“And thats why i am buying the mets signing yamamoto, ohtani, bellinger, woodruff, and trading for aaron judge and ronald acuna”
😂😂😂😂😂 In your wildest dreams! There ain't no way in Hell the Braves would trade Ronald Acuńa Jr. to the Mets! You would have offer your entire farm system and even that would not be enough. Get real dude.
It’s a joke dude relax
@@donaldmackerer9032clearly you don’t understand these Jokes that’s the funniest part😂
@@donaldmackerer9032i like how the only thing you find unreasonable about that is the braves trading acuna
There’s only so much money in the world 😂
Something that I have noticed is that Marc is doing really well is holding back his Mets bias lately, it kinda makes the content more enjoyable
or maybe its just cuz the mets suck idk
13:31 it sneaks in a bit
Mets gonna Met. The more things change the more things stay the same.
Did anyone notice that he had multiple missed calls from his mom💀
Im a Yankees fan and I would love to see soto in the pinstripes but i dont want them to give up the farm for him.
i would, the organization has been pretty bad the past 10 or so years at developing MLB talent and if we can get soto for the next decade at a reasonable price then i would take that any day
@@stateIine exactly, Yankees are no where near a World Series contender. Even if they just keep their team the same they not going to win. So why not Risk it for Juan Soto
Completely agree. I am not a Yankee fan but the Yanks need that big bat. This trade will cost a couple big name prospects but it’s worth it.
@@cwebed-stuy9951bcuz Gerrit Cole and Aaron Judge aren't getting any younger...
@b1oodyeyes what I meant is I don't want them to give up top tier prospects for him. If they can get Soto for a couple of mid-level prospects without giving up the Martian or Volpe I'm all in on them getting Soto. I also think they need to concentrate on beefing up the pitching core because I don't trust any of the starters after Cole and the bullpen needs to be improved as well
AYYYY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BUYING MINE!!!!
🤨
Bro congrats dawg he loves yours
W WHOS ON FIRST
Buddy got them right too

When is that Soto video coming out?
3:24 Aye, that's my take. I think another thing to add is thay E-Rod was signed BY Baltimore as an international FA in 2010 before being traded to Boston, so there is a connection there.
Hot take: the tigers have a good offseason by bolstering their rotation making themselves the favorite for the 2024 AL central and flipping their script for years to come
P.S. termini rhymes with Germany
As a sox fan I have the Tigers winning the AL Central this year
i think we should auction the al central
Hot Take: Blue Jays win the off season by acquiring Shohei Ohtani and one of Soto or Bellinger, then win the AL East with 100+ wins
Oh boy… here we go again 🙄
When Yamamoto goes to the yanks imma be so excited watching Mets fans riot
“And that is why Juan Soto, Ohtani, and any other notable free agent will be a New York Met come Opening Day.” 😭
Again🙄
Yeah so lame, every video is the same top comment. “This is why the Mets….” so played out
@@Faded_36 to be fair, Mark did start the meme, after all. 🫠
@@DinnerBells yeah true that.. its all good we are all fans 😎
Hot take Ha-Seong Kim becomes the best player on the padres not for any specific skill but the fact that he has gotten better every year
E-Rod was with the Orioles, but was traded in the Andrew Miller deal, sending E-Rod to Boston when he was still a prospect.
As a Giants fan, neither Chapman nor Snell make *that* much sense for us. Farhan has stated multiple times that we need to get younger and more athletic. Chapman is still pretty athletic but he's slowly getting up there in age and is only projected to be a marginal upgrade over JD Davis for a lot more money next year. Since we need to "break even" spending "smartly" is unfortunately a concern. Chapman would also block Casey Schmitt from getting reps at 3B. Snell maybe makes a little more sense but even his style of pitching is pretty antithetical to the Giants current philosophy of low walk rates and a lot of ground balls (Webb, Cobb, etc.) and how his game will age is a bit of a concern. Maybe that philosophy will change a bit with the new pitching coaches. Better fits would be Yamamoto due to his age and command, Lee in CF since he'll be cheaper and younger than Bellinger, and of course Shohei at DH. Getting all three might be a bit of wishful thinking but I think people are kind of underselling how much money we have to work with a lot of our bad contracts coming off the books after the 2024 season.
