I think it would be fine to give context if they aren't planning to play the game, but if they are planning to actually get into the game, then probably don't want to be spoiling them with the context of these animations.

Considering the recent chapters, even the bad guy everyone 100% agrees is the bad guy is not as clear cut as the villain as he used to be anymore. This game makes you ask questions sometimes, damn.

"I'm emotional.. and I don't know the characters." I watched almost all the cut scenes too before I started playing the game and had the same reaction. It's what sucked me in. A 3 minute cinematic that could bring tears to my eyes without even understanding the context. The imagery and music itself tells such a story that you can almost see it but you want to know more. I have seen so many reaction videos to Thunders Over Nagazora where the person watching did not know the story, but they would say things like, "I'm not sure what's happening but I know they don't want to hurt each other." It is because of the masterful imagery they show. IE, when Kiana uses her herrscher powers to cage Mei - but none of these daggers actually land a hit - and if you look at the cage they're quite literally cradling Mei. It tells the viewer what is happening without telling them. Kiana does not want to hurt Mei but she feels she has no choice. Mihoyo truly does pour the heart of the story into these scenes to make you feel it. Also, just to add on regarding your expectations for the game. It is quite competitive and very easy to suck all your money away to remain in ranks. The combat itself is a lot of fun once you get an understanding on how it works - but it can be completely overwhelming at first and hard to follow. I'd recommend not giving up at the start as I so often wanted to. The real fun starts once you can acquire a fully geared Valkyrie and her support (which is not an easy task for a free to play) and start competing in abyss or Elysian Realm. Take your time and move at your own pace. Enjoy the ride.
Regarding the competitive nature of the game: yes but also not really. Yes it is very pay to win when you want to do rankings but the strongest part of the game is the story mode, and that is completely free to play, especially with how it's been nerfed. After the first few chapters they even gave up on requiring you to use your own units in the fights and just provide players with all the tools they need to pass through (apart from the Sea of Quanta chapters, but that got nerfed to hell so no biggie there either). Then again, I'm just a lazy bum who barely ever bothers with Abyss or Memorial Arena and just sticks to story and events so my opinion may not have much merit lol.

I've been waiting for you guys to finish this. Story time, you already know about the first video, the second one, called Amazing Grace, is the cutscene from chapter 11EX when Kiana learned to keep Sirin at bay, next, Meteoric Salvation, Kiana found out that an evil organization, World Serpent, was trying to detonate a Honkai bomb in a large city but she saved it, the short one, it was two characters, Durandal, the strongest Valkyrie of Schicksal, vs the leader of World Serpent, Kevin Kaslana who happens to be the strongest warrior of the Previous Era, the next one, Lament of the Fallen, Kiana's best friend, Mei, decided to become a Herrscher again to save Kiana and part of the deal was for her to join World Serpent and Kiana didn't want her to, the next one, Reawakening, was the start of what I call the Fu Hua arc as part of her becomes a Herrscher, the Herrscher of Sentience or Senti for short, the next one, Shattered Samsara, was the full reveal of Senti and she fights Kiana, Fu Hua sacrificed herself to seal Senti away but Kiana, tired of people making sacrifices, said no and brought her back, next one, Everlasting Flames, Kiana fought the Herrscher of Domination and got a new Herrscher form, Herrscher of Flamescion, and finally, Thus Spoke Apocalypse, is Otto fulfilling his goal to save his long dead love, Kallen and the reason why she looks like Kiana is because Kiana is her descendant, the reason he's able to create those different weapons is through what's called The Void Archives, he can recreate certain weapons called Divine Keys, and the whole religion thing is because Schicksal is a religious institution or at least it started out as one. FYI, they just released a new video revealing a new battlesuit for Durandal, Paletinus Equinox and it reveals something in regards to the story

