I realize this is an older video but I had to drop a comment! I really was fascinated with this! I chose this month.. Jan.2023.. to take a break from playing Skyrim and just watch someone else. I have chosen your game plays because of this particular 'podcast'. :) I looked at the names of your games in Skyrim which you have created and you are so fantastic at naming them that I have chosen (I made a list!) almost every one of them to watch! Thank you for so much GREAT content!!! I can hardly wait to start watching them.. (today!!) :)
Hi Grandma Shirley! SO great to hear from you ❤️ We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying our videos, we love yours so much as well! Hope you have fun with them, and maybe they can help re-inspire some stories! We have phases where the game becomes boring sometimes too, so we totally understand. We a long break last year before we started making videos again. Anyways, it means so much that you dropped by. You’re such an integral part of keeping the magic of Skyrim alive! ✨
You know I'm gonna watch a video if it compliments me ;) 100% agree with the three pillars, I often see people focus far too much on just one element which can lead to an incredible looking character that gets wrecked by basic bandits or an OP stealth archer that's focused entirely on stats and looks kinda janky and has no real heart to it.
Definitely. I agree with them that overpowered equipment and steamrolling becomes old really fast. I’ve abandoned several characters due to that reason.
Just two dudes sitting in front of a fire talking. I love it! Can't wait for the discord to come out. I really love the emphasis on appearance and roleplay in your vids. I spend two or three hours in character creation screen before I get into Helgen just making sure everything looks just right before I start my playthrough!
@@wkgames7516I used to think Fudgemuppet had some of the best vanilla builds out there, and it kinda holds true for their Anniversary Edition builds (like The Deathweaver.) However, Fudgemuppet builds tend to all fall into the same formula one way or another. Whereas Skypothesis has incredibly unique builds and push the vanilla game to its limit. Plus Fudgemuppet doesn't come up with badass special moves.
This channel is everything I needed. The attention you put to every detail of each build is admirable, and your creativity is astonishing! Thank you, guys!
Your channel helped me step down from Legendary difficulty and power gaming mindset. I was missing out on so many different flavours of possible fun in Skyrim
A quick tip: "roleplay-viable build" doesn't mean "weak build" at all. I don't really think it's possible to unpurposefully create a build which cannot be made legendary-viable to be honest, it's just about how deep you want to dive into the game and its rules
I love this channel so much and your builds are top notch. The music in the background really sets it over the top. And as a switch player I don’t have access to mods so you really give me things to try. And you have renewed my love of deep character building. I just started my own skypothosis style build of a wood orc.
The aesthetics and gameplay of the Stylite Storm remains one of my favorites of all time. The Forsworn headdress just adding a few feathers atop the female Argonians head just looks perfect to me for some reason : ] Loving all of the content btw.
Long enough? I could've listened to an hour of this! :) Having two of the characters actually sitting by a fire is really distinctive and awesome, and I'd love to see variations of that for subsequent podcasts (probably not the Rebel and Spectre, though). I've had some ideas in terms of the three pillars you discussed, but that's usually been just inspiration in one of them and then trying to fill in the others. I don't think I've ever hit the bullseye. Then again, I haven't had many build ideas anyway. The aesthetic, in particular, is fun to extend to the character creation, having my own take on the appearance and even making certain changes during the playthrough. For instance, I started the Spectre with somewhat longer hair since she'd been undercover, and then had her 'cut' it to join the Legion and build herself up again. Looking forward to more!
I love how humble y’all are and how you guys gave a shoutout to my two other favorite skyrim build channels and gave them props from how you view builds. Definitely gonna take inspiration from all three of your channels and make a skyrim build to fit me and that’s interesting, fun, engaging and looks badass
I've loved every single aesthetic you guys have come up with thus far. I also think that aesthetic is very important but I'm nowhere near as adept at coming up with combos between different armour sets. I usually just stick to the default ones
Sarge's channel is awesome and you guys are right, his corsair build is amazing. The build that brought me to your channel was the Burning Barbarian, was just browsing builds and it popped up on a google search. I am currently playing through the Ashland Drifter and loving it. Perfect combination of Dunmer, Ebony Blade and stealth. Will get around to trying the Oblivion Sentinel next.
You guys honestly deserve waaaaay more than 4k subscribers! You just bring a polish and care to Skyrim builds that's rarely seen nowadays. Modded builds are easy to do and all but considering a completely vanilla game that uses those three pillars into account? And for almost 4 seasons? That takes skill!
