When this film was released in 2010, many viewers thought the ending was too optimistic. Not even 15 years have passed and today Poland is even more beautiful than in the last scenes.

Both films tell how much Poland suffered during the war

Już niedługo zaplacimy za poprawnosc polityczna, już potomkowie upa o to zadbają. Ukradli nam powiedzenie "walczymy za nas i z was" . Spijcie dalej, słodkich snów, bo już wkrótce będzie bezsennosc i hologramy

Bo swiat ma sraczke
Aż tak to przeszkadza? Wystarczy zmienić kanał.
Nie wiem jakiej jesteś narodowości i jak ci wyprano mózg, ile bzdur naopowiadano o moim kraju, ile nienawiści wpojono do serca, ale wiedz jedno: nigdy mój kraj nie był agresorem ani prowodyrem. Twój i mój kraj mają takie władze i takich przywódców jakich mają, ale my Polacy, jako naród mamy wolne umysły i możemy myśleć samodzielnie.
Przez przeszło 120 lat byliśmy pod rosyjskim zaborem, od 1918-1939 r. złapaliśmy trochę oddechu, by znów w 1945 r znaleźć się pod okupacją( wbrew pozorom, to chyba najwłaściwsze słowo na określenie tamtej sytuacji) radziecką, i może jesteśmy naiwni tak jak zawsze, ale dziś nikt nie pyta: dlaczego w moim, wolnym od komuny i socjalizmu kraju na każdym kroku słyszę język rosyjski. Nikt nie propaguje nienawiści( ogólnie, wiadomo, że zawsze znajdą się odstępstwa od normy, ale są to pojedyncze przypadki) i ksenofobii, nie nawołuje do wojny.
Otwierając granice ludziom uciekający przed wojną, otworzyliśmy nie tylko serca ale i domy. W Polsce nie ma obozów dla uchodźców.
Nie chcesz znać prawdy i historii( my wiemy jak działa propaganda prorosyjska i jakie bzdury trafiają do młodych chłonnych umysłów), to otwórz oczy na dzisiejszą sytuację. Polacy wiedzą, że ludność Ukrainy jest podzielona na pro Rosyjską i pro Europejską, że obowiązują dwa języki: ukraiński( z moich rozmów z uchodźcami wynika, że bardziej rozpowszechniony na wsiach) i rosyjski. Przywódcy obu krajów mogliby pomyśleć o podziale Ukrainy tak, jak Czechosłowacy-dziś mamy Czechy i Słowację. Każdy z tych krajów prowadzi odrębną politykę i żyją w zgodzie.
Tego pokoju życzę wszystkim narodom, bo nie ma gorszego zła niż wojna i nienawiść, a historia... to już historia. Choć serce boli, a umysł krzyczy:
N I E! czasami trzeba wybaczyć, by nienawiść nie zżerała nas od środka i nie zatrówała umysłu.

I recommend the film directed by Stieven Spilberg, "Schindler's List". The film is powerful. If you decide to see it, I advise you to stock up on a large supply of tissues.
