Honestly, the personality/drastic changes through ascension is what makes 2019 such a roll heavy year for servants due to how good this is. Ajurna Alter, Nobu Maou and even Kama. Theses drastic changes every ascension makes theses servants several cuts above the others. No wonder they made it to the highest grossing mobile game this year.

@@MuhammadKharismawan They are all AOE, but that doesn't mean they have the same purpose. Dantes was mostly built for CQs before Skadi came out and enabled him to actually spam his NP. Nobu is legit terrible as a farmer with her kit and deck and has a nonexistent niche in dealing more damage to Divines, which is legit awful for an AOE Avenger. And Space Ishtar is a general purpose DPS / farmer with a 50 % battery, who is held back in NP looping by rather meh generation stats. If you just compare them by their farming abilities, Salieri is a much better NP looper than she is, and also quite easy to NP5.
Probably a coincidence: Ishtar gets a summer version on the same event as Nobunaga, and on the same year, an Avenger class version. But please let Ishtar be good....
That's not the problem. The problem is Ishtar already got enough attention, and she already has her own summer version, while more people would rather get another alt for Eresh than a 3rd Ishtar. And Space Ishtar here ruins that opportunity for Eresh to get anymore attention as that silhouette was Ishtar all along.

Honestly tho saber has taken over fgo since day 1 and people rarely comment on that. Also I find ishtar kinda nice since in babylonia she express that the only reason why she attacked kur is because she wanted eresh to take a break and enjoy her life as a normal girl too, her rider form dialogues is also very endearing as she promise so stick with us to travel the world. So yeah.

So, 1st ascention are brooding dark mercenary. 2nd ascention are (from what i see) cheerfull, confident amnesiac bounty hunter that hasn't realise her own potential power, yet she seem scared if that will happen. 3rd and 4th are said bounty hunter has tapped her true potential : powerfull goddess with cruel personality.
Have you guys noticed something in the np. In the first two set of the np, when the large Ishtar appears her eyes are closed at first, then only in the final form, the large Ishtar appears with both eyes open. Maybe in this story, she undergoes a revelation in her second form and with this revelation, her eyes are open to the truth, allowing for the third form.

(also 1st Asc have a dif. NP) Murasaki Shikibu Musashi Summer Slightly different that I know of; Maid Alter Rider (2nd Asc.) Lancelot Berserker (1st/2nd using his pole) Abby for different NP only, Hokusai only recolor. Remind me if I missing someone.
Her np rate and star rate is low though so it is the case of 'Jack-of-all-trades but Master of none' and it is easy to shove her aside for much more specialized servant.
I dunno, I LOVE all her animations after 3rd, but look wise I like her default costume. Looks the most like Rin to me, which is what I prefer her to look like. How else am I going to enjoy seeing her alongside Muramasa and Kama in my party?
From my observation, the attack motion of Avenger Ishtar was learnt at least from 3 different Servants: Summer Jeanne Alter, Musashi, and EMIYA. She is a very diligent apprentice huh?
They missed the oportunity to change her "stand" dress color depending of the type card of the NP like Red for Buster, Blue for Arts and Green for quick
@@Ty_Jac she is definitely broken lol. She's got a better imperial privilege that has an 80% chance to grant 20% atk buff on each card type. On top of that same skill, on it is a 50% battery. Her first skill is a 20% charisma, which acts as a double charimsa on everyone but herself. Her second skill gives invulnerability plus np damage up. That also lets you choose your np card type to make use if your big card type buff. She has three damage steroids that stack multiplicatively as well as a hard survivability option. She can also, because of her card type change, be ran in ANY COMP YOU WANNA PUT HER IN. She has no niche, because she can do whatever she wants.

Just makes them good at a certain situation and can be used it varying comps for a specific purpose. None of what you said is "broken". First there is nothing in her kit similar to imp privilege, the card type is rng based which is always a con, not a pro even if it is 80% (and don't say use ozy or something cause thats not a good defense), the 50% np charge is great for farming and whatnot but not rly broken, also she only has one reliable 20% atk steroid buff other than the 2 np damage buffs and 20% rng card type bonus in which she gives the higher 30% to party members is kind of odd and should have honestly when the other way around or give her the extra 30% atk buff tho its a buff nonetheless so i'll take it. Outside of her np damage her atk is not rly great unless you follow up with extra atk after np and crit. If anything her kit makes her wildly unique and versatile and interesting enough to put in plenty of different team comps. Overall tho her kit is nowhere near broken. She is rly just an aoe avenger with great aoe damage with the choice of card type that can be useful in battles where specific card types are resisted or for buster or art brave chains.

