Our man is moving fast dayumm. Anyway, i love your reactions. Keep it up bro! Edit: Fun fact After Mei-Kiana fight, every new Mei battlesuit outfit has high collar, probably to hide the scar on her neck
Kiana - One for All : Save everybody at the cost of herself Mei - All for One : Sacrifice everything for that one person there's no real or right answer on who's right or wrong but just a bunch of unfortunate circumstances that led to this conclusion.
"Thunder Reborn - Honkai Operation Center Chapter 2" would explain a lot of why Mei made those decisions (major story spoilers btw). But dont worry, neither of them are the bad guy, she did save Kianas life after all but comes with a price.
Shattered Samsara's Rubia is still the best one for me, that shit made me tear up everytime. Venti's VA, Paimons's VA, etc made a cover of it and I see them in youtube everytime.

So essentially, the battle between Kiana and Mei is the wildest breakup in the history of gaming (yes, they were lovers) Kiana is basically trying to fix the world all by herself because of something she feels guilty about, effectively killing herself in the process (like, really killing herself: by the time the battle happens, she has lost the sense of taste and takes enough pills to make an elephant go to sleep). Mei has enough of this and she was offered a chance to save her but for that she has to join what's more or less a terrorist group whose big plan is basically "okay, we exhausted every other options so let's just nuke the world and the surviving people will have natural nuclear resistance" (it sounds dumb but the leader is 50k years old, he *really* has tried everything he could think of). While Mei isn't really okay with the big plan, it's a way for the world to not need anymore sacrifice on Kiana's part so she goes along with it (hence the sinner quote and the "the world means nothing to me without you") Naturally, when Mei announces she's leaving for the terrorist group, Kiana doesn't agree and thus Mei has to knock her out before leaving. There is more, much more to this but that's very basically the gist of it.

Once you play the game you will know everything but no one was bad in this scene. Honestly, no one is bad only honkai. They all just have different ways of fighting honkai, one is more cruel than the other. Everyone has their own reasons.
Bronya is no longer does all that and no longer kills people. She was an orphant that was trained to kill. It all happened before the events of the game, thought. Seele once was kidnapped, Bronya went saving her and she saved her, but killed a lot in process and was covered in their blood when came to Seele. However, Seele was in fear and saw her imaginary evil double ("Dark Seele" part, you will understand more in game) and called her "a monster!", but at same moment Bronya coming to save Seele and thought that Seele was saying "monster!" to her. So she promised never kill people anymore.
I dont agree with most comments that say chapters 1 - 4 is slow. I love thr early chapters as much as the later ones but i have to admit the last few chapters are super exciting
People are just too impatient. The early chapters are for gameplay tutorials and worldbuilding and start fun and bubbly to make the later reveals all the more impactful. If it started right away with Lament of the Fallen everyone would be like "this is so cool but wtf is happening!". A good story needs time to get going.

