Bubonico or Cedo. Nukor was good but got boring for sure. You can get so many damn strong Lich weapons now...and MR14 isn't too far away for Laetum, the best gun ever lmao.
For secondaries it begins and ends with the Atomos. Period. And because of its major upgrade available once u hit steel path it can basically replace 2 weapons on this list (imo). For an extremely low mr weapon, it will melt you all the way through the star chart and half way through it again on steel path before u probably will want to get the Genesis adaptor to turn it into a combination of the nukor and the spore lacer (better than the spore lacer and as good as the nukor imo) which both end up on this list, but guess what? I can equip both at the same time in the atomos.... Let's see you do that with your nukor.... But this is just one humble tenno's opinion... As for primaries, boar prime... once again extremely powerful primary shotgun with an upgrade path making it easily level cap viable....
@@J.S.M-zo2bw You can buy Galvanized mods by something around 14 platinum, I got 3 of them by trading in the market. Its the best thing you can do by far, just sell the prime parts you get by opening relics, sell them in the market, and then just by any mod you like.
I had this same issue too man. I will say duviri circuit steel path is surprisingly easy, I haven't done a single sp node but have a few incarnons from it
I didn't jump into SP until MR20 either. Spent a lot of time farming up prime parts and building just a bunch of random primes over months. Also I was (over)preparing for TNW because I thought the prerequisites for railjack and necramech would be heavy. A lot of people forget that MR is just a reflection of how _many_ things you have leveled, not necessarily how far you have progressed.
For all the newer Tenno’s that’s watching this, I definitely think you guys should try and get all these weapons and level them up BUT don’t forget about some of the older classics like the Amprex, Synapse and fulmin. Invest 4-5 forma into any of those guns and they will easily carry you through the star chart and even into steel path.

As someone who has been playing Warframe for a long time, I feel like MR12 is a little early for steel path. I feel like I knew nothing at MR12, and wouldn't have survived even early Earth Steel Path missions. Perhaps that's just a boomer take though. Yes, the MR 12 is still too early for a new player because it requires around 3 weeks to reach this level if the player just constantly crafts and levels mastery fodder equipment on the market. This game has so much crucial information that requires casual players months to learn all of it and doing SP will be pure frustration without enough prepare

I kind of have to agree with some mentioning that MR12 feels a bit early for steel path, especially in case of returning players like me. Now, granted that I've stopped actively playing around the time Call of the Tempestari came out which is quite a time frame from then until today. Back then I just felt like I didn't know what I was doing nor what I wanted to go for but now I have some things I want to get done in this game. Just to put my situation into perspective: I've not completed the star chart yet, one or two nodes at some planets, a lot more missing at Sedna and the Kuva Fortress, and Eris being at 0% completed (yesterday I've done the junction at Pluto). Out of curiosity I went to the Arbiter Vendor and the NPC mentioned that I still need to do almost 40 different missions. And that doesn't just mean all the planets, moons and the Void. According to the wiki it also includes the Zariman Ten Zero and Albrecht's Laboratoy. Meaning: For me to be able to merely access Steel Path I need to complete The New War, Angels of the Zariman and Whispers in the Walls. I have a Railjack though likely not strong enough yet, and no Necramech, albeit I am currently working on getting the latter built. That is one heck of a chunk of stuff that I still need to go through. And I am at MR11. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding, missing something and/or getting my prorities on what to do first wrong or something else. But saying that one should be at Steel Path at MR12 seems rather too fast, at least for my case.