Oh my god, I was really needing this video, I've been trying so hard to create a good character but it just never comes out as I wanted, thank you so much
For sure! It's not very active unfortunately, but we did make an account recently and post our first Fallout build there. EDIT: whoops, looks like I responded to the wrong comment, haha. Thanks for watching the vid Felipe!
@@isaaclevy6906 The name is just Skypothesis. For some reason the fallout page on the Sky Forge is a bit harder to find, and I don't think you can view it unless you have an Account.
Literally revived the game for me. Keep up the good work you make me think of so many new ideas by just seeing how you envision your own. Thank you so much skypothesis.
Glad I was turned towards your channel! 10 years of Skyrim, and still AMAZING content is coming out. Congrats on nearing the 4K mark! Keep it up, and looking forward to the server. Would love to share ideas of characters with you there.🤘
Been playing a last spell knight build you guys have given me so much inspiration for making backstories and lore for the character and it helps playing so much
I thought I should say I love ur builds, honestly the best on UA-cam keep up the good work, u guys deserve way more subscribers. Plus my favourite build is the sunfire hereld. The backstory and Armour combo is amazing.
Your builds are the majority of my inspiration for my personal modded builds. The fact that your builds are able to inspire people to make connections between your videos and mods that they know is, what I think, makes them so great.
This video is just what I needed right now. I was inspired by your battlemage builds and was feeling like making a cool Nord mage who doesn't use the normal Nord mage tropes of being an ice spellsword with Stalhrim armor. You see it everywhere and it is quite disappointing. I've been trying to make the build for nearly a month now and finally have gotten better idea of what to do.
i totally agree, savage reaper is under appreciated, i absolutely love the humanoid only summons, just a great idea i would have never thought about, the role-play is amazing, it’s fitting for a reaper of human souls to only control human soul summons.
Can’t wait for the Discord server. Interesting to see you talk builds from other channels. (Used to be a fan of Fudgemuppet. But….constant use of mods for every single build they do now ruined it for me)
@@Skypothesis Yeah, their vanilla builds are still pretty good. My favorite Skyrim ones they made were the Samurai, Druid, and the Count. (Favorite Fallout ones were Gunzerker, Minuteman General, Silver Shroud, Grognak the Barbarian and the Mechanist)
Hey man, I don't often comment on video's but I had to comment on this. I wanted to say how amazingly talented the two of you are great imagination skills and can squeeze all the fun out of Skyrim. You have really started to get me excited about playing vanilla Skyrim again and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you two for making these brilliant videos. Keep it up!
the fact you guys make those builds around vanilla skyrim shows not only the versatility of vanilla skyrim but also opens up possibilities for those who do use mods, most channels do make builds but often its "use this mod..." or require other mods i dont have or dont want to install. so good job to you and keep making them and having fun 😜👍
This is an excellent video. I love the relaxed vibe, and the information is actually eminently useful for creating your own builds. The three-pillar approach is fantastic!
Love your channel and the fact you run all on vanilla! Used your Rebel and Volkihar Knight builds to make Werepyre build using Black Guard Hood, Royal Vampire Armor, Wolf gauntlet, vampire boots, bone jewelry neck/ring and Harkon sword. Thank you for inspiration!
To me you two rival Fudgemuppet with your character builds. The shroud of coldharbor was the most unique character build I’ve ever heard and I’ve been playing since day one of Skyrim. I hope you two keep the characters pumping
Big fan guys. My one qualm is I can’t suspend my disbelief enough to carry multiple weapons, such as the rebel with 3 different swords, or multiple staffs etc. I need one weapon load out to stay immersed. Keep em comin! Cheers
Speaking of optimizing fortify destruction without over doing it...I've been playing a Dunmer Vampire destruction/restoration equilibrium mage, based loosely off the Tamriel Vault build. I optimized the fortify destruction on 2 pieces of gear at 32% each (40% as vampire). This allows incinerate or thunderbolt dual cast for about 40 magicka. With alchemy fortify destruction/health (peaks health at about 1,000), fortify magicka/restore magicka and ethereal shout it allows for powerful bursts and safe resource management. I dropped conjuration from inspiration build and focused on speech to maximize merchants. Don't have much of backstory yet however.
So I just found this channel and watched this whole video and it was a HUGE help. I’ve been trying to get together a character I can rp and now with the details you guys gave, I feel like I can do it. I was making a Bounty Hunter/mercenary character who was an outlaw who, with a bit of persuasion, works with the jarls to eliminate their enemies while still getting to make coin. Finding an armor still isn’t easy but for a RP aspect, I feel like I can now fetch this character out. Thank you!
