    My machine not drying too well either after 5 years, but no warning flashes. Followed your video, replacing sensor and cleaning gunk out of that pipe. Dryer now working good as new. Many thanks!

    Thanks for the video, there was quite a built up of fluff in mine. However it didn’t solve the problem, I found that replacing the drain pump worked - the pump would drain from the washing cycle but struggled on the dryer setting.

    I would like to thank you soooo much, you saved my washing drier. Lights were blinking after short while of drying, drying was not working pretty efficient even after long cycle "cupboard dry". It was looking worse than in your case, i could make a fluffy solid tennis ball from black pieces of this something. Thank you for pro and step by step guide.

    Same problem in a newer model. Before I saw your video I did the same and was solved that way.
    If it is not solved in time, then the resistance of the dryer is burned, the sensor is spoiled and the impeller that was plastic on my own melts...
    Thanks for confirming the damage from your video!

      How long does it take to dry full load of clothes when "solved"?

    I have an Indesit IWDC6125 washer dryer since 2012 and like yourself live alone. Mine has no error codes as yet however I'm wondering if I should do this anyway. I run maintenance washes / use vinegar for descaling every now and then and also check and clean the pump filter. I guess I should take a look at this too.
    I dont use the drying function very often at all to be honest, it may be ok.

      It's only really constant use of the drying cycle that causes this. I've been using limescale preventer since this. Whether it's helping at all is yet to be determined.

    Thaks for the video,
    We had an F13 fault, so I changed the Thermistor and still not working, Im going to guess the filter is blocked and over the week end I will try to replicate the repair you demonstrated. Am I correct in assuming that there is no need to remove the top of the fan unit as this could be removed intact by taking out the big coarse thread screws.

    • @killcar5nbike2
      @killcar5nbike2  5 років тому

      I'd take it off as when I first removed mine to do the thermistor it was also pretty caked up with debris.

    Hi there, I have been watching your video and following it closely. Have cleared all the gunk out of the condenser tube, but the problem I am having is that no matter how tightly I retighten the clip which holds the condenser to the drum, it just keeps coming off, or leaking when I run the machine. I have pushed it back on as close to the drum as it will go and have tightened the clip until both ends are touching, but it just keeps coming off! Any ideas would be massively appreciated! heeeeeeelpppp!

      I'd check to see if the seal is damaged or if the plastic fitting has maybe cracked.
      I'm not sure how you could get the clip that tight with the fitting on properly as it has very little give. It coming off does make me suspect you're maybe not getting it on square so it looks like it's pushed up on one side, but might no be flush on the other side.

      @@killcar5nbike2 HI Liam, thanks so much fr your reply. You're suspicions were correct! It was indeed not flush on one side. Had to use a bit of olive oil in the end to get it on properly! Now fixed all working! Thank for yourideo and your help!

    Any idea where lost socks could go in this machine? Lost about a sock every other wash.

      The same place 10mm spanners and that thing you put in a safe place so you "don't loose it" go to.
      If you ever find that place, let me know 😉

    I have similar one that's brand new in a flat I've just moved into - is this thing even drying when working properly? I'm about to run 3rd 60min cycle in a row on the same load because things are just coming out hot and wet... what's the point? At 3 hours I might as well hang my stuff on the bloody radiator... the worst part is there's no space for standalone dryer (that will make full load bone dry in about 60 minutes...) and we can't throw away this one, it's absolute trash -_-

    • @killcar5nbike2

      What's important with these when drying is small loads. The wash function can wash a load that's too big for the dry function.
      1 pair of jeans and a fleece, or 3 bath towels is about the limit on drying size. Those as loads will take about 90 minutes to dry.
      If the drum is too full the air can't circulate and it won't dry.
      I can dry my work clothes of two t-shirts, medium weight jumper and cotton trousers as a single load on the 100 min setting to bone dry. If I chucked my fleece in too nothing would dry as it's just too much.

    • @Micromation
      @Micromation 4 роки тому

      @@killcar5nbike2 Yeah, but again, if I have to throw in 3 shirts at a time for 90 minutes each I might as well hang it on the radiator... it's just too slow O.O It will be running 24/7 just to get through normal wash for two people...
      Thank you for answer though, much appreciated!

      Mine will dry 2 towels in an hour if that's any indication. I hang most things up on an airer to dry but towels go in the dryer. You can't dry more than half a wash load at a time.

    I´m wondering how easy the bearings are to replace on that washer if the conenser is anything to go by..? mwaaaaahhhh :(....

    • @killcar5nbike2
      @killcar5nbike2  4 роки тому

      Be a full drum out job. I'd imagine you'd probably have to change the whole bearing drum assembly as one.

    pretty sure I got the same problem on a beko, apart from they seem to use adhesive for the joints, rather than a rubberised joint. Got the heating/fan section off which looks very similar, but can't get it apart and the pipe has this hard white sealant/glue and is a much bigger moulded area attached to the back of the drum shell. What shite designs, now I know why washer/dryers arent recommended but no space for just a dryer, even expensive and better brands don't seem to have any easy way to unclog these sections. Ordered an extremely cheap endoscope and flexible grabber and see if I can remove the block without removing the moulded pipe as I cant see how with the adhesive they use. why is there not an easily removable filter.
    I would just drill a hole in the side to get access to that screw, the side isn't seen anyway.

    Would never ever own a washer dryer more to go wrong and never owned one and don't actually know anyone with one people I know who have had them years ago went back to separate

    • @killcar5nbike2
