yep, just with a bunch of extensions. The crazy chord is just a D7(you can see it at the bottom 4 notes in the bass clef staff) then it adds the b9 #9 and #11 to become an Alt chord. Then the rest of the chord(with the exception of the jump from B to C#) is made by just stacking minor 3rds. You could also call this chord a polychord: C#dim7/D7alt(add 13), or maybe C#ø7(add 13)/D7alt(with the C#ø7 in 3rd inversion), to cut down on the number of extensions you need to write the name of. The annoying note when naming this chord as a polychord is that B and Bb, which are the respective add 13s in parentheses, but it's better than writing 6 or 7 extensions.
Is he really singing all the notes at the same time, or is he recording each vocal note individually then playing them back at the same time on a midi (for example)?
And by looking at his uploads, he records different videos and then adds them all together to do Acapella. So, I would hazard the guess that he does that for this video, but I can't say for sure.
Sounds like the best ending to a crazy jazz band playing a lit song
It's amazing how tonal a 12-note chord can be.
Now I have to learn how to play this D6/7(maj7)(b9)(9)(#9)(11)(#11)(13) chord with only 10 fingers.
arpeggiate
you forgot the #5

Absolutely outrageous!
Forgive me for I have just imploded. Carry on...
Why can’t I stop listening to this
Wait, could that context be described as a 2-5-1 structure? :P

Fuck that`s scary.
Do you really have a vocal range of D2 - Eb6, or was pitch shifting used?
doesn’t sound like pitch shifting, think we may have just stumbled upon the greatest vocal range on youtube behind ivan dorin ;)
could be varispeed in logic. People use that for out of range notes and it can sound realistic. idk about this case tho.
I believe Simon is a high tenor, so perhaps he got a friend involved for the low notes

I dont understand the question, but say it in a different way, and I might be able to try to give you an answer