The point about exploit / magicka reduction is spot on - I recently set up an OP Destruction build (courtesy of another popular build channel) and I've never been so bored while playing Skyrim..
I'm rewatching this video with a few new favourite builds. Top three is so hard, the one that got me back into the game was the witch killer. Loved the bestiary and how it was made like his journal, amazing. The tonal scholar in terms of aesthetics is incredible and I have loved that one equal to both the oblivion sentinal and ghost of atmora. And the aetherial pilgrim one of my favourite videos to rewatch, but with the aesthetic choices I now feel like the new snowblade may top that just a tad. Incredible work. I'm making a build based on my dnd character so I play this game when we have cancellations, but I've made it lore friendly with the elder scrolls lore and it feels awesome. The Oblivion Wanderer or the Hunting Groundskeeper are the runner ups for his title. In dnd, I'm playing a firbolg fey wanderer ranger with a dip into the undead warlock for that form of dread fear on each attack which synergieses really well with fey wanderer. To put that in this game, your special moves segments really inspired this for me so thank you so much. One I love to do right now is Sound the Hunting Horn, cast a fear aoe spell and conjure two flaming familiars then two regular familars after they perish, finishing any left with my stalhrim bow. Playing with the Odin spell mod really helps it feel more like the character in the dnd game, you have scaling familar spells like with your atronachs, they go from wolf, to saber cat, to bear and it just feels better than the broken pride of hirstang added in the anniversaey, especially for early levels. It also adds a great spell for illusion called simulacrum, which brings in spectral copies of your opponents to fight them, great as a summon fey spell or in this case, summon daedra. Vanilla replacement is probably summon dremora but it did just feel a bit too edgy and devilish rsther than tricksy fey. Anyway this has gone on too long, and I've gotten too excited. Thank you again for getting me back into Skyrim, can't wait to see the next video!
@@Skypothesisyes they're amazing, I've gotten really into their lore as well, on what they were in previous editions and their real-life cultural mythological counterparts. Just so I can play them well. There's the look of them as similar to big blue cow people which is one take, but I really love the old one where they were just giants and head-cannon that their blue, shorter, more magical iteration is to do with the fey wild. Hence the backstory of the character I'm playing with. In my dnd campaign, the firbolg was resting under a tree near his home, when he awoke in the fey realm, at a gathering of an archfey dinner. The firbolg was known as quite the minstrel, and the archfey asked him to play at this feast. The Firbolg said yes. But doing so sealed a deal that just transpired for it was never specified for how long he would play, and he played for quite a while, his nails growing along with his hair to incredible lengths, his fingers and lips bleeding as he played his flute. It was then another fey, one looking like a giant owl, an animal his clan reveared, helped him out of the trance and led him through the feywild to a fey gate back to the material plane. When he arrives, everything that was, was not, anymore. His home and family are gone, his clan no longer in the same place. He's healed from the ordeal by priests at a local temple, until he decides to set out to find what's become of his clan and try to hunt down the archfey who did this. That's basically his backstory and really helps get into the roleplay on how he acts and reacts to things, how the words he chooses are sometimes old-fashioned and archaic. How he is very mistrusting and so relies on deception and later intimidation since his world view has been skewed. In Skyrim, I've adapted it to either be a part of a dragon break he was involved in, an elder scroll event like which sent Alduin through time, an abduction by one of the daedric priests or a completely different backstory where he's traveling with a group of musicians, becomes attacked on the road by a werewolf, where he's the only who made it out. But still heading there, not knowing what will happen come full moon (using the growl mod was great for this, the first forced transformation I had with that mod happened to be at the burning of King Olaf festival, which was such an interesting time to have it and drove him out of Solitude onto the next quest). This werewolf transformation becomes his form of dread from DND. A vanilla idea of it is either of these but with the werewolf thing, no, it's just his troupe was caught up in the imperial ambush. Edit: completely forgot to thank you and hope you enjoy reading about my character, it would be amazing to know if it inspires you to create any more of your fantastic builds, or at least feel free to take an idea and twist it to your liking should you want. Another special move is misty step, where you cast muffle and invisibility, before using whirlwind sprint to teleport. The effect of muffle on an invisible character makes the character outline look like mist and it overcomes the clunkiness of if I were to use become ethereal for the same effect. Race choice I've gone for is Breton for gameplay and perk choices but also because of the lore of the Wyrd in High Rock I feel he can have backstory with. . Also a Nord would translate to firbolg pretty well to. Again can't wait for the next upload 😁.
