- Rick Steiner on Scott Steiner's Personal Issues with Hulk Hogan
10 time World Tag Team champion and Professional Wrestling Hall of Famer "The Dog Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner discusses the problems that his brother Scott Steiner had with Hulk Hogan in recent years which apparently led to Hogan bringing lawyers into the dispute at one point.

Scott should open a furniture store so I can buy a Steiner Recliner.
Lol
Fuccin nice🤣
I will buy one quick..
He wanted to make al snow the manager but mick foley told him al doesn’t sell chairs!
Good one. 😂
I like how these brothers always have each other's back
Thats the way it should be
@@1981Stuff this. Not sure why it’s considered special these days. There was a time it was considered default.
Not for a long time. They hated each other for years. Lots of these shoot clips on here with Rick putting down Scott a lot.
@@screamingbaboon664 Where?
really which interview?
Man I’m 40 years old and just got chills thinking about how excited me and my brother would get as little kids when the Steiner brothers would come down that ramp. Hell I about killed my self and my brother trying to do the Frankensteiner. Lol. Good times.
hell yeah.... I'm the youngest of 5 bro's, i got my ass kicked🤣🤣
Rick always seems like a humble down to earth guy. Scott..... not so much.
Scott just makes you back you're shit talk .
@@towmater7081met Scott during one of my first shows backstage (a whole lot of us first show that night) he seemed off-putting at first but later came up to us and shook all out hands and wished us good luck on the battle royale, awesome guy.
Scott isn't pu$$y.. Scott will come to your house..
@@thnzxc I met him at a TNA house show. Spoke to me and my friend for about 15 minutes. Super chill, and we didn't even buy any merch.
I meet Scott in Woodstock ga where he lives.he was nice
Steiners should be in hall of fame.
They are in the Geroge Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Iowa which is a very legit Hall of Fame. No Koko B. Ware in that one.
I hate the hate that Koko gets for being in the WWE Hall of Fame. Yes, onscreen he was often in a jobber role... But, I used to go to WWF house shows every month and that guy was seriously always one of the most over guys in the show. He was a great 'pop' guy.
trinityparkradio
I agree. Koko was very charismatic and was legitimately a tough guy in a day and age when blacks weren't given the best roles in the WWF.
James8107 Frankie had all the talent.
No disrespect to the Iowa HOF, but no one gives two shits about it. The majority of fans will see the WWE HOF as THE HOF and they should be recognised in that and given their respect. Especially now that WWE owns all of their WCW footage.
It’s always crazy hearing Rick talk normally.
Even before The Varsity Club and before Scott came to WCW, you’d think he was off in the head and his younger bro was the rational one.
Turns out, it was vice versa. 😂😂
Scott does not just own it.. he runs it. He works it. He is not one of these guys that sinks his money into something and hopes it floats. He is in there with a towel wiping stuff down. It is the cleanest Shoney's you'll ever see.
Jon Luci its north of Atlanta. Its a good place to eat. All the crap you hear is not really true.. Scott is an approachable guy and pretty nice. At least to me he has been
Diagnol Snakeskin Pretty cool and respectable if true. I have no reason to doubt it isn’t true.
Diagnol Snakeskin I'll take an order of 2 Steiner recliners and 1 Frankensteiner
@@ricflair2221 with dessert of a Steiner screwdriver
Scott always cracked me up whenever he spoke even my mum who just turned 60 even laughs
Scott Steiner hates Flair & Hogan because he didn't & couldn't get a shot at the world title until Hogan & Flair were gone from WCW
U notice every time he refers to Scott he Neva calls him by his name it’s always ‘my brother’. U can tell they were close growing up and still close to this day