Space Ishtar is essentially the only Servant(s) (as Ishtar Ashtart) given SWII's lore by my knowledge, that could potentially give a non-supported Type some serious competition for power and durability in a lore-sense (or even supported if it's even possible) and dwarfs every other Servant in the game possibly (you have to put enough pressure on Ishtarin and Ashtart to make them agree on such going by their dialogue in the story). As Jane mentions in SWII, both Ishtar Ashtart and Ashtart Origin's 'physical' bodies are merely conceptual universes, simply put their own universes' manifesting in a 'physical' body. It manifests as Ashtart Origin's Damage Reduction buff in both her battles (which Ashtart herself explains after the first battle) where planetary size attacks can scratch her but it actually takes attacks that are galaxy/universal size to actually harm her. Any other attack that's not at least planetary-size will connect but not get registered as damage aka how the first battle goes. That's some serious conceptual defense and would have made Space Ishtar the most busted and broken summonable Servant had she fully retained a passive/active skill of that (I personally believe her second skill is nerfed version of said passive to balance her out more somewhat) and the only Servants at the time we know of that can do anything near that scale are Gilgamesh thanks to Enuma Elish (come on AUO, stop letting that cosmic ego get the best of you), Kiara (no need to explain given her NP animation as an Alter Ego/boss) and Arjuna Alter (if you take his NP as being able to be planetary-scale). Gameplay-wise, she's one of the best if not the best DPS farming servant with the right support (well she benefits from any kind of good support such as offense, defense, healing but mainly Arts) but she still does have some poor areas. Namely, Avenger only being strong against Berserkers (pretty common) and Rulers (not that common outside of events) and a lack of a personal buff that allows her to ignore Defense and/or pierce Evasion/Invincibility (enemies starting near the end of EoR and beginning in LB2 onwards will try to abuse Evade/Invincibility). Aoe NPs also are less practical against single enemies/bosses due to the damage drop off and less NP gain from using an AoE NP. Also, despite her solid NP gain, her Art Cards only hit twice... Arjuna Alter could decimate his Lostbelt/world/planet but was limited by the support of the other Hindu deities empowering him. Lostbelt Zeus could move the entire pantheon and was overall superior to Arjuna Alter lore-wise and we fought him when he had already spent up a lot of his strength (and we barely somehow 'won'). Space Ishtar (Ishtar Ashtart) is essentially a mobile conceptual galaxy/universe in a 'human' body with an impressive personality spread. Also, I want to believe that Ishtar Ashtart's much younger voice is simply because going by SWII, she's a 'newborn' galaxy (as she/they puts it) just recently born near the end of the story whereas both Ishtarin and Ashtart were already 14+ years old before the story began.
Space Ishtar is just broken, 2 debuff resistance 42% and 2 crits dmg 16% total passives, further more the 1st servant who can change NP card types which basically become queen for the support (Tamamo, Merlin, Scáthach, Waver)
Love how even as an ascendant demon space goddess she still stays true to Rin by getting pissed off and beating the shit out enemies with her bare hands
Arjuna Alter: I have the most beautiful NP animation with space stuff on it. Avenger Ishtar: *exists* Arjuna and the entire Indian pantheon inside him: Aight, imma head out.
So... let me get the connections straight here. Archer (Rin's Servant) Lancer (what Rin's Servant was originally going to be. Fate/Extra appearance) Rider (Waver, her teacher's, Servant. Complete with world travelling reference) Avenger (The first Avenger took Rin's love interest's form) All thats left is a Saber class (Rin's Servant for the second half of UBW) and we've basically got all of her connections covered...
It is said Astarte is another name for Ishtar, which, surprisingly enough, resembles the name of one of the seven lords of hell, Astaroth Combined with the fact her 3rd Ascension calls itself an "akuma" (No, not the SF guy), which means devil in japanese and.....well....you get the point

I was so determined to skip Space Ishtar's and Calamity Jane's banner, now I'm sitting on 2 SQs but with NP2 Space Ishtar and NP4 Calamity Jane. If they release some godlike banner in Christmas and New Years I'm definitely screwed.
So she's the ultimate all rounder that can work with any Support Caster since she can change what kind of NP she wishes to use. Maybe the least effective would be with Skadi since she can't Quick brave chain, but she could still make it work pretty well.

From my observation, the attack motion of Avenger Ishtar was learnt at least from 3 different Servants: Summer Jeanne Alter, Musashi, and EMIYA. She is a very diligent apprentice huh?

@@Ty_Jac she is definitely broken lol. She's got a better imperial privilege that has an 80% chance to grant 20% atk buff on each card type. On top of that same skill, on it is a 50% battery. Her first skill is a 20% charisma, which acts as a double charimsa on everyone but herself. Her second skill gives invulnerability plus np damage up. That also lets you choose your np card type to make use if your big card type buff. She has three damage steroids that stack multiplicatively as well as a hard survivability option. She can also, because of her card type change, be ran in ANY COMP YOU WANNA PUT HER IN. She has no niche, because she can do whatever she wants.

