When i first strarted fgo in 2017 in my tutorial pull i got herc and deon then i did a story 10 shot and got emiya and artoria. For 3 months i thought this game had great rates

Apparently his NP used to be arts, and the Devs changed it to Buster because he was that much of a looping monster.

I've already got my Emiya to NP5 due to some weird ass RNG luck. But now that just means my Emiya is ready to hit like a truck before the skills start flying. First Gen Protagonist-chan is about to bust some heads wide open.
You know whats funny, NA player here I had him day 1 tutorial pull along with TamaCat. He was my last card and first ever spark I saw. I then got him NP2 a year later (2018)....... I bond 10d him in 2019 Then it wasn't till 2020 I finally started to get copies of him, I finally NP5d him last year. Now for the funny part.... I NP5d TamaCat in 2 years, but bond 10 her in 2020.... I literally have a picture framed of him and it took me like 5 years to NP5 the man. Im still waiting on NP5 Atalanta but she is Bond 10 aswell.

Regend is the best example of one day servant becoming OP imo. He's a 1* who became the second strongest quick ST assassin in the game through getting buffed.

You know Emiya and Lancelot have a lot of Day one similarities; both are 4* AoE Crit Servants who have mismatched deck who didn't have their Crit Steroids Day one. So why has Lancelot never been buffed? He's walking around with some of the worst NP Gen in the game has skill that has protection in its name but is just a watered-down clairvoyance and the servant that made people think he was good was buffed before him, and unlike Emiya's endless rate ups Lancelot's last solo rate up on JP was 2,125 days ago.

Lancelot's buff was being summonable as a Saber.
Remember everyone, you will get a passive skill that gives all of your servants a starting 20% np (if you unlock and rank up the skill) so you can run a default k-scope and be at 100% NP turn 1.

Why are you omitting most of the details?you need np4 or np3+bond6 or np2+bond9 for a single passive from the three(extra card attack up,class specific attack up,np charge starter)because emiya is a permanent 4star.and the np charge starts out as 10% and you upgrade it to 20%.mainly the "all of your servants"

Back when i first started playing i deleted the game a couple times cause i needed space on my phone. Then i got really into it. Every single tutorial summon ive done i always got herc. I didnt even know you could get others i though herc was always your first 4 star. Didnt learn otherwise until a couple years later.

Well you see, Emiya may be jank, but he isn't Gilles jank. He's useable jank. Also he's everyone's hero.
"Jank" feels fitting for Garcher considering his powers, fighting style, and day job.
I always loved EMIYA. He was my starting servant and has only been replaced by Jalter as my go-to damage dealer. I always wished his NP was Arts.

The arts NP buff definitely opens up a lot of teams for him. But I think his biggest flaw is that his only damage buff is also tied to his ability to loop for a turn. So he's not bringing a *single* damage buff of his own for wave 3, which is usually when you want damage the most.
Emiya archer a year one servant with really good buffs, then I look at arjuna archer and get sad because his kit isn't bad I have him at np2 10/10/10 in jp and he's fine considering he's my only 5 star archer but he needs either a rework or an amazing buff
Dude has an 75% battery in JP... with the caveat that its CD is 8 and the NP gain after 25% is over 5 turns of 10% charge
@@abshah8514 yep and the buff is pretty good but the things is the way I see it arjuna's kit is ok, by himself he's not super good but he's not horrible, however try out other archers and you start to see the differences between them and him in which case by himself it just seems like he's missing something(or at least that's the way I see it)
@ my guy, i have almost every archer in the game raised to max level, skills 6/6/6 or higher. You don't need to tell me. The way i see it is, arjuna is built for the long haul, which is something a lot of other archers can't attest to. If you can provide him a guts or invul against NP turns, he can outlast bosses. He's just not as good at killing enemies quick like gil is.

Okay, so I had an idea mid video and i thought I'd share it with you all, cause why not.
So, I know that a lot of people want Rho Aias as a skill for Red man, me included, so I thought of a really cool way to implement it. There's one that's pretty balanced, and one that's pretty busted, but would make EMIYA arguably one of the best low cost servants.
1. 5 instances of invincibility for himself, infinite turn limit, on a 7 turn cooldown. Pretty balanced, not bad.
2. Same 5 instances, Infinite turn limit, etc. However, the new clause of the ability is that when UBW is used, the cooldown resets, and it's for the party.
Edit: to the more broken idea, give it a 30-50% battery.
So Protection from Arrow but even more bullshit. Nice idea but here're a 30% battery instead. - Lasagna

EMIYA 3rd skill buff gets better with time. He's the 🐐 after all. That's all I'm saying.
Emiya is my favorite servant till now. He's now NP 5 because of me rolling for muramasa, having one copy in one of the multi rolls. Now my chef/mom/perpetual sword machine/counter guardian. Now he is much stronger now especially with castoria as a damage buffer makes practically muramasa but archer now.
As someone with a lvl 100 Emiya, I can't wait for this buff.

