One of the most underrated hot-bands of the roaring twenties, King Oliver's savannah or Dixie Syncopators 1926-28. There were some legendary musicians from New Orleans heared,
Kid Ory, Albert Nicholas, Barney Bigard and Paul Barbarin. rec. april/may 1926 Chicago.
    1.Deep Henderson
    2.Jackass Blues
    3.Wa-Wa-Wa

Much later, Lualaba. I think the second tune is Jackass Blues.

The first tune is "Deep Henderson", and the second is indeed "Jackass Blues," with the vocal by. Georgia Taylor. The third is "Wa-Wa-Wa"The line-up is Joe "King" Oliver on cornet, Bob Shaffner trumpet, "Kid" Ory - trombone, Albert Nicholas - clarinet, Billy Paige - clarinet & alto sax, Barney Bigard - clarinet & tenor sax, Luis Russell -piano, "Bud" Scott -banjo,, Bertrium Cobb- tuba & Paul Barbarin- drums, who also provided the vocal break in Deep Henderson. All recorded in Chicago on April 23rd 1926This 12 inch record also has "Farewell Blues", "Every Tub,", ''Show Boat Shuffle", "New Wang Wang Blues", "Sobbin' Blues", Tack Annie", "Willie The Weeper", "Someday.Sweetheart", and "Dead Man Blues".I bought this record in the late 1960s, and despite almost playing it to death, ,It's still one of my favourites..