Couldn’t agree more with your points in this video. I can’t get into playing a character without first settling on a great aesthetic, and a compelling narrative reason for who they are and what makes the character tick. A great aesthetic also is a very important way to convey what you can expect from a build too, it’s a kind of mirror to their personality and profession. Ain’t nobody gonna believe your character is a Woodland Ranger if your running round with full on Daedric everything. A real great Ranger vibe, would be a basic Imperial Bow, Steel Sword, Dagger and arrows. Some simple Leather bracers and boots with the green clothes and Thieves Guild hood. This was a very informative video guys, with some excellent tips on crafting character builds.
I love this channel more than any other keep up the excellent work I don’t know you guys and yet I greet you as kinsman can’t wait till the next season I am looking forward to it more than any other honestly you guys never disappoint I’ve even played every build and some I’ve fully completed in a full play through and hands down all the builds give such unique vibes and fun gameplay it’s on another level of quality compared to any other build creators on UA-cam you even inspire me to create my own videos on playing epic quests using your builds but with mods and cool add ons to the game lol My favorite builds are ALL the builds honestly like I just play whatever one I feel most like playing at each time then have a blast every time I’ve even done double play throughs
while your builds are designed around vanilla one mod that came to mind while you talked about aesthetics being important to your builds is signature equipment because it allows you to keep using armour/weapons that will upgrade as you play the game and complete quests. One drawback with the mod though is that it can lead to gear getting overpowered (although there’s an MCM that allows you to limit upgrades to cap at legendary iirc)
you guys lit an interest for me to start another playthrough based on your rebel build, based on revenge. Endgame is I want to roleplay him as aspiring to become the emperor of tamriel, sort of usurping the empire.
I have a Telvanni Magister named Ildala Vaevra. She was born as a sort of experiment by her parents who wanted to create a prodigy child of magic. I have her start off in Solstheim at Tel Mithryn as a 2nd apprentice to Master Neloth who she of course helps with chores and experiments. Her and Talvas are fast friends after she helps him with the Ash Guardian issue. I love house Telvanni so much and can’t get enough of their lore and bombastic personalities. I’d love to see your guys take on a Telvanni wizard!
I love you guys' builds I try to give my characters lore friendly names that fit the race of the character also I have like eight builds going on the switch version and six of those were made buy you guys (the other two are fudgemuppet builds) even though I'm not planning to use all of your builds I'll still watch the videos on them anyways because the visuals combined with the music and explanations of each of the aspects of the build really are enjoyable
I knew at some point a i love it is not enough anymore so its so great how fast you build up an community and i think its so amazing how you create your charakters and first i saw your channel were when i was searching better or at least other syrim builds so i found all build from fudgemuppet but i alteady knew all of them and then i found your channel and every friday i watched these buulds and afterwards trying to build them i was soo glad that after all these years still are someone how make builds and every build was great and its amazing that there comes a discord server where the whole community can join for better skyrim Ecsperience in the and i want to say that go on and make more skyrim build because we love it and thanks for reading i love it ;)
Do you guys plan on making builds for other games? Like other elder scrolls installments or even any of the fallout games. I personally enjoy fallout more than the elder scrolls, but you guys have some amazing characters to rp with, and it definitely made me want to play skyrim again.
Possibly! We're for sure going to make some Fallout content once we're done with all the Skyrim stuff we have planned. After that, we're not sure yet. Maybe we'll do community recommendations!
Have you try to make a halfblood race like a redguard light-skined, or a human with orc features, or somthing like that? to make a great backstory and an awesome build of yours... Greetings from Spain
My fav is the burning barbarian for role play and back story. I love how you guys make builds. I recently made a battle mage that use destruction, heavy armour, enchanting and restoration. He wear the aetherial crown, dwemer armour, gauntlet and boots. He’s an imperial guy with long black hair named Saga. Gemini no Saga ;)
Yall do incredible work. Who voiced the Imperial Spectre video? Some of your videos say its just you two brothers, but I don't recognize the voice in the Imperial Spectre video (my favorite character so far). I would love to hear more about your channel, I'm watching videos out of order. Love your work!