Also, not sure why you'd put the Cubs way over the Giants as suitors for Ohtani? They're basically in the same position but the Cubs have a farm that's a bit better and play in a weaker division (which doesn't matter since the NL WC is a joke).
Are you waiting until like spring training to release the Soto trade video????
Thanks for the answer on my hot take on Bauer, it’s a take that just makes sense in my mind, now rather that it happens or not we see but the possibilities are there.
I don't like "um actually'ing" people but Bauer isn't from AZ he was raised in the LA area. I think he also has/had residence in Houston to avoid paying taxes.
Thank you marc ive been waiting and this is amazing
Hot take: ERA is the most valuable metric when judging a pitcher’s past performance. Admittedly, other metrics like FIP and strikeouts are more reliable predictors of _future_ success, but the obsession in the analytics community with FIP and strikeouts has caused us to poorly evaluate player’s performance. It’s not complicated: if you’re not giving up runs, you’re succeeding.
I hate the sabermetrics stats some of them are excellent such as spin rate and OPS However stats such as WAR are better for when the players are negotiating a new contract. The reason I hate WAR as a stat is because it's not easily calculated due to the fact that there is no set formula to calculate it.
I don't entirely disagree with you, but I think RA/9 would be better for that purpose. ERA has a slight but entirely subjective factor to account for defense - removing anything that the official scorekeeper deemed an error. If you believe that a pitcher adjusts how they pitch based on their defense, then the entirety of it should be included, and capture all runs that they allow to score. If you think a pitcher should be evaluated independently of the defense behind them, you need a stronger adjustment than just what ERA provides.
Well duh that's not a hot take, obviously to judge a pitcher's past performance, u just a combination of era and innings and ur pretty much set. For future performances, u should just know better by now to solely use era to predict future stats. Robbie ray, alek manoah, even sandy to a degree. There's no 1 stat to reliably evaluate future success, otherwise teams would've figured it out already. U just need to look at their trends as a whole to even somewhat reliably predict these things
@@craigkatz1018”WAR = (Batting Runs + Base Running Runs +Fielding Runs + Positional Adjustment + League Adjustment +Replacement Runs) / (Runs Per Win)”
The "Your uncle at Thanksgiving" and Bob analogy is gold 😂
Bauer will most likely sign with the Reds. He has a good relationship with management there and the fans in Cincinnati still like him.
Yankees are getting soto
My predictions. Juan Soto won't be traded to the New York Yankees, nor the Toronto Blue Jays. (I'm a Blue Jays fan). I'm worried about the Seattle Mariners in the Soto market. I got Yankees getting Bellinger, Blue Jays surprising everyone with winning Ohtani and the Dodgers getting both Glasnow and Arozarena during the Winter Meetings. The Cubs getting Corbin Burnes.
Hopefully the mariners get bellinger I don't want him on the Yankees
Hot take: The modern game has a fundamental break in it. MLB Pitchers #1 goal is currently to strike out hitters. MLB Hitters don’t want to strike out, but they have accepted that they will strike out a lot as long it means their slugging goes up (cause that’s how they tend to be paid). The league needs to find a way to get MLB hitters and pitchers to truly be in complete opposition again if it wants the game to grow.
I agree with you also I think the managers are leaning too much on the sabermetric stats such as WAR. I would rather they go back to relying on their gut instinct and not what the metrics say. It became really bad when the Joba rules became common place. Now instead of letting the pitchers pitch they baby them and God forbid they should have to face the same guy for a third time in the lineup. I don't like the new ibb rule. I just hope they don't institute the robo umps although that would be an improvement over laz diaz
Hot take: the Mariners tricked everyone with claiming Ohtani wasn’t part of their plans and sign him to a 5 year deal with player options up to 10 years
Noti gang
Brewers definitely need to unload to build a core that can hit since they are known for building quality pitching and defense
TRADE: Jackson Merrill (SD) for Randy Arozerena (TB)
Orioles sign both E-Rod and Hader, becoming a true World Series contender in 2024.
10:49
I was waiting for a hot take for my team!
That was my take!! Go giants!!
@@WhosOnFirst23love the take and go Giants!!!!!!!
The Yankees don’t have the prospects that the Padres want. It’s either the Mariners or Blue Jays.
