Jeannineterran do you remember being paid in cash ? Big firms had to employ security then a huge payroll staff to count the wages and place it into packets ! Then you have the problems of paying money into your bank ! If you only accept cash then you are making yourself a target when going to pay into the bank !

Define cashless. I've not used cash for years. It's a pain in the butt. Much easier to tap & go. I also have XRP which I store offline. I can pay for anything, anywhere in the world with finality in seconds at virtually zeo cost. I don't need a bank.
I have no issue with using an API to quickly report my digital transactions & pay my taxes. XRP is a global deflationary currency so...
If my government bans crypto payments, I'll move.

Yes, will be the greatest inflation hider in banking and cash ever invented. It WILL eventually bring in "negative rates." Not at first, they will do few free giveaways to make it seem wonderful. The negative rates will be like bank charges, not interest, that you can't avoid. Because you will no longer be able to take your balance out in cash.

The people is the power! If you refuse to use the service of these controlling coffee shops, banks and stop watching open tv (they alienate the public) together we are stronger and these companies relies on the public money to keep going.
I had a cache of old £50 notes which I found were not current currency. I tried to cash them in at a bank. I have found out that new regulations will only let me redeem only £300 of old money every 2 years, which must be paid into my bank account, so heavily regulated. I can send it to The Bank of England, with all kinds of rules & restrictions and of course, proof of where I got the cash from. I am furious that these rules/laws have been introduced without anyone knowing. Treating us all like criminals and basically stealing our money!!!
I have not heard many complaining about the money laundering rules introduced under Boris Johnson. Most have no clue just how bad they are. It is totalitarian control.

I have never been in a Starbucks. I only drink coffee, but the hassle of getting a black coffee with no sugar puts me off. I get asked if I want cream with that, a glass of water, and numerous other options. I just want a cup of black coffee, a cup, not a pot with a lid, not a huge bucket, just a cup. I would rather wait until I get home and keep my money.

@@chriss7930 Agree with you Chris, people's priorities have changed over the years. It would be a real treat for me to have a coffee and cake or meal out. I saved and saved to get a mortgage, borrowed as much as I possibly could and worked every hour of overtime possible. Whether that was right or wrong is another question. 🤔

Yes, people don't really seem to appreciate how our manufacturing industry has been so devastated that today 80% of our economy is services. It's professionals like lawyers and accountants running rings around the government (e.g human rights lawyers,) having taxpayer cash wasted on them.

A man walks into Starbucks, asks for a coffee. He is then asked to pay. He then asks to pay in cash. the CASHier refuses. He then asks how long has he got to pay for the coffee. The CASHier says he should pay now. He explains that he does not have any plastic on him. The CASHier says he cannot have his coffee. He asks if there is a time limit on when he has to pay. The CASHier says he can go home and get some plastic, then come back and pay. The man politely objects on the grounds that his cup of coffee will be stone cold by the time he comes back. The CASHier says he can have a fresh cup of coffee when he returns. The man politely asks the CASHier what is going to happen to the existing cup of coffee sitting on the counter. The CASHier tells him it will be flushed down the sink. The man politely objects on the grounds that this is a complete waste of resources. The CASHier apologises but maintains that it will be gotten rid of. At this point the man gives up and goes next door to McDonalds.

Cool seeing Farage give time of day for questions by my age group hosts. He's got the courage to say what I think many people know deep down but might feel under the whip of fear from e.g. loosing their job, their partner, their "friends" or family, but if you ever fear losing anyone, how can that be a loving relationship? Farage strikes me as someone who's got a stronger relationship with his conscience than he has with fear, and as a result, is doing what many presidents and leaders have done in the past who recognise a mile away that money is the main issue, as it has the appearance of being a tool of trade, when it is blatantly a tool of control, one that was put into place by the sword. Look how many presidents in USA for example have died because of trying to take down the banks? JFK being the most recent example. The only way we win is if we're willing to let go of our comforts that western lifestyle offers us and unmuzzle our truth block masks by first admitting to ourselves that the truth is, the way we are currently living is unacceptable e.g. plastic use, chemical uses, dna ultering techniques, ignorance to the slums and starving around the world etc. and why on earth are we not stopping what's happening in Libya or Gaza? One idea comes to mind that it's because it's not in the interest of the certain jewish families who were and are still likely in control of the banks we have today

I agree with Nigel, all banks should be investigated. When my old brother died, he left his money (£90,000.00) to me to be shared with my younger brother living in London. I gave all my older brothers bank information, cards, birth & death certificates and his “Last Will & Testament” (LW&T) to the bank, so I expected my brother’s money to be transferred into my account straight away, but they said I would have to see the sheriffs court, (S.C.) to fill in a “Conformation Form” to get my brothers money. The bank’s excuse was that the S.C. demanded this form, but the sheriff’s court said this was a lie. The S.C. know nothing about my brother, it was the bank who told them, which they always get the blame. This “Conformation Form” cost me £150. Why pay for a LW&T when the banks don’t abide to the LW&T? This sounds like a rip-off (easy money) between the banks & Government.
Cancel their licenses, expel from country and refuse to pay debts. Create new State Banks, with appropriate controls.

Can't agree on buying gold, bought some 20 years ago and it was a hassle to sell it, lots of scummy bullion dealers trying to undercut me so they can sell it on for a profit. Eventually found a good dealer who gave me closer to what it was worth but no doubt still sold it on for a smaller profit. Steer clear of gold!