42:40 Ok so Otto’s powers are pretty easy to explain (as far as Honkai goes at least). 50,00 years back they made weapons called “Divine Keys”. These were super-powered weapons capable of many amazing things. Otto has the first key known as “Void Archives” (the little orange cube) which, beyond being a massive library of knowledge (like a literal library), is capable of making less-durable replicas of other Devine Keys. In order he creates: The Judgment of Shahamash: Divine Key of Destruction, A fiery great sword with enough power to blow up a city or knock a god down a couple pegs. Abyss Flower: Devine Key of Death, ironically has healing abilities when wielded by someone worthy, also capable of creating massive trees and the such. Water’s Edge: A sword capable of making copies of itself. Has a martial art paired to it that massively in increases it’s power. Oath of Judah: Divine Key of Binding, a weapon capable of sealing ones powers, as well as deploying many chains and spears, while also being an extremely heavy, blunt object you can throw at people. A lot of other cool stuff there too, like an orb that manipulates gravity (Star of Eden) or a shapeless object that can read people’s minds and create illusions (Edge of Taixuan).
Character crash course: Kevin: white haired guy, fire sword, 50,000 year old super soldier. Fu hua: phoenix girl, rebirth themes, also a 50,000 year old super soldier. Otto: blonde dude, 500 years old, leader of shickshal (basically the Catholic Church, but they fight monsters) Kallen: older kiana lookalike, ottos childhood friend, died 500 years ago. Durandal: blonde girl with the lance, best valkyrie of shickshal. Kiana: the main character. Mei: kiana’s lover, also the lightning girl who beat her up in one of the shorts. Bronya: Russian loli, robot bike girl. Seele: bronya’s lover with a split personality. The dark personality isn’t evil, just self centered.
Just a friendly reminder, Honkai Impact 3rd is a free mobile game first released way back in 2016. It was more of action hack & slash game akin to Devil May Cry & Bayonetta. Its more combat focused very gud depth & very story driven. Very lore & text heavy & not much of open world/exploration like genshin (although honkai does have couple of open world maps). Taper ur expectation coz this game was made back in 2016 when Mihoyo was a small dev with little to no money. So, for the first few chapters of the story mode it does shows it's age. It does get better as u go along tho, way better. Coming from genshin, you guys should see Honkai as the predecessor of Genshin, the game where a small Dev Mihoyo gamble everything & due to Honkai's success gave birth to such a juggernaut that is Genshin. One can see why such an old game like Honkai still receives so much loves from mihoyo, coz they owe much of their future success to this game. Thats why imo, Honkai still the game to go for player lookin for more competitive end game contents, coz theres so much content for serious player to dive into. Boss fights in this game are just insane. Have fun, cant wait for u guys to dive into world of Honkai.
Duddd.. Shattered Samsara with Rubia as the OST. That's the first time I've teared up to a game especially a game about waifus and boobas. And then, Everlasting Flams with Moon Halo as the OST made me cried for a game for the first time, especially that scene when Kiana saw Himeko besides her.... I love this game so much man...
True Final Lesson and Shattered Samsara always make me cry. Final lesson with Himeko dying. Samsara with the suffering that Fu Hua has to endure for centuries.
As someone who plays this game since day 1 and absolutely loves it, i'm pretty happy to hear what you guys say after 48:21, you're going to be mind blown with the lore aspect of it, especially after you start learning the connections between the past and present part of the story and the at least for now subtle links between honkai and genshin, also get ready for Honkai Star Rail!
I can assure you the story is just as good as these trailers, it has a slow start and most people dont get 'hooked' on it till chapter 9 (theres like 30 chapters and they get a bit longer in the later ones so idk maybe 3-10 hours of story before chapter 9 ish) and with full context and understanding of these characters and the story and the stakes and all that? You'll either cry, get emotional or tear up for pretty much all of these, whether its sad or happy tears or a mix of both most people just get touched and thats why i usually tell people that honkai has the best story in any game i've ever played hands down.