Humonculus body (similar to Noah (arcade)) or take over and grow Chloe body.
Having an Humonculus body reinforce the gap between him and shirou. He doesn’t consider the 2 of them to be the same person. It also show the gap in magical abilities, unlike Emiya, Shirou od, the mana/od that his circuits can handle and the magical energy than they can produce is low. Homunculus are made to do all this with more profiency than humans.

Ilya = Fate route = kill berserker 6 times and leave him in a state that would take him 3 days to fully heal. Had several chances to kill her yet didn’t.
UBW = berserker vs saber, could snipe her anytime he wanted and Archer vs Shirou fight in the Einzbern castle.
HF = save Ilya and shirou from assassin, and handle carefully Ilya. Tell shirou to protect her and appear when shirou use his arm against berserker to protect Ilya.
Holy grail = Homunculus are made for it and Heroic Spirit Emiya was born.

Territory Creation EX : Mostly use it as a mana tank both in and outside of battles. While unlike the other EX rank he can’t create a Temple or a castle, it always follow him and increases his magecraft.
Its an extention of his reality marble.
Double his Mana rank = A → A+
Trace On: Daemon Vein Burning Armament EX : Magecraft based on Emiya’s Trace On: Circuit Connection EX skill and Artoria Avalon’s. This is due to him being aftect by Avalon, granting him a variation of the Holy Sword Creation skill. When used as an attack, he project 3, 6 or 12 Rhongomyniads and turn them into broken phantasms. Then turn all of them into a single spear of pure magical energy, use the true name as a signal to fire it. Cost more than normal projections but less than than a true name use of Rhongomyniads.
Morgan = Spirit vein because of her origin.
Castoria = Dragon vein because of her ties to Albion and Artoria.
Emiya = Daemon vein because reality marbles are the power of Daemons.
Beast of the Red Plains A+ : Similar to Aptitude for Slaughter skill.
Originaly Fenrir’s God Slayer skill, it’s use through Emiya’s reinforcement and projection magecraft and through Fen’s Soul eater skill, which enable her to eat the Spiritron of the target and become stronger against it.
Increases his Strength rank : A → A+
Primeval Rune (Innate Time Control)
Manipulate the flow of time of the target. Cost of magical energy based on the changes created by the effect.
Primeval Rune (Spatial Transportation)
Allow him to cut through space to a predetermined location.
Increases his Agility rank : B → B++
Equal to an A rank Shukuchi which becomes a long dimension leap technique and it would be in the category of Xian Arts.
Lowest of all the Primeval Runes’ spells in termes of magical energy consumption
Primeval Rune (Causes of Death)
Force on the target all the possible causes of death that may befall on a
human. Massive magical energy consumption + only a few minutes of effect.
Those spells were craft using the 18 Primeval Runes of the Allfather
alongside his Territory Creation (Reality Marble (UBW)).
He activated it by invoking several of the 18 original runes together with the release of the True Name, then use his Territory Creation to channel his
Reality Marble power in order to alter their « truth ».
He can also make use of normal rune magecraft with various effects such as flight, parameters increases, clairvoyance, divination etc...
Authority of the Beast C : An Anti-Humanity Skill that enhances the skill
holders' capacity to harm lifeforms that can be harm through weaponry, and to severs concepts such as time, space, and causality.
Use this skill alongside Beast of the Red Plains.
Nega Mystery A : Similar to Magic Resistance but in this case the higher the Mystery is, the higher the protection and the lower the Mystery is, the lower the protection.
He has something akin to a Master-Servant or Rider-mount relationship with Fenrir. In this state Fen exist only has a spirit link to his soul that required his magical energy to take shape.
She usually stay inside of him and grants him support trough Beast of the Red Plains and Primeval Runes (both can be use inside UBW).
She takes the form of a white wolf with the size of a bear that has several
runic tattoos around it, alongside a blue miasma and two horns.
She’s classified as a Divine Beast-class being as powerful as one of the
Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors. She’s a being similar to Merem Solomon’s Four Great Daemon Beasts.
Why a companion ?
- Kerry : Iri → stage 4, Affection of the Holy Grail A+.
- Sakamoto : Oryou.
- Okita : Rengoku.
So - Emiya : Fenrir (note that its not the actual one but a Divided Spirit + Daemon.
Emiya use his own essence as a daemon and Fenrir’s in order to craft a
powerful familiar, in order to do so he use Demonition).
Fen’s parameters :
Strength: A Endurance: B
Agility: B Mana: B
Luck: D NP: A+
Why a Beast ?
Gil = fight Tiamat, body taken over in order to help Beast 6, and in CCC → Independent Manifestation.
Tamamo = She and Daji are Divided Spirit from Amaterasu → all 3 of them are potencial Beasts, Koyanskaya takes over her saint graph.
Nero = Links to the whore of babylon (Draco), the latter takes over her body in Arcade.
Emiya = Links to Kiara.
In FSN he say to Cu that his «Gae Bolg: Striking Death Flight» exceed the original, Gungnir.
Odin force Brynhildr to go berserk through her Primordial Rune in order to take out Manaka, who is considered a threat to humanity and the world by the Counter Force.
In Avalon le fay → Muramasa in shirou body, and Cu with some of Odin’s powers.
Beast of the Beginning : the beast that start the Era of the Will.
Exceeding the limits of humanity by surpassing the body and reaching the soul while still having human form.
Reaching a utopia that could eliminate and cure all hatred and suffering.