Rick is one of the greatest ever to step in a ring.
Yessir. All of the amateur wrestlers turned pro wrestlers were my favorite. Curt Henning, Steiners, Bret Hart , Brock Lesnar, Angle, Shelton Benjamin, AJ Styles, etc. That realistic wrestling style was always more appealing to me.
I didn't know Josh Brolin was actually Rick Steiner!?!?! Mind Blowing!!!
excellent Hannibal. thanks buddy
My favorite duo. Thanks for posting Hannibal
All these legends can’t all be wrong about hogan. Too many of them have the same negativity about him.
There are wrestlers that like Hogan too though. I think Hogan is probably a fun guy to be around, but not trustworthy, and would lie and sell you out if he doesn't know you, or doesn't consider you a friend, however, I think he's loyal to his friends (few though they may be).
AdoreYouInAshXI mmmm nah that aint it
@@AdoreYouInAshXI _WHAT FRIENDS?_ At least, when he's been in character, Hogan has _NEVER_ been able to keep friends--Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, Tugboat, Savage, Brutus Beefcake, Sid Justice (Vicious), and on, and on...
@@RobertNielsen1970 Dude, you don't know much about wrestling if you think Hogan is the big bad guy that jobbers like you on the internet make him out to be. Savage was great. I loved the dude as a wrestler, but he was a psycho in real life. A paranoid schizophrenic. Even his brother has talked about it. People get all over his dick because he was such a cool wrestling personality, but he was insanely jealous and controlling of Liz, and that's why he hated Hogan. Even though everyone that was around back then knows nothing happened between Hogan, Hogans wife and Liz.
Hogan was arguably the biggest star of wrestling in the 90's. He may not have been the most over, but he was the highest paid. That's going to come with a lot of jealousy and bitterness. Especially from mid carders like the people you listed (and Honkey Tonk Man, lol... the biggest of them all lol). But in the business a lot of people liked Hogan, and actually owe a lot to him (in their words).
Let's see, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are really close with him, Paul Wight (The Giant), Rick Flair, The Rock, John Cena, Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Jim Duggan, Virgil, Greg Valentine, Mr. T... also, Brutus Beefcake squared up with Hogan.
@jujitsuman68 Bret Hart you mean.
I always wondered how close Rick Steiner was too his character there's really not much difference.
That cauliflower ear says all you need to know when it comes to the Steiner brothers lol
lol rick wore headgear, suprise he has it
Rick actually seems like a pretty articulate, smart guy. Not sure why they stuck him with that dog faced gremlin gimmick for so long. Would have been cool to see his real personality come out a bit. Maybe something similar to how Arn was late in his career.
I heard that Rick was actually the tougher of the two Steiner brothers. That's scary.
He’s the older he should be tougher growing up before the steroids overcame Scott
Went to work once, told my employer to give me the phucking mic 🎤, cut the music, who’s the man! I got let go
Started my own business and doing a hell of a lot better.
I know Scott doesn't care if he doesn't get in the WWF Hall of Fame but The Steiner Brothers belong there..They even wrestled in WWF/E and WWE own most of all the footage of other companies they wrestled in.. I can't understand the life of me that Triple H just can come in and say who the greats are and who is not.. That part bothers me the most.. These wrestlers were super stars before Triple H became a mid carder and for him to think less of guys like Scott Steiner really makes me mad..
preparation H
And fast-forward a few years and now they're both in the Hall of Fame and was Inducted by Rick's son the two time and current NXT champion Bron Breakker
imagine being the manager of scott's shoney's and having to explain a short take for the night.....
I imagine they probably just paid the difference out of pocket.
Hopefully you ain't a fat ass 😂😂
met Rick before a pro wrestling show in Mt . pleasant MI at the Soaring Eagle Casino. A real professional and took pictures with my two Step-sons at the time. We talked about him being from nearby Bay City and knowing some of the same people. Dan "The Beast" Severn vs Eric "Butterbean" Esch was the main Event. Chatted with and got picture with Severn too. Both real straight up guys.
Ricky D I met Rick Steiner also. It was at an Indy show almost 12 years ago. Real nice. The main event was Steiner Brothers vs. Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey). Bobby Eaton was real nice also. I was living my childhood days from 1991 when Rick Steiner was actually considered bigger (don't mean physically) than Scott Steiner. I remember when Rick Steiner had a short feud in fall of 91 with Lex Luger in WCW for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Bobby Eaton was in the Dangerous Alliance. So May 22, 2006 I was real excited. My dad reluctantly took me and good on him bc he isn't a fan of wrestling and it isn't his taste, but he tolerated something he didn't like bc it made me happy even if I was an adult. Indy shows are more upfront and personal.
Funny cause when they first came up Rick was the crazy one
Scott liked me enough to give a picture .. I guess I'm good for life !

