To: Alfzampi - My father as a boy played drums for your Uncle Phil in the back of Phil's fathers flower show in NYC - they were boys together. My father took me to see/hear Phil play when he was appearing at the old Rony Plaza Hotel on Miami Beach in the 60's I think it was. They spoke of the old days..So happy to hear this cut! Not forgotten by Martin Scorcese though. The OMF recording "Fireworks" appears in the movie "The Aviator".
Games like fallout and bioshock really made me in to Jazz. I was only listening to rock and metal genres before.
I'm sure they are inspired by Erskine Tate's Vendome Orchestra
