Douglas was so funny. Alan Arkin was just brilliant. Loved it.

I've only recently finished watching the complete series - it was a brilliant watch - very enjoyable indeed...
