I like DDP, in an industry full of guys desperate to piss on each other, he can still speak respectfully about the guy he brawled viciously with, the guys a class act.
I agree DDP seems nice, but I do remember watching a shoot interview somewhere where he says he got the best of Scotty in the fight which is complete BS according to all the other witnesses to it.
DDP is ok. I ran into him and Jake the Snake down in Tampa at a restaurant around breakfast time. I very politely asked when they were down for an autograph or a pic and DDP rolled his eyes like great....which I respect but Jake was the sweetest guy. He asked what I was doing in Tampa and I told them I was at a medical conference and he asked if I was a doctor. I told him yes and he then went on to tell me about his hip replacement, and just really nice. Then DDP became cool and told me to use DDP yoga for my patients. I just smiled and said since you're a hell of a lot bigger than me........yes sir!!!! Then he was cool then!!!!
@@brianhays1797 Why do you think so many wrestlers live in Tampa? Is it the strip clubs? :) After all Tampa is the home of the world famous Mons Venus. They actually made a movie about the owner - Joe Redner. The movie is "Strip Club King" and it's interesting.

I actually wanted Goldberg to win just because of the streak even though I was also a big fan of DDP but if the streak was going to end, I was prepared and accepting of it being DDP to do it. Nash wasn't anywhere near worthy enough to end the streak, especially the way he did.
Goldberg’s momentum was slowing down but the streak was still a draw. It would’ve have been good to turn Goldberg heel in 99 so the streak would be based on the fans hype on who could end it. A rematch, with DDP going over a heel Goldberg mid 99, ending a bigger and more substantial streak would be more epic!
