Thank you Jake. it's always nice to show the rundown, I know you just change the timer! truly thanks for covering the test paradigm! It's nice as it explains the sequence of operations for best understanding Peace..

Thanks a lot for making such practical informative videos. Could you please help me in explaining the procedure for simulating ( manipulating) preferential trip setting in PMS. Due to the lack of awareness, we do not carry out this test. Offcourse, I understand that it may vary from different maker of PMS system, however, we will get some idea about it. Thanks a lot
Since you measured the contacts A1 and A2 of the 57X1 contactor and did not get the voltage, it meant that the timer was not working as it did not activate the 57T1 contacts. Does it mean that you did not reset the fault while troubleshooting?
hi. when you lower the load of the generator. how is that happen ?do you lowering the speed or what .what i see that all generators are connected to one main bus so all generators will work on same load
depends on the set up of your switchboard, there are some which can synch but most of the common set up the emergency generator is really isolated from the aux gen
Hi jake...good afternoon.. Can you help me... My ACB Suddenly turn off, the Reverse power trip alarm indicator lights up... What is the Cause... Thanks jake... 🙏🙏🙏
Sir,I ' m just a beginner and confusing about measuring contact 9 and A1 .It gets no voltage and thought the 57X1 is in close contact .It means The timer is working and 9 & 11 is in close contact also. But I know it' s wrong😅 . Sir could U explain the right ,plz .may be my lack of knowledge.
zero voltage across the coil because no source incoming, hence the contact from the timer always in open state, which means again, no voltage coming for the coil on 9 and A1
Mr. lecky do not give people wrong explanation regarding preferential trip functionality target point. Please check it what is actual point for that protecting.
You are doing well your job. That is good to continue to give your knowledge and help an others. I just give remark. Because you say preferential trip is use also because bus bar can not be accommodate such load in case over current is occurred. Actually only preferential trip is used to cut the power for non essential consumers 1 st, 2nd and 3rd group accordingly. That is all why use preferential trip to avoid to trip air circuit breaker (avoid black out). BUS bar is so strong and can be withstand any extremal loads ( wich is not requires any protection) will not affect any load to damage it.
astig ka talaga ka lecky...thanks sa mga good technigues in troubleshooting...God bless..
Sir thanks sa nga share na video kahit Hindi Kami nakapag barko natutu din Kami sa troubleshooting nyo God bless
Thank you for this video.. this type of step by step fault finding and drawing is what make you the best.. easy to understand.. well done lecky..
thank you for watching
Please make video on circuit diagram reading

Aloha Lecky Jake proud to be an Electrician in foreign flag before like you , always watch insights videos of you. god bless
It is really interesting. Keep it up...
Thank you for making such an informative and useful video
Very nice sir thanks for sharing such good practical knowledge
Sir i am also in Maersk line about to go as ETO for first time...and you are my inspiration thank you for explaining in details
The best teacher. Salute
thank you
Nice review.thanks for your sharing
thank you so much sir Lecky, from Viet Nam with love
Thanks for the video, very helpful sir
Thank you sir, it's a big help for me as an electrician. Keep vlogging sir and Godbless.
Thanks for your sharing
thank you for watching
Very cool, enjoy your posts
And now you are my idol sir. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Useful guide! Thanks a lot!
I just love your videos !
Very informative videos thankyou for providing such useful information

Nice explanation brother.. Very useful.. Thank you.
good to see your videos brother.✌👍👍👍👍👍
thank you
thank you for the knowledge sir jake
I wish you success in your work
thank you very much
Thank you very much, may God help you 🙏
I'm currently doing my finals for my ETO certificate, your videos has helped me a lot, keep it up!
Ohh that's nice to know. Thank you for watching
@leckyjake sir, as fresher how to understand which components or terminals are in which areas. Please explain
You are the best keep going...
Good 👍
Thanks u .
I'm fr Myanmar.
Thank you sir Jake ... I learned a lot on your videos❤️
Thanks for your videos. All of them are very useful. Pls make a video how to test EDG overspeed trip.
Sana sir mag tagalog kn pra naipapaliwanag mo ng maayos kc s totoo lng nhihirapan ako s mga sinasabi mo...pero i salute you for being insperation for the new electrician..many thanks God Bless
Keep with the good work brother, and let us know should you need our support!
Thank u for showing this video. Can u tell how can we do under/over voltage trip
Keep up the good work :)
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mr. Secretary present!🖐
😁😁😁
PLC tutorial please 🙏 💕 ☺
Thank you
thanks👍
Thank you sir👏🏻
Hi Lecky, please make a video about the Boilers
Thanks a lot
Thank sir fir this video
In this state the generator become motor because take power not generation

Good day sir, hope you doing well.. can I suggest for your next vlog how to read electrical diagram.. thanks
you can oftentimes see the reading of wiring diagrams on my troubleshooting video.
Please do a video of electrical mooring winch trouble shooting

yup, i think I've mentioned that one in the video
@@leckyjake thank you for the vids! Keep doing it, sir! Very knowledgeable! Love it
hi. when you lower the load of the generator. how is that happen ?do you lowering the speed or what .what i see that all generators are connected to one main bus so all generators will work on same load
Did you take the defective timer apart to see why it failed?
can you upload a video on procedure for insulation testing ?
SIR more Vedio po oras ETO tnx
At the end you measured the contact 9 to A1? You put the red cable for instance on 9 and the black one on A2? Why A2 and not A1?
Because both are just the same cable, if you are convinient with A1 and A2 then there is no difference
is it possible to synchronise Auxiliary Generator and emergency generator together? If not why?
depends on the set up of your switchboard, there are some which can synch but most of the common set up the emergency generator is really isolated from the aux gen
@@leckyjake for synchronising, what things must be same in between these two type generators?

Can we have your videos on how check high and low frequency and high and low voltage at MSB pls
Hi jake...good afternoon..
Can you help me... My ACB Suddenly turn off, the Reverse power trip alarm indicator lights up... What is the Cause...
Thanks jake... 🙏🙏🙏
sir when to do the testing, once a month or a week?
Sir Lecky Jake, in case no available spare timer on board. What is the remedy to solve the problem. Thank you.
we like these videos!!!....shouldnt the second timer have picked up and tripped the breaker?
thanks for watching, we just manipulated the overloading just on the limit that the 1st trip will activate.
I did that too lods
👍
Boss lecky both generator in manual
Galing mo naman idol paano ba mag apply jan
How Reverse power test is carried out in alternator?
sir how to activate exactly preferential trip is there any simulation button ? please answer
What actions to take if reverse power trip does not active during test?
you just have to check your settings
sir what is the cause of power reverse trip.?
It seems those timers don't last very long

Sir, If we measure at 11 and 9 and we get 115v it means that the timer contact is in open contact?
No