I wonder if Sxmmy already realized that Kiana's Herrscher of the Void form resembles the Sustainer of Heavenly Principle at the start of Genshin, they also both have the same CN/JP Va, as well as the same powers of void. Even the shape of her void powers cubes and star diamonds.
Short summary; No one is evil. Both of them are fighting on what they believe. Kiana - fights alone to atone pasts sin (Herrscher of Void rampage. - from my view, she wanted to fight until death, so that her power cant harm others - her body houses several gem/cores, among them is Gem of Conquest which is "originally own" by Mei (Kiana takes the gem from Mei while in HoV). Also those gem are corrupting Kiana Mei - she was given a "solution" on how to save (or slow down) Kiana corruption by the organization she join after this fight. - when she become Herrscher of Thunder, the Gem of Conquest dissipate from Kiana body and new one created inside of Mei, thus slowing down Kiana corruption. - in my opinion, Mei joined World Serpent because of their knowledge on the gem/cores and their advance technology. She also can react faster to new honkai-related than Kiana, and deal with it before Kiana can join the fight and using her power.
Game starts very slowly, first few chapters are very different to chapters after 8-10ths (there now ~26 chapters). Game is pretty old now, and they did almost no changes to first chapters, so they are feeling much older than current chapters. On the other hand - you have access to Post-Honkai Odyssey 2 and Chapter 26 - while they is new, so you can check it out, so you can have sneak peak on what to expect in the future.
As someone who has played Honkai for 600 days, and read a lot of the comics (and diving on wikis on occasion), I can assure you the trailers and shorts tell you like 20% of the story, even the game itself is not enought to fully grasp the whole thing, I'd say like 50%. But althought this might seem disencouraging for new players, let me tell ya: ITS FUCKING WORTH IT
In the game, story picks up at chapter 5 but still slow. The crazy part of the story starts around chapter 6 and the first animation short is at chapter 8. So if you play Honkai, if you are one of the people who don't want slow story, you need to bear with the early chapters cause those chapter is for building the characters and the setting of the game. Once you reach the crazy part, its hard to stop playing tho cause you will want to know what will happen next. Also remember that this game was released in 2016, so the early chapters are dated but it gets better as you continue through the story.
There is so much more to Honkai Impact than the game itself, Mihoyo created a huge backstory on the game as well as the characters, they also have online manga which i highly recommend reading, my personal favorite being Second Eruption but that's not recommended until you finish chapter 8. The whole story of Honkai is very deep and well written. Good luck on your journey, new Captain o7
In Lament of The Fallen Kiana didn't exactly got nerfed but once you can control a herrscher's power its not as strong as before it was controlled, but im not really sure.
Hmmm maybe you need to watch the "theater of thunder" to slightly understand what's goin on between mei and kiana, and what their relationships, it hits different when you know the whole stories and watch this short movies again, btw thanks for reacting to this 🤗
Kiana and Mei fighting there is basically "Naruto and Sasuke" situation. Mei want to appear bad and evil, so Kiana will not follow her and stop harming herself. Also, Kiana feels no pain (or anything at all) at that time, so she is fine there.
but don't you worry. at some point Kiana gets tired of all the sacrifice thingy and became an absolutely badass - that will be the end of your suffering.
As for the power disparity in Lament of the Fallen- there's a few reasons this fight went how it did. -Kiana had just recently absorbed the energy from that bomb in the Meteoric Salvation short, and between that and the three Herrscher Cores inside her, her body was starting to fail due to Honkai Energy Poisoning. It was also starting to erode her control over the powers and persona of the Herrscher of the Void somewhat. The effects of her failing body are best seen when she exerts herself too much at 16:13 - those pink lines are generally indicative of Honkai, and on a person generally means some degree of oversaturation. Most people would zombify, but Valkyries are selected for their high adaptability and Kiana probably has the highest adaptability of anyone currently alive. Also, note the yellow Herrscher eye. Generally not a good sign. -Mei has been a Herrscher longer (in total, it's complicated), and doesn't have to fight against a Herrscher Persona for access to her powers. So she's got more practice using them. -They just came off of another fight in-game where it was Herrscher Mei vs Normal Kiana, so Kiana is already somewhat injured. Mei depowered just before the cutscene because she didn't want to overdo it and potentially kill Kiana. So really, a full-power fight under these circumstances was going to go this way.

oh okay good luck with the story it s honestly so good i binge played the story while on spring break and finished until upto the newest chapter released which is open world... it was definitely anjourneu is what i can say so im looking forward to seeing what you think of it
You know there is a playlist of all of the animations and trailers of honkai in "Order" instead of watching them one by one cause it will be messy and confusing for you to understand which is which part
Also, her Herrscher of Thunder form's Spring Thunder skin is prob my fav skin in the game aside from HoS' It's literally the Raiden Boss in genshin, they have both the purple theme, the arm guard, the huge hands, as well as the huge ass sword.
So the mechs and stuff are honkai powered because while honkai is the bad guy beasts its also an energy source and is either comparable to nuclear energy or is more powerful.
I'll say again what I say in all Honkai reaction videos: Lament of the Fallen may be harsh on the feels but it pales in comparison to the actual Kiana vs Mei fight in game that preceeds the cinematic. It's pure emotional brutality, amplified by the fact that you're focusing on the fight. Like, Jesus...
I thought I was prepared going into that fight because I've already been spoiled and I was so wrong. That fight was hard for me because of the tears blurring my vision XD Chapter 17 is the chapter that made me take a week break from the game because of how depressed it made me feel
Kiana is a strong person, she will even sacrifice herself to save the world Mei will save Kiana, cause she is her friend, her best friend, even has to sacrifice the world
Kiana wants to save the world, at any cost. Mei wants to save Kiana, at any cost. For Kiana that cost includes sacrificing herself. For Mei that cost includes joining up with an "evil" faction. Kiana can't let Mei leave and join them, Mei can't let Kiana keep overexerting herself. Therefore, they come into conflict here.
Would be nice if you can react to version preview, like "Unequaled, unrivaled", "Rosemary Nocturne" or "Aurelia Invicta". Most of them are lit af. But I appreciate any Honkai content.
You will spend money trust me lol, there's alot of ppl that said they're not spending money or looked at me like I was crazy for spending money on a mobile game but they ended up doing the same 🤗 I am a dolphin in the game not a whale