Just makes them good at a certain situation and can be used it varying comps for a specific purpose. None of what you said is "broken". First there is nothing in her kit similar to imp privilege, the card type is rng based which is always a con, not a pro even if it is 80% (and don't say use ozy or something cause thats not a good defense), the 50% np charge is great for farming and whatnot but not rly broken, also she only has one reliable 20% atk steroid buff other than the 2 np damage buffs and 20% rng card type bonus in which she gives the higher 30% to party members is kind of odd and should have honestly when the other way around or give her the extra 30% atk buff tho its a buff nonetheless so i'll take it. Outside of her np damage her atk is not rly great unless you follow up with extra atk after np and crit. If anything her kit makes her wildly unique and versatile and interesting enough to put in plenty of different team comps. Overall tho her kit is nowhere near broken. She is rly just an aoe avenger with great aoe damage with the choice of card type that can be useful in battles where specific card types are resisted or for buster or art brave chains.

@@sylvierose2799 well i guess i should fix that. Space Ishy can be used in varying team comps for different purposes such as just doing a lot of aoe np damage or like a said getting past a battle where an enemy has resistance against a certain card type. Thx for noticing my mistake.

The red highlights are making me think this is Fate/Extra Rin's body, instead of the FSN version that archer Ishtar was using as a host.
Space Ishtar is essentially the only Servant(s) (as Ishtar Ashtart) given SWII's lore by my knowledge, that could potentially give a non-supported Type some serious competition for power and durability in a lore-sense (or even supported if it's even possible) and dwarfs every other Servant in the game possibly (you have to put enough pressure on Ishtarin and Ashtart to make them agree on such going by their dialogue in the story). As Jane mentions in SWII, both Ishtar Ashtart and Ashtart Origin's 'physical' bodies are merely conceptual universes, simply put their own universes' manifesting in a 'physical' body. It manifests as Ashtart Origin's Damage Reduction buff in both her battles (which Ashtart herself explains after the first battle) where planetary size attacks can scratch her but it actually takes attacks that are galaxy/universal size to actually harm her. Any other attack that's not at least planetary-size will connect but not get registered as damage aka how the first battle goes. That's some serious conceptual defense and would have made Space Ishtar the most busted and broken summonable Servant had she fully retained a passive/active skill of that (I personally believe her second skill is nerfed version of said passive to balance her out more somewhat) and the only Servants at the time we know of that can do anything near that scale are Gilgamesh thanks to Enuma Elish (come on AUO, stop letting that cosmic ego get the best of you), Kiara (no need to explain given her NP animation as an Alter Ego/boss) and Arjuna Alter (if you take his NP as being able to be planetary-scale). Gameplay-wise, she's one of the best if not the best DPS farming servant with the right support (well she benefits from any kind of good support such as offense, defense, healing but mainly Arts) but she still does have some poor areas. Namely, Avenger only being strong against Berserkers (pretty common) and Rulers (not that common outside of events) and a lack of a personal buff that allows her to ignore Defense and/or pierce Evasion/Invincibility (enemies starting near the end of EoR and beginning in LB2 onwards will try to abuse Evade/Invincibility). Aoe NPs also are less practical against single enemies/bosses due to the damage drop off and less NP gain from using an AoE NP. Also, despite her solid NP gain, her Art Cards only hit twice...
Arjuna Alter could decimate his Lostbelt/world/planet but was limited by the support of the other Hindu deities empowering him. Lostbelt Zeus could move the entire pantheon and was overall superior to Arjuna Alter lore-wise and we fought him when he had already spent up a lot of his strength (and we barely somehow 'won'). Space Ishtar (Ishtar Ashtart) is essentially a mobile conceptual galaxy/universe in a 'human' body with an impressive personality spread.
Also, I want to believe that Ishtar Ashtart's much younger voice is simply because going by SWII, she's a 'newborn' galaxy (as she/they puts it) just recently born near the end of the story whereas both Ishtarin and Ashtart were already 14+ years old before the story began.
Seeing rin have a avenger version i hope someday dw should give one to emiya too

Space Ishtar is just broken, 2 debuff resistance 42% and 2 crits dmg 16% total passives, further more the 1st servant who can change NP card types which basically become queen for the support (Tamamo, Merlin, Scáthach, Waver)
She is strong sure but due to her nature as Jack of All Trades, she'll lose to the more specialized servant in near future.
Love how even as an ascendant demon space goddess she still stays true to Rin by getting pissed off and beating the shit out enemies with her bare hands

Isthar's NP music is quite good
So she's not arts nor just quick or just buster she can be all three and has red and blue lightsabers that's really awesome
So she's the ultimate all rounder that can work with any Support Caster since she can change what kind of NP she wishes to use. Maybe the least effective would be with Skadi since she can't Quick brave chain, but she could still make it work pretty well.
