F1 needs to sort this out. Pole is pole. Whether it's Friday qualifying or Saturday qualifying. Bottas starts the race in P1 but he didn't set pole. Pole is not second on Saturday or the result of a sprint race. Keep it simple!

Pole is whoever starts 1st on the grid for Sunday’s race and that’s how it’s been for a long time - I don’t think it’s the best rule but that is how it works
I hope Bottas can convert this pole to a win tom. He has a knack for getting a poor start then once in midfield has trouble getting back up to the front. At the least hope he can do to max what Alonso did to Hamilton when Ocon won.

Same thing happened to Bottas after winning the 2021 Italian GP sprint race. It didn't count as a pole position and Max inherited the pole position.