You know there is a playlist of all of the animations and trailers of honkai in "Order" instead of watching them one by one cause it will be messy and confusing for you to understand which is which part
Bruh, Raiden Mei is literally RAIDEN Shogun + (M)akoto + (Ei)
Also, her Herrscher of Thunder form's Spring Thunder skin is prob my fav skin in the game aside from HoS' It's literally the Raiden Boss in genshin, they have both the purple theme, the arm guard, the huge hands, as well as the huge ass sword.
So the mechs and stuff are honkai powered because while honkai is the bad guy beasts its also an energy source and is either comparable to nuclear energy or is more powerful.
Watch all the character trailers next! Like Dea Anchora's and Herrscher of Sentience's!!!
I kno DooDoo trailer gonna rock his mind lol, everybody that react to that trailer be mind blown
@@iamkallenkaslana6033 it's the reason why I even started playing this game
I'll say again what I say in all Honkai reaction videos: Lament of the Fallen may be harsh on the feels but it pales in comparison to the actual Kiana vs Mei fight in game that preceeds the cinematic. It's pure emotional brutality, amplified by the fact that you're focusing on the fight. Like, Jesus...
I thought I was prepared going into that fight because I've already been spoiled and I was so wrong. That fight was hard for me because of the tears blurring my vision XD
Chapter 17 is the chapter that made me take a week break from the game because of how depressed it made me feel
7:28 that's Herrscher of Sentience "Fu Hua". Or as Honkai players call her Senti
For context for "uta hime no uta" kiana is not at 100%. That's why she got her ass handed to her, plus she to emotionally attached to mei to hurt her.
You forgot the Elysian Realm trailer and Some Character Trailers 3.9-5.4 👌
facts:
the lament of the fallen animation is reference or inspired from naruto vs sasuke scene when they were kids fighting on rooftop in hospital
Oh for some basic context, check out the Honkai Chronicles playlist , if you have time. It will help you a lot.
Kiana is a strong person, she will even sacrifice herself to save the world
Mei will save Kiana, cause she is her friend, her best friend, even has to sacrifice the world
Kiana wants to save the world, at any cost.
If you want to know the sumary of honkai Impact until the Mei chapter, tru to watch Honkai Impact in a nutshell
Would be nice if you can react to version preview, like "Unequaled, unrivaled", "Rosemary Nocturne" or "Aurelia Invicta". Most of them are lit af. But I appreciate any Honkai content.
Also Kallen lived in the past 500 years ago, before kiana, so they are not entirely similar(if you disregard them looking alike)
I guess the only way to really undertsand these animations is to play the game. Sooooooooo........
you know what to do right?
And where is The video in The thumbnail?
Its so sad that you skip cyberangel thats where bronya got the power of herrscher of reason
You definitely gotta play the game to u dear stand everything that happens.
Please do
pro tip: on pc Honkai is best played with a gamepad, so pick one up before you start
You will spend money trust me lol, there's alot of ppl that said they're not spending money or looked at me like I was crazy for spending money on a mobile game but they ended up doing the same 🤗 I am a dolphin in the game not a whale
watch honkai verse-honkai chronicles kiana kaslana- and honkai chronicles mei raiden
im hearing a billion questions but have u considered playing the game? u've watched most of it out of order which screws with the experience so please, do urself a favor and play the game
Just focus on the story. You can do whatever later. Who knows, I might help you out.
React to character gameplay trailers.
Honkai is the only bad guy
You are officially spoiled. Turn back from comment section to avoid further spoilers.