Community is also super supportive with ingame builds and stuff, if you ask the high level players they'll explain things to you in detail. Just a warning though, the game is similar to Genshin but is more extensive with information so if you have any plans to seriously get into it, don't rely on information from your stream chat. Ask lots of questions ingame or in Discord on your own time so you don't get overwhelmed

I picked this game up around three weeks ago, having already watched all the animations up to and including Everlasting Flames. I completed chapter 25, which leads into Everlasting Flames just yesterday and have been going around binging reactions ever since. What an insane ride this game has been, and it's not even over.
Otto really was built different hahah. His determination and devotion to the Holy Maid, Kallen Kaslana drove him for 500 years. Plus he's got Void Archives, which allows him to create copies of Divine Keys, similar to Unlimited Blade Works from Fate.
You should react to the trailers too! It has the gameplay so you can see how the characters work. The ones I recommend is: *Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience trailer (aka "Official v4.6: Unequaled, Unrivaled Trailer)* and *"v4.2 Rosemary Nocturne Trailer"* The OST is AMAZING!
Just here to comment that the last animated film was Otto and Kallen they were childhood friends and Kallen actually has a lover named Yae Sakura, when Sakura died, Kallen also decided that there's no meaning on her life that's why you see her surrendering herself to the Church. And Otto from the future was trying to change the past of the Kallen who died 500 years ago

In fact she was executed because she stole a honkai cube-relic (the one Otto was ussing to experiment on people). She flew with it and reached Yae's village, the place got corrupted, and so on.

we're always happy to welcome new captains and for your question about co-op it is there but its much more limited then Genshin as Honkai is much more focused on the story and plays a bit like a visual novel, also if you want a bit more context for some of the characters and events in the story there are several Honkai manga's that cover that additional information. the manga isn't required to understand or enjoy the story but it does give alot more clarity and context as to what exactly is happening at times

last animation explanation. the white haired woman earlier is kallen, the person otto loves, the man in the animation. Kallen died 500 years ago in the game's timeline, the reason being that she's organization. Schicksal considered Kallen a treason and sentenced him to execution. Not wanting his loved ones to be executed, Otto deploys a monster Honkai in the place of punishment giving Kallen a chance to escape. Seeing that many people will suffer from the attacks of the honkai monsters, Kallen chooses to save people rather than using the chaos to escape which ends with Kallen being killed by one of the attacking honkai. Feeling guilty for his actions, Otto tries to bring Kallen back to life, from making Kallen clones, trying to take advantage of the Herrscher of Death's power that can manipulate souls in the hope that Kallen's soul can be revived and even being a villain for 500 years just to revive Kallen. until finally he found the answer to his problem, namely by creating a new world in the imaginary tree with a time line 500 years ago before Kallen died by sacrificing his own life so as to create a new world with a different future, namely the world where Kallen is still alive.
If you guys plan on starting the game, just note that the beginning is a bit slow, but I promise, once you get past chapter 8, you're in for the best ride of your life.

In Lament of the Fallen…there is no bad guy there. It’s a battle between someone who is willing to throw their own life away, and someone who wishes for the person to live on,

Just letting you know, coop is actually really great for getting some gear and good rewards in honkai. So, the both of you will be able to grind together in the coop modes.
Me before when I watched Honkai animations without any context = hyped Me after I've played the game and then watched the animations = sad crying or happy crying This game is such a gem. It became one of my most favorite games because of how well it made me care for the characters.

The ones that look like short movies and have a theme song are the cinematics that play at the end of a given chapter, the shorter ones with barely any dialogue are just promotional videos to hype upcoming chapters and/or events
How to tell people new to honkai that there are 3 diferent groups of people who fight between them but no one of them is actually "bad", but just has different visions. The actual evil is the honkai and all of them fight against it.
This is what happens when a game is the favorite child of the company, even if the other child (Genshin) makes more money. Honkai is spoiled as it should be
imho, genshin became possible because of the successful profits from hi3. gi was like a gamble because of its dev budget, but man...1B USD in 6mos. each has their own special treatment. hi3 cutscenes are full anime with some cgi, while gi cutscenes uses the in-game engine graphics with improved prerendered visuals. hi3 & gi the best! i love them both!

