As a spark, I actually preferred the noggins set at 1.2m. Run the circular saw down them and notch away 10-15mm for your 25mm metal switch boxes. I find that quick and easy. congrats on 10k subs very well deserved! :)
Nice, but it would have been way better if you'd shown the construction of the angled panel. I think anyone can work out how to do square walls but I'd like to have seen how you laid out the angled cuts.
Definitely not a joiner or a chippy. Double stud should have been on the outside corner to carry the plasterboard, and allows the other end to fix to the wall through one stud, not two. Also, the noggins are normally fixed at the same level using a gauge staff. Just sayin, having done this for 30 years....
Love this! Cheers boys.
congrats on reaching the 10K at last
Thank you!

👍
Congratulations on reaching 10k! Nice video.
Thank you so much 😀
Congrats on the 10k subs 😎
Was that a framing nailer you used to secure the chipboard 🙏
How many MM short did you make the wall to be able to lift it in like that?
what size timber thickness do you use . 3 x 2?
Im doing one on second floor 2x4 with old slat flooring underneath, is it ok to just put the stud on them or should I go down to the beams?

If you've been doing this for 30 years, why are you watching a help video on how to build a stud wall..?