@This is going to make me sound like a bitch but wins the internet
This is going to make me sound like a bitch but 🤣
I have always been a bigger fan of Rick Steiner then Scott Steiner. He looked more relaxed and Scott always looked uptight.
Scott is turning into a slightly younger version of Ole Anderson
That's how brother's and real friends have your back.
The best Steiner. I understand he's got his brother's back. I can respect that
Rick seems real level headed compared to scott
Taking the time to use a back drop and lights gives your video a better quality. Try using a microphone. I like this because you don't see many shoot interviews tale time to add production value
So what did Scott Steiner say? Any links?
Awesome thank you for sharing
Holy shit, Ric looks just like Josh Brolin here!!! I expect him to pop out the Infinity Gauntlet
How does EVERYBODY have an issue with Scott Steiner? Is it him? Or is it all of them??
The "Dog Faced Gremlin" was the GREATEST WRESTLER NEVER TO WIN A SINGLES WORLD TITLE
He won the Tv title back in the early 90s. I think. It's a shame he didn't win anything higher though.
@@aaronmonroe6176 he won the us title

Obviously the Scott Steiner that we see on TV is the same as the real person. Great guy!

That's Scott. Rick is a real estate agent.

That whole thing gave me a headache to read.
Is there anyone whom Scott Steiner doesn't have an issue with?
They seem like good guys down to earth
Also I actually enjoyed koko b. ware matches thought his drop kick was top notch.I enjoyed Frankie too even though I don't go in for gimmicks like that per se.
Steiners dont need the WWE hall....They're already IN every Hall that matters....literally....Steiners rule.
I like Ricks Dog Faced Gremlin character
I always liked Rick. Scott on the other hand extremely damn arrogant outside the ring
Holla if ya hear me
I understand why Scott Steiner & other young wrestlers at that time hated Flair & Hogan. Those 2 old bastards had their time in the 80's and should have retired in 91 or 92. WCW would still be up and running if they had given the book to Cornette and fired Bischoff.
Clifton Smith Hogan and flair did more than just hog air time, they actually made the Steiners jobs even harder than what it should be. every workplace has crooks and there's, bad apples and such
Bischoff centering creative around what Hogan would and would not do absolutely helped kill WCW. Hogan never would jobs for anyone who could actually wrestle except Savage on rare occasions. Scott Steiner,Bret Hart,Curt Hennig,Hogan held them all down with his politics. Im sick of ppl making the excuse that he made the business too thats no reason to hold virtually two decades of talent down. Even in 2003 refusing to do the series of matches with Shawn. Just absurd.
Clifton Smith ur an idiot
@@TheeCoachg curt hennig should have been pushed to the moon in wcw
Clifton Smith flair wasn’t so much the problem, he was always willing to put people ova. Hogan on the other hand....

Does "your brother" have a name.. I think its Scott
The WWE Hall of Fame is joke, they'll induct anyone now.
Merit is not their top priority. They put Carlos Colon in the main HOF and Bruiser Brody in the "Legacy Wing" give me a break!

Michigan boyz, that sayz it all!
I still somewhat have a hard time believing even though there were witnesses that Rick would go off on poor Gisele Shaw. When he’s known as the humble and easy going Steiner. When Scott is known to be a hothead with anger issues and cause incidents.
I thought he used to wear the headgear was because he had cauliflower ears I didn't see them there.

1:53 , I was there, I was playing a Casio keyboard
Didn't Scott rip some old man's head off because he said "Good morning" to him? Yeah I remember that! He didn't even lift him up out of his wheelchair! Just twist and pull! Like and old Cola pop bottle! He ended up autographing the head for the old man's son so they didn't press charges. Hogan was in and on TNA for sometime as well.
What did Scott say about TNA that turned out to be true?
I'm surprised nobody killed Scott Steiner.
Huh? Good luck. Dude is a big NCAA champion amateur wrestler.