Damn…
Hot take (or more dream): Baltimore city approves development favorable to Angelos around Camden yards. With the newfound funds, Mike Elias convinces Angelos to sign most of their young players to long term, team friendly, Atlanta Braves style deals. Orioles become competitive for the next decade.
I think imma buy this one
Bring the quizzes back!!!!
Hot take: The Rangers trade for one of Shane Bieber, Tyler Glasnow, Corbin Burnes, or Edward Cabrera in exchange for a package that includes top prospect Justin Foscue.
Another reason the Tigers wouldn’t be interested in trading Skubal is the fact he was the best pitcher in baseball since coming back from TJ. 2.00 FIP in his 80 innings since returning with over 100 K’s
Padres not having the money is totally inaccurate. Unfortunately, with Seidler’s passing, we just don’t know if new ownership will spend like he did.
Hot take. Mets trade veintos,Batty, and other young/vet playersfor pitching/of. Such as Santandar, Arozarena, Cease. As Stearns gets guys he likes into the building. Mets will have 13+ new players on the 26
Hot Take: Dbacks have a sneaky off-season getting a good pitcher in the rotation like Shane Bieber or Corbin Burnes
Mets trade alonso and sign rhys hoskins, your favorite player, to a one year deal, buy or sell!😂
Good thumbnail!!
After acquiring Kirby Yates
Texas gets Hader, resign Gumby, and get a reliable DH if they don’t keep Garver
Vid starts at 1:45
Since the Padres just traded Soto.
The Padres should try to trade for Christian Yelich. The package would include Jake Cronenworth and a couple of decent prospects since Yeli doesn’t have the value he used to. Yeli has 4 years left on his contract and Cronenworth has 6 left.
LFG welcome back
Boy that shota take has worked out amazing
PS he has been better than Yamamoto
Hot Take: Rangers sign Shota Imanaga and Josh Hader solidifying themselves as the favorites to rule the AL West for years to come.
Great take but not really a hot take. The Rangers appear to be the favorite Josh Hader landing spot and Imanaga is also a possibility.
@@generallukeproductions alr then how about the Rangers sign Yoshinubu Yamamoto and Hader or jordan hicks
@@MrPolitical2, too hot 😂
@@generallukeproductions bruh
Anyone here after the Soto trade?
Why don’t you do a Playoff recap? Look back at your predictions?
10:29 just watch Marc, we will average 20K+ next year if we continue our momentum
As opposed to the guy saying Tigers trade Skubal. I think the Tigers make a move for 1 big name this off season and it's Matt Chapman. The Tigers metrics show a desperate need at 3rd base and with the Twins declaring they don't want to spend this offseason, and Cleveland never spending anyway, Detroit is in the best position to be the best team in the worst division in baseball.
Hot takes; an NL West team lands Blake Snell, the Tigers continue to make moves in the off season and win the division in 2024, the Mets sign Ohtani AND Yamamoto
Jon Heyman breaks the Ohtani signing and says “Hohei Ohtani appears headed to the Yankees” Then turns out going to the Dodgers
11:10 The 🐐, Who's On First.
Hot take: Phillies acquire Josh Hader and ERod to solidify there pitching staff and they finish close but 2nd to the braves
Hot take the dodgers will trade for Randy Arozarena and Tyler Glasnow from the rays.
So the Mariners just got Cole Phillips and Jackson Kowar for Jarred Kelenic, Evan White and Marco Gonzalez. So this is my hot take here. The Mariners trade away Jackson Kowar or Cole Phillips or both to get Isaac Paredes or Randy Arozarena or get both Randy and Paredes. If this happens, Mariners knew what they were doing with Eugino trade.
1,2 is this on ???
Cardinals pounce on an Emanuel Clase trade and also get Triston Mckenzie in the same deal
Mariners unloads Kelenic and Teoscar Hernandez, so they need someone to patrol that outfield. Soto to the M's confirmed!
I personally think once ohtani signs w/ another team the angels will look to reset n unload trout n Rendon to rebuild the team
Do you plan on doing a reaction to your 2023 preseason predictions?
buy or sell is back let’s goooooo
Red Sox will sign Yamamoto and trade Alex Verdugo + prospects to the White Sox for Dylan Cease
The Texas Rangers will sign at least 2 bullpen arms, and trade for one of the best closers in baseball whether it is david bednar, emmanuel clase, or devin williams
The Mets sign Shota Imanaga and Lucas Giolito
Hot take. Mariners trade Raleigh at the deadline to bring up Ford.