As one of those people who have experienced almost all cutscenes in game, I like to see other's reaction about them. I've watched both parts spending like 2 hours and it was nice to re-watch the cutscenes.
Actually if you look at it closely, though it’s overshadowed by all the happy stuff, the characters in genshin have very tragic or sad pasts as well. Kazuha Lost his clan, lost his friend, and was declared a fugitive because of Ei’s selfishness regarding eternity. Xiao spent 500 years isolating himself because of the loss of his fellow Yaksha and it’s driven him to a sort of “wanting peace” state. Eula was ostracized and shunned by people simply for being from an aristocratic family despite her trying to prove she opposes her family. Ei saw her sister die in her arms, witnessed the darkest time in inazuma’s history, her kitsune friends died, and she was left all alone to deal with all her baggage. We’re just in the “Moving on phase” of things for the characters in genshin. We see them nearing the end of their journey as one person and moving forward and evolving. If Genshin focused on the character’s stories, like instead of involving the traveler in their story quest they just do a flashback story of how the characters’ past people would ball their eyes out for Kazuha, Xiao, Eula, Raiden, Zhongli etc.
I wanted to let you know because I saw one comment that got this part of the story wrong. The last clip is with Kallen and Otto they were childhood friends and kallen was the only one that believed in Otto and they both promised each other to change the world. Sadly though the Empire began stealing from the poor and made higher taxes because they lost a war and Kallen began stealing from the rich and giving to the poor . Eventually she got caught and executed . FRom the on Otto became obssessed with ''reviving'' her and did many cruel things which made him the villain of the game ( the game has multiple so called villains but they too have their pasts and motives) so in the video he made a new past for her.

You don't know how hard I tried to not to feel emotional for Otto. Literally the only reason why I feel sad is because Kallen is there. Personally I think young Otto is an absolute angel. But the way he turned out into that abomination ruining lives and doing shady stuff for like 500 years just to save a girl who doesn't even like him back (and is probably gay for yae, literally oone of yae's voice lines when you touch her is "I have already given my heart to Kallen"). So no matter how sad his story is I have absolutely no remorse for him >:(

If You guys only knew the context and growth behind these cut scenes I think both of you would have lost your minds. As a player you become completely enveloped in the story, it truly stirs all kinds of emotions inside of you.
We captains are very welcoming for any new players to join on the fun, these cutscenes have more impact with context, AND YOU SURE ASF DONT WANNA MISS OUT ON THE RIDE-
"Who is the bad guy?" That's a complicated answer. There are a few 'bad' guys technically, but most of them are more grey than black or white. The story is truly incredible, though the first few chapters are a bit slow. The game has fantastic combat and various modes, but it's definitely the story that will get you hooked. I would try to give context but I don't think my keyboard could survive the thousand page essay required to explain everything.
Is hard to undertand about the part in where Kiana rescue Fu Hua, but both are fighting in the memory of Fu Hua, and Fu Hua has live around 52,000 years and feel so sad that she was betrayed and all her friend that she meet already die! And the Herrsch seems to be able to corrupted Fu Hua by memory and all her failure, and to defeat the Herrsch inside Fu Hua need to fight in another dimension in where Fu Hua hide inside her memory, Fu Hua still alive
This Spoke Apocalypse the last video, might be hard to understand but in simple way, the girl is called Kallen and she is ancestor of Kiana and she die by Honkai and there's no way for Otto Apocalypse to revive Kallen but there's a possible way to change the past, in where Kallen survive but in exchange Otto will die! Otto live 500 years with the hope of finding some form to revive Kallen.

Considering the recent chapters, even the bad guy everyone 100% agrees is the bad guy is not as clear cut as the villain as he used to be anymore. This game makes you ask questions sometimes, damn.