I’m doing a Kratos build and as far as aesthetic, I’m working backwards. Looking like a barbarian with fur and hide and my final look will be wearing Tullius’ armor. I just wish that the axes were bigger so they look more like the Leviathan axe. I may end up dual wielding fire enchanted scimitars though.
@@Saustin97 YES the Stahlrim battleaxe is massive. We were planning on using it for one of our cutting-room-floor builds based on Gillius Thunderhead from Golden Axe.
so, I am currently building this character as I play them. However my current build is a Noble whom after becoming exiled from their family they came to skyrim, lost all they had and remember a lesson their uncle gave them. He starts to learn some crafting (Restricting him to enchanting and blacksmithing, he will buy scrolls and potions and yes that is inspired from you guys.) sells what he crafts and that is all I have so far.

Here my top 3 favorites builds and why i love them 1 - The Whiteskull Warlock Already said on the comment i post on the video but the Whiteskull Warlock is a pure masterpiece beacause is versatile, original, fun, have a very cool dark and vaudou looking plus i like the fact than you explore a more civilize and magical aspect of werewolfs because werewolfs are unfortunately limited to bassic warrior/Hircine adepts stereotypes. 2 - The Oblivion Sentinel It's just like this character have been design to be the main character of the game, she just WAY TO cool ! 3 - The Rebel / Imperial Spectre They both have their own qualities but The Rebel really fell like he could be a character you across in the game. One of those sad angry nords who suffer from the war. The interpretation of differents questelines you gave him make he have a very unique adventure of his own. And i like the evil/heroic/servant vibe of this character.
I was fighting bandits with a greatsword and they were really close to each other. I killed one and immediately killed the other one with a kill cam. it’s like I killed them both with a single strike. Pretty cool.
Im doing a build, shes a wood elf that uses conjuration, destruction, illusion and alchemy. She wears ahzidals helm and the armor of the old gods. Haven't quite worked out the backstory but what i do know is she holds animal life as sacred and will never do anything to harm them. Should it be killing dragons or daedra her mission is to preserve the animals of tamriel. She uses conjure familiar, any clam and rally spells, and ice magic to aid her in these endeavors.
Will you guys please do a nord hero soon. A 2 hand or 1 hand and frost magic warrior who embodies werewolf to destroy the imperials? That or a power hungry mage who is either a fallen thalmor or a spoiled Breton who wants all the power possible using AE destruction and vampirism
These are great rules to live by when creating a character. Unfortunately I vastly prefer playing other's Builds over my own, so it won't help me that much, lol. I really want to play your guys' Builds, but I'm playing those of Derknomicon and BuildWizard first. They strike it with the aesethic and gameplay, but neither really have the roleplay/backstory section, so i add those in myself. When I finish all of their Builds, I'll definitely be jumping over here again and playing through ALL of your guys' Builds. Also, one thing I love to do since they don't exist at all, is turn Skyrim Builds into Oblivion Builds. So I'll take something like the Ghost of Atmora and recreate the aesethic as best as possible in Oblivion, recreate the gameplay and playstyle, etc. I do however create my own backstory and roleplay, since it IS a different character after all. But the technical side of the build stays as close as possible between games. I also do this with Fallout 4, 3 and New Vegas as well. So for every Fallout 4 build you make, it actually makes 3 Builds for me.
@@Skypothesis Yeah it's actually quite an issue sometimes. I'm also going to play all of Fudgemuppet's Builds after your guys'. I think that's about 200+ Skyrim Builds (all vanilla). I also am going to play other channels eventually too like BADCompanySarge, but I'm going to mod those ones so it's a bit of a change. I have Builds for the rest of my life honestly. That used to stress me out a lot, because I was worried I'd never finish them all (which I probably won't), but I had to remind myself that it's about the fun of playing each Build, not finishing them all. I guess you could use the cheesy line "It's about the journey, not the destination."
@@HappyHippo2002 That's still some serious commitment even if they aren't finished! Just out of curiosity, are there any other games out there you roleplay besides elder-scrolls / Fallout?
