I'VE MISSED YOU! Glad to see you're back! And holy hell trying to trick that thing out before flipping it would be a major battle of willpower. Diggin the new hq too.
The colder weather helps not wanting to do upgrades! Hopefully I can get the garage in order and clean lol. Believe it or not, it's way more messy now🤣
@@throttle_therapy LOL you know you're gonna wind up doing upgrades. it's ok though, it's only natural. and i'm pretty sure wintertime is when most of the zuma upgrades are gonna be happening. i'll keep you updated lol
You've inspired me good sir, I got broke down old moped not that long ago that I thought I'd never get working again but while searching UA-cam for the answers on what to do, more the 80% of the time I found myself back at your channel and now it's almost running, you're an awesome teacher and I'm glad to see another video of yours in my feed once again, keep up the amazing work!
comment for the taotao you need to cut the hole bigger for the carb attachment tube with the larger carb, ditch the flat carb, properly dial in the af and idle, adjust the c clip diaphragm needle on the top of the carb for better mid range. my tao tao without any mods but 5.5 rollers premium fuel and proper inflated tyres and that c clip needle adjustement pulls 70 kph on a flat, also valve lashing adjustement is essential it helped me big time and i hit 80 kph, i think my speedos off so i will do some gps runs to confirm.
Thank you! Just testing the waters on using them. I know sometimes I get quiet when I have the camera facing away, so it helps a bit there. I appreciate the honesty!!
@@throttle_therapy Ah I thought it was for non English speakers or something 😄. Smaller font maybe. Nice job anyway… With the engine lugging perhaps the rollers are too heavy? Like it’s shifting to a higher gear ratio too soon.
Tao tao’s are fun but can be extremely problematic. Definitely fix it, sell it & let it be someone else’s problem. I have a Yamaha riva razz from 1999 with almost 7000 miles on it runs perfectly every time with next to zero maintenance and I have A Tao with less then 600 miles on it and I can never get the damn thing to turn over and broke the kick trying to do so. Those Chinese scooters are built like shit and run like shit so definitely dump it and come to the world of Yamaha & Honda. It’ll be Better content & a few less headaches. 🤟

Feels good to be back!
I bought a "glixal" high performance variator from Amazon for $20 after my belt broke. It made a huge difference.
Its been a while! How is everyone? What do you think of the Thunder?