Even tho I'm Honkai-veteran, those animations are still huge impact on my emotions and life-goals :')
"I'm emotional.. and I don't know the characters." I watched almost all the cut scenes too before I started playing the game and had the same reaction. It's what sucked me in. A 3 minute cinematic that could bring tears to my eyes without even understanding the context. The imagery and music itself tells such a story that you can almost see it but you want to know more. I have seen so many reaction videos to Thunders Over Nagazora where the person watching did not know the story, but they would say things like, "I'm not sure what's happening but I know they don't want to hurt each other." It is because of the masterful imagery they show. IE, when Kiana uses her herrscher powers to cage Mei - but none of these daggers actually land a hit - and if you look at the cage they're quite literally cradling Mei. It tells the viewer what is happening without telling them. Kiana does not want to hurt Mei but she feels she has no choice. Mihoyo truly does pour the heart of the story into these scenes to make you feel it.
Also, just to add on regarding your expectations for the game. It is quite competitive and very easy to suck all your money away to remain in ranks. The combat itself is a lot of fun once you get an understanding on how it works - but it can be completely overwhelming at first and hard to follow. I'd recommend not giving up at the start as I so often wanted to. The real fun starts once you can acquire a fully geared Valkyrie and her support (which is not an easy task for a free to play) and start competing in abyss or Elysian Realm. Take your time and move at your own pace. Enjoy the ride.
Regarding the competitive nature of the game: yes but also not really. Yes it is very pay to win when you want to do rankings but the strongest part of the game is the story mode, and that is completely free to play, especially with how it's been nerfed. After the first few chapters they even gave up on requiring you to use your own units in the fights and just provide players with all the tools they need to pass through (apart from the Sea of Quanta chapters, but that got nerfed to hell so no biggie there either).
Then again, I'm just a lazy bum who barely ever bothers with Abyss or Memorial Arena and just sticks to story and events so my opinion may not have much merit lol.
Chapter 5 is when it starts getting good and those are cutscenes in the game

I've been waiting for you guys to finish this. Story time, you already know about the first video, the second one, called Amazing Grace, is the cutscene from chapter 11EX when Kiana learned to keep Sirin at bay, next, Meteoric Salvation, Kiana found out that an evil organization, World Serpent, was trying to detonate a Honkai bomb in a large city but she saved it, the short one, it was two characters, Durandal, the strongest Valkyrie of Schicksal, vs the leader of World Serpent, Kevin Kaslana who happens to be the strongest warrior of the Previous Era, the next one, Lament of the Fallen, Kiana's best friend, Mei, decided to become a Herrscher again to save Kiana and part of the deal was for her to join World Serpent and Kiana didn't want her to, the next one, Reawakening, was the start of what I call the Fu Hua arc as part of her becomes a Herrscher, the Herrscher of Sentience or Senti for short, the next one, Shattered Samsara, was the full reveal of Senti and she fights Kiana, Fu Hua sacrificed herself to seal Senti away but Kiana, tired of people making sacrifices, said no and brought her back, next one, Everlasting Flames, Kiana fought the Herrscher of Domination and got a new Herrscher form, Herrscher of Flamescion, and finally, Thus Spoke Apocalypse, is Otto fulfilling his goal to save his long dead love, Kallen and the reason why she looks like Kiana is because Kiana is her descendant, the reason he's able to create those different weapons is through what's called The Void Archives, he can recreate certain weapons called Divine Keys, and the whole religion thing is because Schicksal is a religious institution or at least it started out as one. FYI, they just released a new video revealing a new battlesuit for Durandal, Paletinus Equinox and it reveals something in regards to the story

These were super-powered weapons capable of many amazing things. Otto has the first key known as “Void Archives” (the little orange cube) which, beyond being a massive library of knowledge (like a literal library), is capable of making less-durable replicas of other Devine Keys. In order he creates:
The Judgment of Shahamash: Divine Key of Destruction, A fiery great sword with enough power to blow up a city or knock a god down a couple pegs.
Abyss Flower: Devine Key of Death, ironically has healing abilities when wielded by someone worthy, also capable of creating massive trees and the such.
Water’s Edge: A sword capable of making copies of itself. Has a martial art paired to it that massively in increases it’s power.
Oath of Judah: Divine Key of Binding, a weapon capable of sealing ones powers, as well as deploying many chains and spears, while also being an extremely heavy, blunt object you can throw at people.
A lot of other cool stuff there too, like an orb that manipulates gravity (Star of Eden) or a shapeless object that can read people’s minds and create illusions (Edge of Taixuan).