@@Skypothesis Well Elder Scrolls and Fallout are the main ones, and I only do Oblivion/Skyrim and FO3/4/NV. Earlier games in those series are too old for me (sorry Morrowind). I have 70 Builds each for Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3. I made a list of what armour sets I wanted to use for a build (since I prefer a full set in DS compared to mixed and matched in a Bethesda game), and then added a matching weapon that wasn't used in another build. I don't really role-play them though, as you can't really role-play in Dark Souls much. That was mainly it. I like to role play when I play Far Cry (especially 5, my favourite), and I create a load out of guns that sort of fits a roleplay (older weapons with a bow for a hunter build for example). Same with Assassin's Creed, which I love the new RPG style ones more honestly. Recently a channel that I follow who makes Skyrim and soon to be Fallout 4 Builds, have a Dragon Age: Inquisition build planned, so I'm going to be doing that, and probably making more, since I really want to get into that game more. That's probably it for roleplay/build games. I have 63 on my Xbox at the moment, with like 11 more on my wishlist, but it's really only Bethesda games that have the opportunity to roleplay the way I want. That's why they're my favourite developers. Anyways, that's probably way longer of an answer than you needed, lol. I tend to ramble on.
@@HappyHippo2002 Awesome! We're in the same camp as far as roleplaying Bethesda games. I've tossed around the idea of making at least one build for Kingdom Come Deliverance, as that's the only other game that's "done it" for me like bethesda.
I'm not too big on Discord but I joined yours because I think I have objectively the best playthrough (not even build, because I can switch between several characters I made in one single save). I have no one to share it with. I might have to make a video or a series or something idk haha
The armor and weapon choices did irk me when I first visited this channel, I won't lie, but the limiters those choices provide makes gameplay more versatile and foster creative thinking and strategizing on the gamer's part. This was something Skyrim desperately needed.
I know this is a really late comment but I would love to hear some of the cut characters and maybe some of us viewers could figure out how to fix what's missing as kind of a group thing
I have a couple names for builds you can use. The undead king. The barbarian mage. The thunder beast. The forest ghost. The dunmer warchief. The insect slasher. I will add more in the future.
I'm kind of interested how you guys play on your first playthroughs? Do you try to role-play with backstory and gameplay based on your assumption about the game (e.g. Skyrim kinda looked like a viking game to me at first, so in this case obvious path is a nord with heavy armor and two handed weapon), do you play as yourself (play how you like, wear what you like, do what you think you'd do in the given situation) or do you prefer to research, before starting or maybe something else When I'm trying to describe it, it seems so dumb 😅 I normally just play as myself and/or go for the most obvious/generic option (I started as a knight in Demon's souls, Dark souls 1-3 and Elden ring)
My Favorite would be the burning barbarian. It was the first build I watched, though to be honest I do play him with Enai mods. Kinda addicted to Enai's work.
My favourite build from this channel is probably The Divine Pilgrim. If I get to pick my favourite build from another channel then I'd say The Artificer by BeliSaurus Gaming!
I hate how im 2 years late to this video. I believe my character could use some improvements. Ive used to fudgemuppet guide to roleplay as a starter point as well as a proper organiser spreadsheet with my modslist attached

I just started my own skypothosis style build of a wood orc.
Wood Orc's are super cool! We might make one in the future, I'd love to hear how yours goes!
The aesthetics and gameplay of the Stylite Storm remains one of my favorites of all time. The Forsworn headdress just adding a few feathers atop the female Argonians head just looks perfect to me for some reason : ]
Loving all of the content btw.
Thanks!! We’ll be making more of these for sure!
Thanks so much!!
@@Skypothesis What’s the account name? Would love to check out some more builds by you guys
@@isaaclevy6906 The name is just Skypothesis. For some reason the fallout page on the Sky Forge is a bit harder to find, and I don't think you can view it unless you have an Account.
@@Skypothesis lol, no worries, love your vids ^^
All the characters vibing in the inn kinda gave me chills. The skypothesis cinematic universe go crazy!
Not all, just the two boys lmao
Glad you like the idea! We’ve got more planned :)
Awesome! we'd love to hear about the result
i totally agree, savage reaper is under appreciated, i absolutely love the humanoid only summons, just a great idea i would have never thought about, the role-play is amazing, it’s fitting for a reaper of human souls to only control human soul summons.
i always look forward to fridays to see your new builds !! always love watching them keep it up !
Can’t wait for the Discord server.
Interesting to see you talk builds from other channels. (Used to be a fan of Fudgemuppet. But….constant use of mods for every single build they do now ruined it for me)
We love their vanilla builds!
@@Skypothesis Yeah, their vanilla builds are still pretty good.
My favorite Skyrim ones they made were the Samurai, Druid, and the Count.
(Favorite Fallout ones were Gunzerker, Minuteman General, Silver Shroud, Grognak the Barbarian and the Mechanist)
great episode, guys. really interesting hearing your process and thoughts behind the builds. looking forward to future ones!
