This was the first Juice WRLD song that I’ve listened to that has genuinely made me cry. I suffer with a condition called fetal alcohol syndrome, and listening to his music really helps me get through what I go through on a daily basis and I can connect with what he’s gone through it makes me feel not alone
@@rlbeskoetje Fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) is a condition that develops in a fetus when a pregnant person drinks alcohol during pregnancy. A syndrome is a group of symptoms that happen together as the result of a particular disease or abnormal condition. When someone has fetal alcohol syndrome, they’re at the most severe end of what are known as fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs).
A song where juice wrld talks about his faith and what happened before it happened is called "reminds me of the summer" it is a 11 minute song but man its alot of emotion
thanks for listening to our requests, another song to analyze in my opinion is mistake(unreleased still from juice) it’s really cool how u explain this type of hard arguments and u are doing a really good job with this type of videos,u are keeping up the message juice wanted to transmit and u help a lot of people to better understand his lyrics, not gonna lie keep it up man
4:15 I think he wanted to be free of his pain but at the same time he made the most of his situation by sharing it with us and that allowed others to understand their emotions and feelings more and for that I’m thankful
Also he made this song back in 2017 he wasn't known like now, so when he says "theyre just in love with the music" hes referencing the people he hangs out with at the time
Please don’t hold back on commentary and sharing your thoughts. If people don’t want you to stop the music, they should just listen to the music by theirselves. We are here to listen to you Stu! We love your words and wisdom. I personally also liked the longer intros more. It just feels deeper and nicer. Don’t hide your passion for music and therapy!❤️
This song was never completed as juice wrld passed away and never was able to complete it. He also made this song as his final cry for help with his drug addiction specifically xanax and percocets. Also if you listen to his music everyone of his songs are either about addiction/drugs or heartbreaks/death

@habbi_CR7 you mean "overdose"? (Idk if you're talking about a remix but that's what the real song is called) It's a pretty upbeat sing with feel underlying lyrics, not even close to dark place though
Stuart, Love the passion and connection you had to this track. I think it is a track that takes Jarad’s thoughts about his life versus his music, where he seems to genuinely be trying to unpick where he sits in relation to both. I interpret that he feels they are so interconnected at this point that they have become a trap, but it is one he both appreciates and yet hates and wants to ultimately find a way out of without damaging his growing music aspirations. This is because his pain is metaphorically speaking strangling his full creativity by funnelling his music into a narrowed vision of what it could be. Plus, it is stopping him developing as a person in his own right outside of his talent and musical ability because of his need for connection. He knows he is people pleasing his friends and audience by only showing them the side of himself that feeds what they want from him i.e. his story; but that they don’t fully appreciate him as the person beneath who is struggling and hurting and needs greater understanding. So ultimately he feels that don’t really know the full or true Jarad Anthony Higgins, just the projection that is Juice Wrld.
One thing to keep in mind with this song is it was a very early Juice release - before he really blew up. Ironically - it was on the same early EP ("Nothings Different") as his hit "All Girls are the Same" which is part of the reason he blew up. When he recorded this - he was either 18 or barely 19. It's still probably his most raw and emotional track ever released, along with Denial that's on the same EP.
I've heard that he recorded this aloneand quite early on in his career. If this is true, I don't know if it is or not, it would explain the simplistic style. Suggesting it could be him playing the guitar? Just a guess
I think that it is also very important to mention that in the original version of this song that didn't get released it included the lyrics " too much to drink, I'm feeling myself. mix that with the pills, I'm killing myself. i know that you're near but still so far. i drive up the hill and crash my car. I know that it's real, i ain't feeling myself. the pain never heals, the pain you dealt. now I'm left with a nasty scar, reminders of the love I lost." he repeats this 3 times also changing the last lyrics to "reminders of what love has caused" and "reminders of what your love has caused" then says "Can't put the pain pills down, i think out loud. the pain pills, can't put the pain pills down. she's just a distant memory, there she goes."
A question I've posed and indirectly postulated time n time over. I don't know the answer and I'm pretty sure Jarrad would not either since his music has no doubt saved more than his own. I always love your reactions you put it all on the line. Long live his music and may he rest in peace x
I would recommend denial from juice, for me lost in the dark place and denial are kinda the 2 parts of one song that shows juice's real struggling so I think that would be interesting too to react to Love your videos, keep it up
If you didnt know thats jared playing the guitar aswell. Love this song because everytime i hear it i have to put my hands together and pray for him his family and his fans. A beautiful thing hes done letting out that pain making us all come together and share it together. Juice has saved more depressed kids than anyone i know look at his mothers fund raiser

To answer your question, in "already dead" he mentions that "I'm only here by popular demand, I'm staying alive for the fans" so, yeah, I think he would still pick the pain in order to give us these masterpieces. I completely understand and respect him for it, your difficulties make you who you are and develop your character, never forget and never change that

One of the greatest problems of the "greats", is that they're just not. It's said that it's loneliest at the top because it likely is. People will hold you to their persona of you, but they don't know you. This often a part of why the "greats" are so often unknown; Even when they are known. They didn't get great by some savant-esque talent or whatever else. Well, maybe in some cases sure, I'll concede that much. However, it's often, far too often, people trying to work through their pain. Pain could just mean their lives. Granted, this could be projection and transference or something else on my part. I hated fame. I hate people claiming to know me even more. They know a part of my life. They didn't grow up with me. They might know about my work, but they don't know why I work. They might even know those that do know me, however, even there those that know me only know so much. Anyway, this is just a round about way of saying fame, even if it's just being known by one's reputation, comes at a cost. A cost of being expected to be something one is not. To my daughter I'm her dad. To those that work with me I'm a try hard. To those that listen to me I'm a leader. Who knows what randos on the internet think of me. But I am none of those things even if those things are a part of what I do. I'm just a human like everyone else. Being great to put it another way is this cost. Granted, this isn't really well thought out. Some of this just boils down to people loving to make excuses for themselves. Also granted, there's a sickness in people thriving in other people's pain. It creates barriers to changing. "Are we so in denial when we know we're not happy here? Y'all don't wanna hear me, you just wanna dance" - 'Hey Ya!' by Outkast Anyway again, I was bothered today about some songs that came out making a very simple point: Why are you listening to me and telling me to sound like I did when I was younger? I'm not that person anymore. I grew up. I grew into someone else. I'm still me, but I'm not what you think I am. And I'm not going to stay the person I was, even if it's the person we're talking about right now. We get trapped in our creations to put it another way.

Y'all don't wanna hear me, you just wanna dance" - 'Hey Ya!' by Outkast
Anyway again, I was bothered today about some songs that came out making a very simple point: Why are you listening to me and telling me to sound like I did when I was younger? I'm not that person anymore. I grew up. I grew into someone else. I'm still me, but I'm not what you think I am. And I'm not going to stay the person I was, even if it's the person we're talking about right now.
We get trapped in our creations to put it another way.
