- Today we take a look at the 2020 Ford Mustang GT Premium! This is the 2020 Ford Mustang GT Premium equipped with the 6 speed manual transmission and the performance package! Super clean looking front end with sharp lines. It really has a wide apperance and works well for the car!
The interior is premium feeling with nice leather and aluminum trim pieces! The seats have great support and even the back seats have the same attention to detail!
The gauge cluster has tons of information and it's very easy to go through and adjust the settings that you personally like, for example, chaining the exhaust note to track, which you should do every time you drive it! The note from that 5L V8 sounds so good!
The V8 has plenty of power and with easy shifts from the 6 speed, it is very easy to drive, has a light clutch pedal and even with the active rev matching, just makes it a great car overall!

@@willythewhale2235 I had it for a year and a half before it developed a transmission fault that turned out to be very difficult for Ford technicians to solve. Long story short, I had to get corporate involved and ended up with a great deal on my 5.0. I love both cars. Great platform.

I’m actually so glad I went with this over the 350gt. It was cheaper and seems like a much more reliable package to everyday drive.

My dad has had his 2015 GT Premium for a little over two years and he is still in love with it, he bought it with a whipple supercharger and it moves!

@@1LE_Ciko when I first got it I did 1500 down with a co-signer because I was 20 and only had 4 lines of credit and couldn’t be accepted even though I had 790 score, but car was 42,700 total minus down payment and had 6.7% interest rate and for 6 years my payment would’ve been 716, insurance 280, now I refinanced after 6 months got 2% interest rate for 6 years once again and my payment is 540, insurance is down to 204, so prepare for all that, not to mention it is hard to stay off the gas pedal especially with exhaust work done, and I spend about 200 a month on gas if we only drive the mustang, has 23k miles on it now and never had a problem with it runs great and looks amazing still, thankfully, it’s a super fun car and I still smile every time I see it.

Trust me a tune gets rid of that quick.
It is a software limit. A tune can turn it off but I believe there is a hard limit at 165 that can't be tuned away. The aerodynamics of the GT above 165 mph start getting dangerous; not enough downforce to keep it from going airborne.
I have a GT premium with all the options. In either of the track modes or either of the drag modes it does not seem like 460hp. It seems so much more. I think this is due to the insurance. It seem an extra 75 to 100 hp more. It is not the same car at all. In the lower settings it is fast but in the other modes it will get you in trouble much faster.

I just bought a Tacoma and immediately considering going back to a mustang. Had a 2019 ecoboost and loved it jsut wanted more power. Some “level headed people” convinced me to buy a truck but I have to say I REALLY miss my mustang and was interested in getting a 5.0.
I have a Tacoma and love it! Can't go wrong with the truck, but so much different than the mustang lol. The eco boost is cool, but I'd definitely go with the 5.0, although tuning the eco boost, you can get some serious power from them I've heard!
Just by listening the cold start am most definitely going to trade my Dodge Charger for a Ford Mustang GT Premium 🙏🏻

EcoBoost is pretty cool engine tho. But that GT is a beast of a V8!
just prepare a couple of dollars for the turbo charge maintenance, the Natural Aspirated is a lot reliable and more durable that the turbo charge version.

Man they've gone up a lot! When I bought my 2017 performance pack in ruby red I paid 37k out the door I went to look at the 2020s and the premiums are 52k and performance pack are 45k what the hell lol might as well get a shelby gt350 for another 8k

I completely agree. The one time you’re going through a drive-through or gas station and you don’t see a curb on either of your sides , you will instantly regret having low profile tires.

Dude you sold me a rapid red mustang GT. I was gong for a twister orange but after seeing this I change my mind. Here in east Asia we only have one option for GT. Its fully lorded with magneride, 401A and PP1 etc but you only can change the color. It cost 85K almost double the price compare to US. Hardest part is to wait 5 freaking months to get it.

I bet that your tester is missing the MagneRide adaptive suspension. Also it is missing the 401A package with the digital dash cluster and the Safe and Smart package with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep alert and frameless rear view mirror.
