I worked for a road construction company in TX They used 7 axle dump trucks live bottom belt trailer n so on to run asphalt these trucks aren't hauling that much most of my loads with asphalt usually 25-26 ton 3 drop axles n stinger axle down when going to jobsites with asphalt
Those are some weird looking dump trucks 😂 i mean really where is this located at wow you want see any such trucks looking like that body wise or drop axles
When the load in the bed of the truck exceeds the max weight for two(2) axles to carry, they drop down the 3rd axle to provide the needed extra weight support capacity.
Looks like a rookie crew, laying down too fast for the finisher to do a proper level laying of the asphalt. Road crew not doing any raking out of material that is shovel-tossed onto under-paved patches before the tandem-roller compacts the asphalt.
That's not even the the same height as the other side,someone messed up on the height to lay down & they're not even paving by the curbside like they're supposed to be doing & whoever did the other side of the street did alot better than this crew did on this other side & there not going to fix the mistake that they made 🤔

Probably about 21.5. 70,000 lbs is the limit without special permitting

Why didn't they lay asphalt all the way out to the edge of the concrete stormwater channel? Looks sloppy.