Just a friendly reminder, Honkai Impact 3rd is a free mobile game first released way back in 2016. It was more of action hack & slash game akin to Devil May Cry & Bayonetta. Its more combat focused very gud depth & very story driven. Very lore & text heavy & not much of open world/exploration like genshin (although honkai does have couple of open world maps).
Taper ur expectation coz this game was made back in 2016 when Mihoyo was a small dev with little to no money. So, for the first few chapters of the story mode it does shows it's age. It does get better as u go along tho, way better.
Coming from genshin, you guys should see Honkai as the predecessor of Genshin, the game where a small Dev Mihoyo gamble everything & due to Honkai's success gave birth to such a juggernaut that is Genshin.
One can see why such an old game like Honkai still receives so much loves from mihoyo, coz they owe much of their future success to this game. Thats why imo, Honkai still the game to go for player lookin for more competitive end game contents, coz theres so much content for serious player to dive into. Boss fights in this game are just insane.

I can assure you the story is just as good as these trailers, it has a slow start and most people dont get 'hooked' on it till chapter 9 (theres like 30 chapters and they get a bit longer in the later ones so idk maybe 3-10 hours of story before chapter 9 ish) and with full context and understanding of these characters and the story and the stakes and all that? You'll either cry, get emotional or tear up for pretty much all of these, whether its sad or happy tears or a mix of both most people just get touched and thats why i usually tell people that honkai has the best story in any game i've ever played hands down.

Community is also super supportive with ingame builds and stuff, if you ask the high level players they'll explain things to you in detail. Just a warning though, the game is similar to Genshin but is more extensive with information so if you have any plans to seriously get into it, don't rely on information from your stream chat. Ask lots of questions ingame or in Discord on your own time so you don't get overwhelmed

I picked this game up around three weeks ago, having already watched all the animations up to and including Everlasting Flames. I completed chapter 25, which leads into Everlasting Flames just yesterday and have been going around binging reactions ever since.
What an insane ride this game has been, and it's not even over.
Otto really was built different hahah. His determination and devotion to the Holy Maid, Kallen Kaslana drove him for 500 years.
Plus he's got Void Archives, which allows him to create copies of Divine Keys, similar to Unlimited Blade Works from Fate.
You should react to the trailers too! It has the gameplay so you can see how the characters work. The ones I recommend is:

we're always happy to welcome new captains and for your question about co-op it is there but its much more limited then Genshin as Honkai is much more focused on the story and plays a bit like a visual novel, also if you want a bit more context for some of the characters and events in the story there are several Honkai manga's that cover that additional information. the manga isn't required to understand or enjoy the story but it does give alot more clarity and context as to what exactly is happening at times

last animation explanation. the white haired woman earlier is kallen, the person otto loves, the man in the animation. Kallen died 500 years ago in the game's timeline, the reason being that she's organization. Schicksal considered Kallen a treason and sentenced him to execution. Not wanting his loved ones to be executed, Otto deploys a monster Honkai in the place of punishment giving Kallen a chance to escape. Seeing that many people will suffer from the attacks of the honkai monsters, Kallen chooses to save people rather than using the chaos to escape which ends with Kallen being killed by one of the attacking honkai. Feeling guilty for his actions, Otto tries to bring Kallen back to life, from making Kallen clones, trying to take advantage of the Herrscher of Death's power that can manipulate souls in the hope that Kallen's soul can be revived and even being a villain for 500 years just to revive Kallen. until finally he found the answer to his problem, namely by creating a new world in the imaginary tree with a time line 500 years ago before Kallen died by sacrificing his own life so as to create a new world with a different future, namely the world where Kallen is still alive.
If you guys plan on starting the game, just note that the beginning is a bit slow, but I promise, once you get past chapter 8, you're in for the best ride of your life.

imho, genshin became possible because of the successful profits from hi3. gi was like a gamble because of its dev budget, but man...1B USD in 6mos. each has their own special treatment. hi3 cutscenes are full anime with some cgi, while gi cutscenes uses the in-game engine graphics with improved prerendered visuals. hi3 & gi the best! i love them both!

