Bell makes a clear and a tinted snap on cover to cover the vent holes that are on the top of the helmet, which based in your review sound to be exhausting air rather than taking in air. So, if you know you will potentially going to be riding in the rain, buy the snap on cover. Thanks for the very informative review!
I think you are the only one in the whole wide world of sports that wants to lift your face shield with your THROTTLE hand. That is probably why Motorcycle helmet company puts them on that side. Other than you whining about the shield non issue, and the fed up music on the intro. Your videos are pretty informative. Just my 2 cents worth.
I just got a eliminator helmet and I see a reflection in the lens I can see my face and nose it’s kind of distracted when I’m riding does your lens have that?
I'm considering this helmet, I have a Biltwell gringo with Moto goggles (very noisy) do you think the Eliminator is as loud? I dig minimal and aggressive looking retro helmets, but not always practical
I got the same helmet but with the white and black graphics and switched out the clear with visor for the chrome visor and not to happy with it in cold weather because It fogs up but what I am impressed with is that I can still ride at night with the chrome visor due to that pro vision technology, freaking clear. I did notice that using some spray wax detailing spray on the visor works for the fog up problem. But it might just be me, I do run hott. Probably just need a helmet with more vents. Looking into the Bell srt modeler for next helmet
Would you consider the field of view to be larger than the average full face? I know it is not a Bullitt but is it considered wider? I have always been wide open face and starting to think about getting a little more safety conscious but still like to see the world while riding as much as possible.
Great review Its very helpful since I'm looking to upgrade from 3/4 brain bucket. Have you tried torc t14 if so how do they compare? Should I bite the bullet and spend the extra 150 for the bell?
Good review format. I like the statment that this is a good form over function helmet. I like the looks but that chin strap and face shield is a no go for me.
Its not really your head shape why the strap get caught on your noise, your just doing it wrong, this is my first helmet and I never take the strap all the way way off, I simply just loosen it all the way then grab it with my thumb and pull the helmet off. Also why the strap is so long because you're suppose to just loosen it not take it off the D ring. Anyway still great review
You went over everything, I bought one today for $199, so I guess that would make it a 9 or 10 for value. This is my 1st helmet, and one thing that really jumped out at me was how awful the shield mounting is. Not just Alan but 2 different sizes on top of that? And with 4 washers total, I'll undoubtedly lose one lol. Even if I didn't know many other helmets have toolless quick release shields, I'd still feel like this is a terrible design. And IMHO it's kind of crummy that in all of Bell's stock photos for these helmets, it shows them with a dark shield. Stupid me, those pics made me think when I bought it I'd be getting both a clear and the dark visor.
Thats gonna be a big NAH from me. I was curious about it because it was a cool looking helmet without being over the top cartoony like the Simpson and the Lane Splitter. But a noisy helmet when its brand new will be an unbearably loud helmet after a years use.
Literally answered every single one of my questions. Awesome review man 🤙🏽

Now that I know they have a cover for the top holes, this might be my first helmet.
Great review. You quelled my vent fear but now I'm not so sure about the noise and that chin strap.

Great review!!! But my question is your choice the Eliminator or lanesplitter?

Great format. Thanks for the review
My shield/visor screw won't back out (keeps spinning). Got any idea how to back it out?

Very well done gear review
On the eliminator, does your mouth or nose touch the chin bar?

Only helmets I've tried you'll see reviewed here on the channel
Excellent review
It astounds me that helmets above $100 don’t come with anti-fog visors. Great review!
Does a Sena mount decently on this helmet? That’s my biggest question
Great review.....👍👍👍
Good review format. I like the statment that this is a good form over function helmet. I like the looks but that chin strap and face shield is a no go for me.
thank you, for a good review. I'm ur new subscriber.
Does it come with the tools to change the visor?
No it does not
Actually not, but it's commonly in every tools box we already have at home. Or available for a few cents
yes it was a good review. I liked it a lot. breaking out all those points drove home what is important.
Given the lack of chin curtain, do you get vibration or buffeting?
Chin curtain has nothing to do with buffeting or vibration. That'll be down to your bikes windscreen and the general shape of the helmet.
@@BikeNBird I ended up buying it.
Works great
Thinking about getting it now.
How’d you get the sena on there
Like usual
Sena or comms in general come with a 3m double sided tape thing. I did that for mine.

I'm trying to choose between this and a cheaper bilt
Everyone says bilt is crap but you can get with with Sena for cheaper
I’d go Simpson for looks, Shoei RF-SR for function.

Just bought mine for $200 from revzila
just got mine for that price too. The light weight and looks got me to get it, and at half off seems like a good deal.