Who’s here after Yanks got Soto?!!
Phillies make no big singings but they instead trade for a young pitcher to add to the rotation or bullpen
My take: Braves trade AJ Smith Shawver and Vaughn Grissom for Dylan Cease
No video about the cardinals signings? Or anything?
10:49
Hot Take: Mariners acquire Yoshinobu Yamomoto and trade Logan Gilbert for depth and the big bat they're missing, and become the AL west champs
something i always find odd about the mlb is how good players get traded for just prospects, obviously there’s the potential and times where teams have gotten fleeced. but if im not giving up someone who’s like a lock to be a solid mlb player i could care less about giving up middling players for Soto or trout or ohtani. like even if they turn out to be good players so what, if you’re trading for a proven talent i dont really get it. i would never trade top prospects for meh players like how that may happen sometimes but, if im getting a star i could care less
i understand there is no pick trading and baseball is a team rather than individual type game, but like i’d trade for a soto type in a heartbeat if all i was giving up was luis garcia and some other randoms 💀
Well it's better than the alternative of letting someone walk for nothing. The padres need to cut payroll, which obviously means ur not gonna resign him, and on a 1 year rental ur not gonna get too much back for him (tho still good amount). It's still better to have a 10% chance to get a good player back then nothing (also the padres specifically know this, cough*james shields*cough)
The Yankees sign Shohei Ohtani for 3 years $210 million and trade or DFA Giancarlo Stanton
💀, sorry bro but its not happening, ohtani ain’t signing anything less than 10 years
Jukebox Joints by ASAP Rocky is the best song of all time buy or sell
Mike Trout will never be the same player even when healthy, 7+ WAR days are behind him.
Jung Hoo Lee will be a better add than Cody Bellinger
Buy
Red Sox sign Teoscar Hernandez and trade for an Ace level pitcher instead of signing one.
Hot take: Jordan lawler is a top 10 shortstop by the end of this upcoming seasom
the thumbnail is accurate now
I’m not a Mets fan but I definitely think they will bounce back and win at least 80 games. I just think that losing Diaz before the season started was such a punch in the dick that messed with everyone’s heads and set the tone with a bunch of injuries throughout the season
Also starting the season without Verlander and Quintana, when the rest of the rotation pretty much derailed the season right from the get go
0:38 he really missed calls from his mom TWICE
Bauer probably signs in NL west
Well, what just happened?
Diamondbacks trade for Randy Arozarena and Tyler Glasnow with a trade centered around Lawler and McCarthy
Going to take more than that
Hot take: Pirates trading away Reynolds will happen by the end of the year.
Hot take:🔥 Houston Astros make a play for Juan Soto and finally patch up their outfield by moving Kyle Tucker to Center Field
Hear me out. Giants sign Ohtani and Matt Chapman. They don't sign Snell but do trade for Dylan Cease
So wait, you've been using aura for a few months and you still get so many calls from unknown numbers? Does it actually work?
No bad bellinger we no want him
Cardinals go out on one more pitcher and sign rodriquez from the tigers and some bullpen
Hot take: bellinger signs a big deal with a contender next season then flops. He had too high a babip to stay consistant.
Other hot take: Snell does the same but on a bigger deal and has an injury mixed in there
Also sotos gonna flourish with the lineup protection of judge and volpe on base if he gets traded to ny
Final hot take: the mets sign both shoto iminaga and yoshonobu yamamoto and get past at least the nlds
Red Sox and Yankees swap Verdugo and Torres in some form
Please do a video about Jackson Chourio after he officially signs his extension
Buy or Sell: Giants ditch Ohtani for starting pitchers like Yamamoto or Snell and pick up out field or infield help.
Who’s here after Soto’s a Yankee?
Royce Lewis will finish in the top 10 MVP voting
incoming unfunny mets comments!
I think they're hilariously foolish!😂
Who keeps saying Juan Soto is 25 years old he’s actually 27
Yankees get soto Yamamoto and Jung hoo lee. You heard it here first!
