Recently I too have been thinking about the importance of words in Islam - dhikr, repeated surahs like al-fatiha in our prayer etc, - just the very aspect that it's obligatory to say these sentences in Allah and praise Him. I think it's very interesting that scientifically it's shown that simply speaking things out loud makes an impact on what our brain registers. So we literally 'affirm' knowledge about Islam and Allah during our prayer. And to think that speaking is such a core aspect of our religion, pairing that with scientific research, has just proven a fraction of Allah SWT's wisdom about us and the way humans function. I think it's so special subhanallah.
