Hey guys! I was that semi driver blasting my horn at you guys going up 127 and 64. I recognized that truck and boat coming up in my driver side mirror and it made my day! Glad to see you guys back at it!
I appreciate that your videos are always full of quality, morality, and reality. No gimmicks or clickbait. I’d rather watch you guys fish once a month than some of the other creators who post the same videos with different dialogue every 3 days.
I could not agree with you more. I wish Hagen could post more but I appreciate that what he does post are quality videos and he doesn't do any fake gimmicks, post simply for the sake of posting something, or use click bait titles. For me personally, Hagen is just enjoyable to go virtually fishing with.
Looks like all your fans have been a little stressed out not seeing you two on the water. Nice recovery on poor fishing conditions. Watching for the next one.
Been watching your videos for a while now and i feel pretty confident in saying you dont need to add (not clickbait) to any of your titles. We believe you😂
Thank you for sharing this video, always enjoy you and Landon out fishing, was good to y'all back out on the water.Good luck out there fellas and catchem up🤙
I couldn't click fast enough when I saw the notification I really enjoy your videos Hagen. The best part is I had spinal fusion surgery this morning (thats not the good part) and I am so stoned on pain killers that I can watch this video for the first time over and over again for at least a few days. 😊
Great video! Amazing to see how Landon’s growing so fast now. We fish the Ohio out of Cincinnati. James was lucky and caught a 42# blue on Sunday after a few normal size for here. We’ve been wanting to do a road trip. Just got my old truck road worthy and like to maybe hit that dam you were fishing. As our KY licenses will still cover us. Can you share that dam you were at please? If not, that’s okay. We fish the Meldahl pool, but not up near the dam, yet. It’s very restrictive as to where you can fish. Appreciate it.
The catfishing has been phenomenal on the Ohio River, i went last Wednesday and caught 8 big cats from the bank. 2 channel cats that went well over 15lbs. River was up and muddy but i managed a couple skipjacks. My 1st bait didnt set 2 minutes and got bushwacked. And i was digging around my tackle bag to change lures and wasn't paying attention, looked up and my rod was heading to Louisville!!! Nice blue cat, as long as my leg.
We don't have blues here in Michigan but there is Epic Channel Catfishing by a floating battleship museum. I couldn't keep 3 rods in the water using cherry Koolaid minced garlic shrimp. I am going to try cherry jello next. Hit a deer Sat morning after catching only a fat 24" channel Catfish, when I was Flathead fishing. I was ok & I couldn't find the deer. Before dark I caught several Channels, a drum, & a nice 9" rock bass for a live Flathead bait.
Nice fish! Trolling motor- I have the same thing and lately it has been doing the same thing. guess I'll have to figure out the legacy setting! Thanks all you guys who knew about the motor settings.
I fish the Mississippi a lot with a tail heavy, old 300 series Ranger. I have the Ultera. If my wife and I both get in the back it does the same thing, hunts back and forth. Mine always does this on the river. I think it's inevitable in swift current unless someone can tell us how to turn the gain down on spot lock. Till then, try to keep more weight in the bow. That always calms mine down. Great catch!
Update to you and myself Hagen. Boat scale is the key my friend! I did some research on this, and it does exactly what I suggested. It turns the gain down on smaller boats with the 24volt motor. Turn it down to -1 or -2 in "system", then "boat scale". Lesson learned from the comments!
My trolling motor did that and I had to switch my auto pilot from advanced auto to legacy. The newer models advanced is your factory reset and if there’s any disruption it will go nuts. Legacy is what they’ve had for years it’s not as accurate but it’s accurate enough without the other issues.
That was what I assumed at first to because it has automatically gone into advanced mode before but it was in legacy mode. I tried changing the boat scale to -2 like several suggested, hopefully it helps. Thank you though and thanks for watching

I remember you blowing the horn, glad you left a comment to let me know it was you. Thank you

Thank you
I agree!!

Change it to legacy mode and adjust the scale on your remote and it should stop doing that. Great video glad to see another one from y’all fellas!
Glad to see you guys back at it again. Landon has grown quite a bit. I can't get over his deep voice. Thanks again for the great video.
It took me 5 minutes to realize it was Landon! Grown man.

Great video, next time bring Landon. Looks like you found a grownup to fish w you. Hard to see them grow so fast. Keep up the good work.
Another great video Guys thanks.
You have to calibrate the compass on those trolling motors every so often. You can google the calibration procedure.
Great video guys !
Your boy is growing up quick

Appreciate that, sounds like that might be it. I’ll definitely give it a try. Thanks for watching👍
My terrova started doing that on Monday when I went out. I’m going out for a weekend trip I’m praying it doesn’t start acting up again!
I didn't before but now I truly believe in the barge bite it stirred fish up off the bottom it seems like it makes them more active for some reason😮
Thanks ,, good to see ya'll
Long time no see you guys !

Make sure your Terrova is set to Legacy not advanced under settings/ i-Pilot. That would be the first thing I checked.
When my Minnkota does that, I calibrate it by doing the 360 in calibration on the remote.
I actually forgot about that I have had mine so long. I will try to recalibrate mine as well. Thanks for the advice!
Check your boat scale setting in your trolling motor remote. Lower your boat scale
Great video!
Nice fish!
We need a you tube video made when/how you fix your trolling motor. 😅
Make sure you have motor in legacy mode and not advance also check your scale of boat in mode
Loved it!
You seem to prefer the Cat max reels , I am going to give it a try
You should have a app and sync the trolling motor to your boat length
Try changing the boat scale on the TM settings
Enjoy the videos thank you
What are you feeding that boy!
Adjust boat scale down on your remote
Sounds like your remote is in advanced auto pilot mode and needs to be switched back to legacy mode
He said spot lock, not auto pilot but solid advice for the auto pilot on the river.
Whoa wait thats Landon?😅
Lol...Landon sounds bored when he's on camera!!
It looks like you have the autopilot on. Try checking that.
How about a skipjack video?
You need to put it in legacy mode
he said spot lock, not auto pilot.
@@Mike-y3r6q when you set legacy mode it also straightens spot lock out
That was what I assumed at first to because it has automatically gone into advanced mode before but it was in legacy mode. I tried changing the boat scale to -2 like several suggested, hopefully it helps. Thank you though and thanks for watching
Sometime my trolling motor acts like that and I have to do the loop de loops to re-calibrate the gps.
May help🤔
Do you drive in circles using tm or outboard w tm down or? My ipilot conversion on my powerdrive likes to wag
@@outdoorsinindianawithdaves9826 trolling motor used with remote in calibration mode
Call Minn kota tell him what it's doing they'll send you the part mine was doing the same thing not a hard fix
Change your boat Scale in the settings.
Up or down? Or just try it both ways? Thanks.
@@J.Co89 , try both ways
Whopper alert!
Good to see ya back
