Wow, the whistle gods did hear me! I spent all my week listening to Faun! I knew the band by name but I suddenly became obsessed with their music. Great collaboration and tutorial! I find ornaments one of the harder parts of whistle playing. Cuts, slides and vibrato are doable, but rolls are in the too hard pile.

Absolute lovely music! I don't know if it is common but is it possible to mark the lenght of the tones in the tabulature, like it is common to lute tabulature? This would help a lot to repeat the music the correct way.
You can do yes, not something I'm able to offer at the moment unfortunately, but you can certainly add those yourself for your own playing if you print the tabs 👍

I have a few of Faun's album: Eden was the one that drew me into the band.
Never knew the tin whistle was played in their songs.
Eden, Luna, and XY Best of Faun are the albums I have.
Would you ever consider doing a full length conversion of the 7-8 min song "Hymn to Pan" from Eden?

It inspired me to order a Clarke Green CWD tin whistle and two books of songs.
I see now that the tin whistle is not that different from the chanter, minus the a on the bottom; and two books of sheet music: Trad Christmas and Irish tunes.
Reading sheet music is not my expertise either, but if the Whistle scale in D is anything like the chanter scale it should come back easily; plus, if Bach could read sheet music, then so will I.

It's a Colin Goldie whistle 😊 sounds lovely, and I always hear wonderful reviews about Goldie whistles, though I've not tried one yet. x