ALTHOUGH.. it is much easier now to acquire/reach those things, so maybe he overcompensated a bit trying to guess how much easier/faster getting to steel path is.
Okay...but you know that you're not ready for SP at your MR and you know why, right? Someone starting now will probably be skipping a lot of the MR fodder we went for before all this stuff got added. I think that's more who this video is for.
I know its been a while since this post so you've probably moved on, but there are quite a few problems with it. For one, the pipeline to get to steel path is a lot more direct for a new player compared to a returning one. I was MR11 5 years before steel path was introduced so obviously trying to put a MR milestone on it isn't the best in all cases. Additionally, completing all of the main quests is a requirement for unlocking it anyway; so mentioning those specifically isn't unexpected. The things you need to get through (at time of writing) is actually very small if you're focusing on it. Your railjack and necramech can be level 1 with no mods (because them being requirements is simply a way for DE to gate your progress, they don't actually care that they are effective or that you put time into them outside the initial grind to get them). 40 mission nodes is very few if you plan on knocking a few out every time you hop on. Without hard focusing on doing your mission nodes you can run through your last 40 in a week no sweat - think about how many capture/sabotage/rescue missions you can complete in literally under 3 minutes. A player could fairly easily unlock steel path in a month or two if their main goal was to do so, and that's starting from absolutely nothing. Not trying to shame or anything, because I don't think that unlocking steel path asap is what everybody should be doing - I just wanted to point out that your "heck of a chunk of stuff" that you need to get through is actually not very much at all. The biggest time investment that a player starting from your point is going to have is literally just building the necramech - the gathering of those resources and consturcting it will take about as long as every other quest and mission node you have left combined.
my personal recommendation is Pathocyst, since you enter deimos anyway and then as you entering steel path you prolly already have helminth. Getring pathocyst is not hard and the boss fight is quite easy, and for the Helminth mirage is quite strong and braindead if you want to helminth. it has inate virad damage so building is quite easy just cold and toxin with some status, also it has a decent crit value its easy to build that too! Rn im just grinding for a necromech then unlocking some nodes to get steel path then it will be grind for mods and stuff. Thank for readin my comment and gl out there!
I'm currently Mr 15. Only just into steel path. Have no Kiva or tenet weapons. Using naturak bow , grimoire and broken war ATM for steel path. Really need better . This video should help . I really regret leaving Warframe so many times lol
If you want my advice (MR30), get yourself an Acceltra Prime and/or Phantasma Prime. They will carry you up to end game content. Other than what the video already mentioned, the Kuva Sobek and Tenet Glaxion are also really good, although they need their signature mods, which can cost a bit of plat or waiting time.
8:15 I’m honestly so happy the skiajati is on here. I finished the sacrifice quest so long ago and i literally don’t remember taking this sword off my arsenal. I pair it with my gauss prime’s redline for deadly attack speed.
To be honest, with Roar you can make any weapon Steel Path Viable. My old Baza Prime build struggled to kill level 80 enemies. I recently used that in Circuit without any gun decree. A 100% roar just made the weapon kill everything below 300.
@@njbrin347 mutalist, proboscis, and prime are worth it for different reasons. Mutalist gets crazy damage when built right. Proboscis has excellent grouping and solid AoE damage. And prime is just a solid bow with spread mechanics. I have not used the Red Veil one. And normal is only worth building to built Mutalist and Proboscis imo.
Any advice on the transition between builds. I'm in this weird spot where I have galvanized mods now, but not really any arcanes. I've got a foundational grasp on basic building, and mostly understand where to swap in galvanized mods, but every build I see that uses galvanized mods also uses arcanes and doesn't use something like serration. I'm not sure what mod to remove to add serration/hornet strike back in for that initial damage when you don't have something like Primary Merciless.
I got to MR 12 yesterday and i'm about to enter Steel Path. Are you a Wizard or something?? Also, great honorable mention, i've been using the Hate since forever (the RNG blessed me with an early drop) is my go to melee, and my go to "what do i do with all this forma?" weapon. Nice video.
The sporelacer is like a catchmoon with AOE and is lots of fun. Would also suggest a glaive like the xoris or cerata. Glaives are like melees with a projectile and AOE damage, and these are cheap. Your video on the cerata convinced me to give it a try, and now it's standard for my casual sp runs.
I like where this is starting off number one is the Cedo.. I was just taking notes the other day on a video that showed the best weapon you should get for every Mastery Rank and Cedo was the one for MR8.. I started playing this game about 7 years ago on the PS4 and that account is mr14 I took about a 3-year break around the time wisp was released and came back after purchasing a Nintendo switch right before cross-platform was released so I decided I would make two separate accounts that way when cross-platform hit if I hit my daily standing I would have an alternate account.. the Cedo is very OP for MR8, the secondary has homing disks that have a guaranteed chance to apply status effect and depending on how many of the status effects the enemies have multiplies the damage of the primary fire this weapon completely carried me through my thermia fractures unlocking my opticor vandal❤🎉... that is all...
10:41 I didn’t get Melee Influence. I believe I got Melee Exposure instead. I assume that works just as well. Also have Melee Retaliation. Which is better?
I do have one question, when you show the end game build for the Hate Incarnon you have the Weeping Wounds mod covering up what is in the bottom slot and also if you have a mod in the slot above it it is also covered what mods do you have in the slots about and below the Weeping Wounds Mod? It is at about 11:30 in the Video.
I still absolutely love the Zenith, have been using it since (login)day 200. The infinite punch through & highlighting of enemies through walls or floors is so good, especially for stragglers on defense missions. Against higher then normal SP enemies it does fall a bit short.
Always love seeing these suggestions for Mr and stuff like that and I got back into Warframe towards the end of April I believe and I was finishing my associates degree to which I got it and going for my bachelors in the fall and I am pretty damn happy and the way you talked about the weapons and how what they do and what not and everything else too is really awesome and right now I'm Mr 12, not even steel path and or Abirtrations yet but i will get there to get those mods and everything else too and your videos are very informative to which even I am learning more too about it, its tough but I will get there sooner or later, Thank you :)
I would have included the Tenet Glaxion instead of the Tenet Arca Plasmor. Also, i would have 100% mentioned the Acceltra and Phantasma, which are definitely carrying though the entire SP map.
Some other weapons worth mentioning imho (not counting Tenet, Kuva, Prime): Synapse, Mutalist Cernos, Acceltra, Ambassador, Opticor, Phantasma, Laetun (More Endgame-ish but easy enough to get), Mara Detron, From mele weapons almost everything can be built to carry you through early steelpath, Free weapons (Broken War, Broken Scepter, Paracesis, Skiajati) are all good, Also Gram Prime, Guandao Prime, Kronen Prime, Glave Prime are all awsome (ik I said no primes but theese are just too good) but vaulted, so wait for resurgance or enjoy framing plat. Also almost all Kitguns and Zaws are good.
What does Zariman have to do with steelpath? Keeps mentioning it as if you can't access before SP is unlocked.... Which is false since you need those nodes opened first. Zariman is also great content to farm out to prep for SP.
I disagree with the mr12 being to early for steel path, you can 100% do early steel path with things like fulmin prime or nataruk or cedo. (Top tier weapons) You can obtain many great mods and frames early on. (Galvanized after zariman quest) (you can get harrow,wisp, Ivara, Octavia etc (to many to list)) All of this is PLENTY to survive in steel path.
How about Xoris, im only mr11 just about to do the new war, but it is melting everything with the explosion, definitely my strongest weapon so far, I did invest my potato into it tho.
guys if you use the ignis w an arcane like primary merciless you can use a 2nd arcane if you have cascadia flare for secondaries as it stacks together so i use the atomos bc of the incarnon with the cascadia flare and i reach insane dps with the buffs\
I’m Mr 9 and unlocked steel path problems is I suck at modding bc all the elements confuse me like viral I was told the one that takes shield is best so I have them all on my guns they suck wt killing level 50 enemies so I’m here found I need galavanized mods regular mods will not cut it

