Bro, you motivate me so much. I have a 3000gt Sl that I'm rebuilding and everytime I came across a difficulty I think about your journey on this car and how you continue to push on.
Good stuff, i rebuild my engine some months ago. Machine shop did crank polish, straighten it, boring with honing, decking block And head, also piston ring gap. Slapped it together without checking rod bearing tolerances, mains i checked. Been fine for 1500km at around 400-450hp
Good job. I currently have a 91 stealth. My buddy has been helping me since he has alot more experience then I do on these cars. But thank you for the videos. Thank you for keeping I real threw the ups and downs and all the mistakes and progress. Keep it up
First 100 Tbh I think your about the only person giving me motivation to keep working on my vr4. These cars just never stop testing us. I've been struggling to keep motivation to continue wrenching and trying to work out the issues it has. But Just like you I'll keep torturing myself for the love of the car lol
The Mitsubishi service maintenance rebuild manual whatever its called .. It was made for the Mitsubishi technicians or something I can fine copies of it online like you can print out Page by Page but it's hard to find the full book anymore
Awesome job but proof is in the first start up lol. I did a full rebuild on my 99 SL and 10k miles in all is well. I would rebuild engines for a living if it did not become a job.
It becomes a job when you have to deal with customers that is why I do do it on the side. That way I can pick and choose my workload. Keep the videos coming. Looking forward to the next dyno run.
I am rebuilding a 6g72 for my stealth no turbos but dulle overhead cam i am having truble finding any information on the rod bearings any help would be nice

Where did you find a forged block?
My car had it ..... Obviously the stock engine in my car blew up or something at some point and they bought a new engine sometime after 94
What compression did you decide to go with?
It should be the same as stock their stock replacement Pistons just .0015 over