As one of those people who have experienced almost all cutscenes in game, I like to see other's reaction about them. I've watched both parts spending like 2 hours and it was nice to re-watch the cutscenes.
Actually if you look at it closely, though it’s overshadowed by all the happy stuff, the characters in genshin have very tragic or sad pasts as well.
Kazuha Lost his clan, lost his friend, and was declared a fugitive because of Ei’s selfishness regarding eternity. Xiao spent 500 years isolating himself because of the loss of his fellow Yaksha and it’s driven him to a sort of “wanting peace” state. Eula was ostracized and shunned by people simply for being from an aristocratic family despite her trying to prove she opposes her family. Ei saw her sister die in her arms, witnessed the darkest time in inazuma’s history, her kitsune friends died, and she was left all alone to deal with all her baggage.
We’re just in the “Moving on phase” of things for the characters in genshin. We see them nearing the end of their journey as one person and moving forward and evolving.
If Genshin focused on the character’s stories, like instead of involving the traveler in their story quest they just do a flashback story of how the characters’ past people would ball their eyes out for Kazuha, Xiao, Eula, Raiden, Zhongli etc.
I wanted to let you know because I saw one comment that got this part of the story wrong. The last clip is with Kallen and Otto they were childhood friends and kallen was the only one that believed in Otto and they both promised each other to change the world. Sadly though the Empire began stealing from the poor and made higher taxes because they lost a war and Kallen began stealing from the rich and giving to the poor . Eventually she got caught and executed . FRom the on Otto became obssessed with ''reviving'' her and did many cruel things which made him the villain of the game ( the game has multiple so called villains but they too have their pasts and motives) so in the video he made a new past for her.

What a rollercoaster of emotions..
You don't know how hard I tried to not to feel emotional for Otto. Literally the only reason why I feel sad is because Kallen is there. Personally I think young Otto is an absolute angel. But the way he turned out into that abomination ruining lives and doing shady stuff for like 500 years just to save a girl who doesn't even like him back (and is probably gay for yae, literally oone of yae's voice lines when you touch her is "I have already given my heart to Kallen"). So no matter how sad his story is I have absolutely no remorse for him >:(

If You guys only knew the context and growth behind these cut scenes I think both of you would have lost your minds. As a player you become completely enveloped in the story, it truly stirs all kinds of emotions inside of you.
We captains are very welcoming for any new players to join on the fun, these cutscenes have more impact with context, AND YOU SURE ASF DONT WANNA MISS OUT ON THE RIDE-

you did miss one animation, right before "thus spoke apocalypse" called "Pre-revelation", it gives you alot of context for what's going on

That's a complicated answer. There are a few 'bad' guys technically, but most of them are more grey than black or white. The story is truly incredible, though the first few chapters are a bit slow. The game has fantastic combat and various modes, but it's definitely the story that will get you hooked. I would try to give context but I don't think my keyboard could survive the thousand page essay required to explain everything.
Is hard to undertand about the part in where Kiana rescue Fu Hua, but both are fighting in the memory of Fu Hua, and Fu Hua has live around 52,000 years and feel so sad that she was betrayed and all her friend that she meet already die! And the Herrsch seems to be able to corrupted Fu Hua by memory and all her failure, and to defeat the Herrsch inside Fu Hua need to fight in another dimension in where Fu Hua hide inside her memory, Fu Hua still alive
I think you guys would love the lore and story in game. Especially the mangas!

This Spoke Apocalypse the last video, might be hard to understand but in simple way, the girl is called Kallen and she is ancestor of Kiana and she die by Honkai and there's no way for Otto Apocalypse to revive Kallen but there's a possible way to change the past, in where Kallen survive but in exchange Otto will die! Otto live 500 years with the hope of finding some form to revive Kallen.