just a quick thing about ignis and phage these 2 are not good for a hybrid build just go pure viral heat + status chance and multi shot to see their true power:)) crit is not always good sometimes only going for status is the best way
Hello, I´m currently level 9 and I was looking for a stronger weapon to proceed to the future enemies. I started using the Fulmin weapon at rank 8, and I keep using it still. I have to say that I´m hitting for 40k per hit in the semi-automatic form... you could include that weapon in the list aswell. Its a rank 8 weapon that apparently is beating these weapons that you are showing by a ton.
i'm MR11 and can't really handle steel path but i got the braton incarnon last week from circuit with the help of randoms and saryn and it MELTS i was really surprised since it's the base braton and didn't really know how to mod for it circuit is the best for mid game since incarnons are OP
i've been using fulmin that weapon also slaps as oneshots most of enemies i finished all nodes on starchart with it and had no issues even vs eximus mobs as fulmin really deletes them, its MR 8 weapon, until fulmin i really hated any form of guns and was running only with mele weapon so yea fulmin is 100% a recommend
If a low MR player trades for a tenet weapon, will they be able to equip it? For example: MR 8 trades for a Tenet Arca Plasmor Will they be able to equip it?
For me the arcs plans or isn’t great it’s just not strong enough like all the weapons on this list u have out dps it and then some quite easily and without problems but still it’s still good enough I’m main a acceltra or my beloved phenmor but give all these weapons a try they are u good weapons
I sacrificed mine to craft War, and I'm completely happy with the new blade. It's almost like the "spin to win" Barbarian build if you've ever played Diablo III.

