I'm an old school NYHC guy who now plays bass in a thrash band with Steve Gallo ex Agnostic Front and we play this during sound check and if we don't get a sound check then when the sound guy is doing our levels individually I play the bass line. This song will never die!

Played it last week at a local show in OC CA. When I started the bass line, one dude who was sitting hunched over at the bar suddenly jumped up and yelled, "Bro Hymn!' Pretty epic.

I saw them live in london in 2003. This was the last song and after it finished the crowd kept singing this chant for 20 minutes plus till the lights came on and we were all funneling out still chanting, 100s of us walking down the streets of Brixton chanting bro hymn on the way to the tube. The most surreal experience I'll never forget

We played this song in jailbreak by Thin Lizzy as we walked my son from his critical care room to the operating room so he could be an organ donor. December 31, 2023 at 3 AM ♥️
He overdosed and had a drug induced asthma attack on Christmas morning, December 25 which was Monday and on Friday. The told us that he had no brain activity.
3 AM in the morning of Sunday, December 31 was when we walked into the OR where five of us went in. It’s just fucking sucks.
My daughter is at their show right this moment, at Riot Fest in Chicago.
They just played Bro Hymn. My daughter sent me the video…😢💔

This is one of the most powerful punk rock anthems ever. I can't really remember, but I think I was 16 when it got stuck into my brain. Twenty years have gone by, and I keep remembering... woooooooooo, wooooohohooooooooooooo... Don't let it die, you new generations.

To all my friends present, past and beyond
Especially those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only beginning
Canton, Colvin, Nichols, this one's for you
Ever get the feeling you can't go on
Just remember whose side it is that you're on
You've got friends with you 'til the end
If you're ever in a tough situation
We'll be there with no hesitation
Brotherhood's our rule we cannot bend
When you're feeling too close to the bottom
You know who it is you can count on
Someone will pick you up again
    We can conquer anything together
All of us are bonded forever
If I die, you die that's the way it is
To all my friends, present past and beyond
To all those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only the beginning

I’m a drummer, but the bass is awesome in this version. Pretty much base my favorite songs on the drums, bass and rhythm guitar parts. One reason I also love Iron Maiden.

@@cbthomas909 it must have felt weird not calling this year.
      Fucking sucks for you, man.
Please do not allow it to drag you down too much.
You owe it to your friend to hold on and stay strong and live the fucking shit out of life.
Cherish the beautifull moments with him, put on bro hymn, sing it from the top of your longs.
Focus on positivity and love and that is what you get in return for it.
