620 just stood. Good men and women who want the same and have worked their guts out campaigning, taking abuse, all while holding down jobs mostly but all the potential vote stayed at home. Starmer got less votes than they did in 2019. 4.4 million votes for Reform 5 seats, 9.5 million votes for labour.

Only if the elected government support the change. Whether you supported Brexit or not you have to admit that a pro-remain government was never going to manage it properly. Parliament are elected to make our decisions for us as experts, so referendums should be used for approval not to cop out of making decisions.

You vote out of ECHR then Labour create their own British bill which enshrines the same protections into domestic law. While the far left will argue through the highest of courts that "Precedence" has been set regarding the following of ECHR law meaning leaving changes nothing...
A referendum on Immigration itself would likely leave less wiggle room for the political elite...

@@Sal19732 The Lib Dem’s with 11% of the vote gained 73 seats. The Reform UK Party had 13% of the vote managed to gain just 5 seats. As far as the Labour Party is concerned 80% of the voting Public did not vote for them which is why the ‘first past the post’ system is totally unfair compared with Proportional Representation. The membership of the REFORM UK Party has incidentally doubled since Kier Starmer became Prime Minister. Sadly we still face several years HARD LABOUR which we just do not deserve!