My recommendian is the Pyranna Prime. Three consecutive kills, and you are massacring the map akimbo style. Add multishot, fire rate, and slash or toxic doTs for great effect.
Shotgun Flamethrower (Basically a shotgun with a beam) Shotgun Tenet Shotgun Rocket Pistols (Dual shotguns but with aoe on impact instead of fire) Kit-Shotgun Kuva Beam Shotgun Blender 1.0 - Attack Speed go brrr Big sword Melee Influence Grim Reaper Seems like the midgame is for shotguns to deal with increased numbers and fast sweeping melees.

skiajati is fun if you combine it with diriga sentinel, diriga will deal status and you deal the damage with overload
People sleeping on Mara Detron so much , I used it to melt everything in the past till around Mastery rank 20
The sporelacer is like a catchmoon with AOE and is lots of fun. Would also suggest a glaive like the xoris or cerata. Glaives are like melees with a projectile and AOE damage, and these are cheap. Your video on the cerata convinced me to give it a try, and now it's standard for my casual sp runs.
I like where this is starting off number one is the Cedo.. I was just taking notes the other day on a video that showed the best weapon you should get for every Mastery Rank and Cedo was the one for MR8.. I started playing this game about 7 years ago on the PS4 and that account is mr14 I took about a 3-year break around the time wisp was released and came back after purchasing a Nintendo switch right before cross-platform was released so I decided I would make two separate accounts that way when cross-platform hit if I hit my daily standing I would have an alternate account.. the Cedo is very OP for MR8, the secondary has homing disks that have a guaranteed chance to apply status effect and depending on how many of the status effects the enemies have multiplies the damage of the primary fire this weapon completely carried me through my thermia fractures unlocking my opticor vandal❤🎉... that is all...

I do have one question, when you show the end game build for the Hate Incarnon you have the Weeping Wounds mod covering up what is in the bottom slot and also if you have a mod in the slot above it it is also covered what mods do you have in the slots about and below the Weeping Wounds Mod? The infinite punch through & highlighting of enemies through walls or floors is so good, especially for stragglers on defense missions.
Against higher then normal SP enemies it does fall a bit short.

For tenet weapons you also have to finish call of the tempestarii before candidates begin spawning
I would have included the Tenet Glaxion instead of the Tenet Arca Plasmor.
Also, i would have 100% mentioned the Acceltra and Phantasma, which are definitely carrying though the entire SP map.
Some other weapons worth mentioning imho (not counting Tenet, Kuva, Prime): Synapse, Mutalist Cernos, Acceltra, Ambassador, Opticor, Phantasma, Laetun (More Endgame-ish but easy enough to get), Mara Detron, From mele weapons almost everything can be built to carry you through early steelpath, Free weapons (Broken War, Broken Scepter, Paracesis, Skiajati) are all good, Also Gram Prime, Guandao Prime, Kronen Prime, Glave Prime are all awsome (ik I said no primes but theese are just too good) but vaulted, so wait for resurgance or enjoy framing plat. Also almost all Kitguns and Zaws are good.
What does Zariman have to do with steelpath?
Keeps mentioning it as if you can't access before SP is unlocked.... Which is false since you need those nodes opened first.
Zariman is also great content to farm out to prep for SP.

I disagree with the mr12 being to early for steel path, you can 100% do early steel path with things like fulmin prime or nataruk or cedo. (Top tier weapons)
You can obtain many great mods and frames early on. (Galvanized after zariman quest) (you can get harrow,wisp, Ivara, Octavia etc (to many to list))
All of this is PLENTY to survive in steel path.
Honestly I'm surprised you didn't mention the Nataruk, it's given to you as a freebie after TNW and carries well into SP. Also, red crits.

guys if you use the ignis w an arcane like primary merciless you can use a 2nd arcane if you have cascadia flare for secondaries as it stacks together so i use the atomos bc of the incarnon with the cascadia flare and i reach insane dps with the buffs\

crit is not always good sometimes only going for status is the best way
Hello, I´m currently level 9 and I was looking for a stronger weapon to proceed to the future enemies. I started using the Fulmin weapon at rank 8, and I keep using it still.
I have to say that I´m hitting for 40k per hit in the semi-automatic form... you could include that weapon in the list aswell.
Its a rank 8 weapon that apparently is beating these weapons that you are showing by a ton.

but i got the braton incarnon last week from circuit with the help of randoms and saryn and it MELTS
i was really surprised since it's the base braton and didn't really know how to mod for it
circuit is the best for mid game since incarnons are OP

I’ve literally just used glaives the entire game because I haven’t found any good guns that aren’t locked behind factions.
i've been using fulmin that weapon also slaps as oneshots most of enemies i finished all nodes on starchart with it and had no issues even vs eximus mobs as fulmin really deletes them, its MR 8 weapon, until fulmin i really hated any form of guns and was running only with mele weapon so yea fulmin is 100% a recommend
Not to mention it has infinite punch through and hit-scan secondary fire.

My recommendian is the Pyranna Prime. Three consecutive kills, and you are massacring the map akimbo style. Add multishot, fire rate, and slash or toxic doTs for great effect.
