Is your Yamaha Adventure Pro difficult to take in & out? Here are some tips.

- Sometimes the AP can be difficult to get out of the base. First, make sure it’s unlocked if your model is equipped with a locking dock. Second, firmly depress the release tab. Once the tablet is out, liberally lube the release tab and contact points. It’ll make it much easier to get in and out.

Some good tips for sure. I made sure to lube up (it helps for sure) mine and the pins as well, don't want to worry about corrosion.
I am pleased with my 2023 Rmax4 limited. The Magelin is the only item I hate. Yamaha should go back to the drawing board and redesign it. Then issue it to e every current owner free of charge!
Hey there you mentioned a key of some sort to unlock the unit. I bought 22 YXK LE used and it did not come with that.
The RMAX cradles have a locking feature. I believe the keys are universal but double check with your dealer.
Grease door pegs to makes opening it easier
What size SD card do I get
Any micro sd should work
Make sure to use a dry lube and not a wd-40 type of wet lube that will attract dirt
The dry lube wasn’t effective, so we switched to a silicone or wd40. If you could have any dirt build up a mild compressed air should clean most of it out.
It’s just a pain, my has never came out easily.
What a terrible design by Yamaha. It shouldn’t be that hard. My release broke when I had it locked into place miss aligned
Yea we definitely feel some of your frustration. If you misalign the unit into the dock it can be a bear to get back out. As great as these machines are they do have a few things to improve on, this being one of them.
Thanks for the video. Terrible design. Someone at Yamaha must have had their head up you know where when they designed the locking mechanism on this.
I broke mine all to heck, had to put new screws in the base plate. Peice of junk
