I have to say that I think that this is an absolutely brilliant video for a first timer like myself! I sincerely prefer these videos over the "DIY" experts on youtube that every single tool in the world, just so happens to be in their garage type of videos.Well done. I am MOST DEFINITELY trying this

No bad. An interesting and different way of doing things. Although I do think wood was very flimsy. I'd use, at least, 1/2". But I definitely learned something here and I can add it to my repertoire of knowledge.

Great work man, love the clean look that it gives off like if it came that way from the factory, absolutely brilliant....

Awesome video man, this helped a lot. One thing that I personally think would look even nicer would be a thicker wood, routed out a bevel to flush some plexi and light up the Amp:) I'm a sucker for the plexi/neon though. This is SUPER clean.

Love it Looks clean . Not just an amp hooked up and wires crazy all over the the place in the trunk . Very professional work. Looks as if it was factory that way . A person wouldn't mind having intalled if it would looks like this. I would mine for it to stay in the car this way. Great job!!! .

Thanks for the video. I'm actually working on my amp rack tonight and got the two amps sitting one on top of the other with the top amp angle in a little due to the wheel well. I couldn't figure out how I wanted to mount the rack to the vehicle securely and have it still look clean. I really like your flush style carpeted fabrication. It's also easy to access the wires still when needed to because its mostly pressure fitted. Great idea. My only tif was that you ended up covering the heatsinks with the 2x4's. Anyway, after watching this video, I feel inspired and motivated again after hitting that wall. Thanks brotha

the thumb pic looks really good, i thought the build was going to be that good, turned out to be a flimsy piece of wood... why not 1/2 mdf? and also a solid support behind instead of two small blocks of wood?

Does the Amp fabrication ever fall over when you make a hard turn? I didn't see you mounting it to the body. I know you said tight fit would hold it in but still. Just asking. Let me know

A great video nice job! The flush mount looks great! My 2 amps are mounted on both sides but aren't flush mount I'm installing a 40" x 18" x 15" enclosure duel 12's. The problem is my amps are about 43" apart so if I flush mount them it will look way better and give me about 3" on each side👍