Keep it up!
the fact you guys make those builds around vanilla skyrim shows not only the versatility of vanilla skyrim but also opens up possibilities for those who do use mods, most channels do make builds but often its "use this mod..." or require other mods i dont have or dont want to install. so good job to you and keep making them and having fun 😜👍
cannot wait for any new builds you guys make and share with us❤️
This is an excellent video.
Savage Reaper is my favorite. Watched that video multiple times
To me you two rival Fudgemuppet with your character builds. The shroud of coldharbor was the most unique character build I’ve ever heard and I’ve been playing since day one of Skyrim. I hope you two keep the characters pumping
I know you mentioned The Tamriel Vault. I suggest checking out The Sky Forge as well.
For sure! It's not very active unfortunately, but we did make an account recently and post our first Fallout build there
Big fan guys.
That sounds super cool!
Couldn’t agree more! Aesthetic is very important and can make a more creative build
Thank you!
Glad you found us be glad it helped!!
I've never subscribed to a channel so fast, not gonna lie! Good shit guys.
I’d say my favourite is the desert trickster. Something oddly satisfying about that play style.
Absolutely love you guys ☺️
💛
You highlighted FudgeMuppet AND Bad Company Sarge! Holy trinity for sure.
The point about exploit / magicka reduction is spot on - I recently set up an OP Destruction build (courtesy of another popular build channel) and I've never been so bored while playing Skyrim..
I love your builds, I ended up taking your “shroud of cold harbor” and tweaked it to make a dark elf “Sith Lord” of sorts
This is awesome, thanks so much for sharing! Absolutely love firbolgs
I love this channel more than any other keep up the excellent work I don’t know you guys and yet I greet you as kinsman can’t wait till the next season I am looking forward to it more than any other honestly you guys never disappoint I’ve even played every build and some I’ve fully completed in a full play through and hands down all the builds give such unique vibes and fun gameplay it’s on another level of quality compared to any other build creators on UA-cam you even inspire me to create my own videos on playing epic quests using your builds but with mods and cool add ons to the game lol
My favorite builds are ALL the builds honestly like I just play whatever one I feel most like playing at each time then have a blast every time I’ve even done double play throughs
💙💙 thank you!!
You guys rule! Much respect!!!
Thank you!!
I have loved every single build that you guys make. Keep up the amazing work
Just found this channel yesterday absolutely loved the desert wind exile it's my favorite build yet
Currently playing an Altmer Paladin on Survival mode! Its been an interesting ride thus far. Watching your builds inspired this playthrough!
Going hard into the Magika aspect? Or you just wanna use the race?
while your builds are designed around vanilla one mod that came to mind while you talked about aesthetics being important to your builds is signature equipment because it allows you to keep using armour/weapons that will upgrade as you play the game and complete quests. One drawback with the mod though is that it can lead to gear getting overpowered (although there’s an MCM that allows you to limit upgrades to cap at legendary iirc)
Good for roleplay, but u can also just improve the armor with smithing to keep it upgraded as you play the game
you guys lit an interest for me to start another playthrough based on your rebel build, based on revenge. Endgame is I want to roleplay him as aspiring to become the emperor of tamriel, sort of usurping the empire.
I'm new to your channel. I've watched all the builds and I must say... Woohoo!! 🙌 Currently playing the Ghost of Atmora.
Can’t wait for the server, going to get discord just for this
I love you guys' builds I try to give my characters lore friendly names that fit the race of the character also I have like eight builds going on the switch version and six of those were made buy you guys (the other two are fudgemuppet builds) even though I'm not planning to use all of your builds I'll still watch the videos on them anyways because the visuals combined with the music and explanations of each of the aspects of the build really are enjoyable
Yall need to put your podcast episodes on Spotify! This is great
I love how your builds are all based on vanilla. Fudgemuppet used to be my go to for builds but their constant use of mods put me off.
I would’ve loved to have this channel when Skyrim came out but at least I have it now
I've always loved some of these builds especially the ghost of atmora and I ended up making my own build called the Hellhound
CONGRATS ON 4k GUYS
Thank you!!!
this channel is so underrated
Yall do incredible work. Who voiced the Imperial Spectre video? Some of your videos say its just you two brothers, but I don't recognize the voice in the Imperial Spectre video (my favorite character so far). I would love to hear more about your channel, I'm watching videos out of order. Love your work!
That's Gaby, Devin's wife! She was nice enough to voice a couple of our vids. She also voiced the Jade Huntress and the Relic Hunter.
