I am confused… if you are checking if the wall is plumb, why would you put the level on the 3inch side not the 2 inch side?
When you lift the frame up off the floor to put in place does it catch at the top due to the angle?

I was looking for a video on how to build a stud wall. Sizes of timber, size of nails, or screws, things not to do how to correct mistakes, how to include frames for doors etc etc. All got from this was how to use a spirit level. Duh!
Great video! I am planning on getting some walls done and wanted to know how you fix the headplate to the ceiling joists ? Are these screwed on ?
You can either screw or nail gun mate
What size timber for the stud walls are you using? 3 x 2
For that particular wall it’s 3x2 due to the pocket door frames but as a standard we like to use 4x2
What's the gap sizes?