Alternatively, you can use Castoria + Koyanskaya + Atlas Mystic Code. Castoria and Koyanskaya will fill up Emiya 1st turn and reduce his CD by 2, then use the Atlas to further reduce CD by 2 to have his Art NP on turn 2. Granted that you must have either Castoria or Koyanskaya, not only will your dmg against be much more consistent throughout 3 turns, you will also less likely to be disrupted by 1-2 enemies waves. Just my opinion.

I got Emyia archer and assassin from the same multi a outside of rate up a while back and I have been spooked by them 3 times since then so it's nice to know I'll get some use out if them.

This is another reason I'm salty asf.. I have 21 ssr 2/4 stronk caster (merlin and skadi neat for his looping) and a nero bride but.. I don't have a fouckin emiya!! He's actually the only character I wanted after S.Ishtar got released so far.. no luck =-= I wanted to np5 him bad don't even have a single emiya archer =_=
if you already have space ishtar then you dont need emiya, unless it's for husbando reason

i cant see why people act like his arts buff makes him the second coming of black jesus, when all it does is make him a cool arts servant for 1 turn
if you need to use him for more than 1 turn, then you'll need either koyanskaya or merlin to buff his buster np, which means instead of having the strength of like 2 castorias, now you have the strength of 1 koyanskaya or 1 merlin, or if you ignore arts, then the arts turn will be really not amazing
overall he strikes me as being way too complex while delivering too little, and the buff lasting 1 turn is what causes it
the sad part is that im not sure if it'd be too OPl to buff him to last 3, he's still a 4* star and he has good stargen, and can even get a decent chunk of stars off his *arts* np
balance wise i understand why they might not want to make him have it for 3 turns, but it sucks cause i feel so little reason to use him, specially since it requires supports for multiple card colors for what amounts to okayish results
Because it allows him to be incredibly flexible with team setups with his ability to work in Buster and Arts teams flexibility that if you’re a free to play player, dolphin, or whale is incredibly nice to have especially for a servant who you can get in the tutorial summon

if you go with buster you'll have all turns of good buster np (if you wish) but your art cards wont be amazing
needing both supports due to a mismatched np doesnt strikes me as flexible at all, and one turn of just having a normal arts np wouldnt solve things, specially since if you cant finish fights in 1 turn, of which most you cant, now you'll be left with a way weaker np
also i wish i had gotten heracles from the tutorial summon T_T
@@brunoslybruno he is worth using, I and many players before the 3rd skill second upgrade use Emiya because he an amazing crit servant, only use his NP when skill 2 is available to get more stars. He a critical hitter, facecards monster first and foremost.

You'll get emiya eventually. He gets a good deal of banners or just show up as he doesn't have much competition.
Hercules is better but he takes longer to get his bond 10 but both good starting units.

The wiki said that his fully upgraded 3rd Skill full name is Trace On: Circuit Connection EX.
We still don't know how NA will translate that skill since NA is not in 5th Anniversary yet.

I'm tired of people spreading the idea that his 5th buff is god's greatest gift to earth because of how now he can loop with double Castoria plugless, while ignoring that he effectively misses 150% Arts/Buster Up on W3, making his np deal super potato damage.

I've specifically been cultivating my emiya just for this. Also something to note if you don't mind plug suiting you can bring a merlin for that final wave/first wave for that sweet sweet buster damage.
Or you can use Black Grail double Koyanskaya and Oberon/Castoria
or just a chen gong if all you want is the buster buff