Daedric swords are blades of chaos and a stahlrim battle axe
@@Saustin97 yep, that’s what I’m gonna do. Thanks! 👍🏾👍🏾
@@Saustin97 YES the Stahlrim battleaxe is massive. We were planning on using it for one of our cutting-room-floor builds based on Gillius Thunderhead from Golden Axe.
@@Skypothesis that sounds awesome! Can’t wait to see how it turns out 🔥
so, I am currently building this character as I play them.
Hey if you guys ever want to try modded builds may I recommend perks beyond reasonable, it's a perk overhaul but it's not as insane as ordinator
Its good but in my opinion vokrii is simply the best

Solid. Thanks bois.
My fav build is a Dwarven Centurion tank. Visage of Muznd, dwarven warhammer, dwarven crossbow and i also mix shock magic/enchantments
Here my top 3 favorites builds and why i love them
1 - The Whiteskull Warlock
Already said on the comment i post on the video but the Whiteskull Warlock is a pure masterpiece beacause is versatile, original, fun, have a very cool dark and vaudou looking plus i like the fact than you explore a more civilize and magical aspect of werewolfs because werewolfs are unfortunately limited to bassic warrior/Hircine adepts stereotypes.
2 - The Oblivion Sentinel
It's just like this character have been design to be the main character of the game, she just WAY TO cool !
3 - The Rebel / Imperial Spectre
They both have their own qualities but The Rebel really fell like he could be a character you across in the game. One of those sad angry nords who suffer from the war. The interpretation of differents questelines you gave him make he have a very unique adventure of his own. And i like the evil/heroic/servant vibe of this character.
Thanks for the comment!
Your dedication to playing builds is incredible !!
Ashland drifter gotta go deeper in the role play my favorite character
The armor and weapon choices did irk me when I first visited this channel, I won't lie, but the limiters those choices provide makes gameplay more versatile and foster creative thinking and strategizing on the gamer's part. This was something Skyrim desperately needed.
Yeah there’s only so much ebony armor + Daedric sword wielding min-maxed overlords we can take lol
I think it would be really cool if you guys did face build videos for people who wanted to imitate the appearance of your characters looks.
I know this is a really late comment but I would love to hear some of the cut characters and maybe some of us viewers could figure out how to fix what's missing as kind of a group thing
I have a couple names for builds you can use.
The undead king.
The barbarian mage.
The thunder beast.
The forest ghost.
The dunmer warchief.
The insect slasher.
I will add more in the future.
Where can i find the podcast episodes or is it strictly on youtube? Either way awesome stuff
So far just on UA-cam but we’re considering doing a “real” podcast on all platforms! Thanks for watching!
Timestamp correction: the Engaging Roleplay part starts around 14:43. Not 14:13.
Ah thanks for finding that!! We’ll fix that ASAP :)
A green knight build would be cool. Like a warrior Druid
Oooh good idea. I haven't seen the movie yet but it's high on my list!
More!? Yes Please!
I'm kind of interested how you guys play on your first playthroughs? Do you try to role-play with backstory and gameplay based on your assumption about the game (e.g. Skyrim kinda looked like a viking game to me at first, so in this case obvious path is a nord with heavy armor and two handed weapon), do you play as yourself (play how you like, wear what you like, do what you think you'd do in the given situation) or do you prefer to research, before starting or maybe something else
When I'm trying to describe it, it seems so dumb 😅
I normally just play as myself and/or go for the most obvious/generic option (I started as a knight in Demon's souls, Dark souls 1-3 and Elden ring)
My Favorite would be the burning barbarian. It was the first build I watched, though to be honest I do play him with Enai mods. Kinda addicted to Enai's work.
I’m thinking on making a Battle Priest if Talos build, using support/melee with warrior summons, focusing a lot of Sovngarde
Love your channel so much you should build a vampire hunter build
Love the builds. Fantastic channel.
For those wanting to get to the point of the video, skip to 3:50.
Jfc you guys are long winded lmao
Lololol the podcast format brings out our inner monologging grandpa 👴
My favourite build from this channel is probably The Divine Pilgrim. If I get to pick my favourite build from another channel then I'd say The Artificer by BeliSaurus Gaming!
My favorite is the vampire night
I hate how im 2 years late to this video. I believe my character could use some improvements. Ive used to fudgemuppet guide to roleplay as a starter point as well as a proper organiser spreadsheet with my modslist attached
