Hi mate, just wondering if you could help. I have just bought a Dahon Vitesse D8 and its in great condition (second hand) but when folding it down I have some issues with the small plastic part that keeps the wheels together locked in. Meaning when I pick the bike up while folded, it separates. any ideas as to why, how to stop that from happening and where can i get parts from, if it needed replacing? Thanks in advance
No, I think he does mean 30mph. Brits dont do kph & he also has a racing road bike… so pretty sure it’s mph. Fast for a small wheeled folder, but it is named Dahon Speed! 😄
Thanks for the review. You have convinced me I'm now going to buy one at the weekend. Thanks again...
Great info review
Thank you for long term reviews like this, also my god you have a velvety voice.
Appreciate the review. i recently got a speed d8, loving it. What brand/model are those aluminium folding pedals?
Mks FD 7s
thank you
Nice one. I am glad its up to speed

I love my folder. Can rip by plenty of racers on it, but 30mph no problem? 4m26s
alchemistry, I'm sure he meant 30kph that's about 19mph

Agreed that accent is nice to listen to. Seems like Aussie accent.
No not Aussie. English (UK).
Australian accent?
He sounds very British.
Yep, a Brit. Definetly not Aussie. ☺️
