A big thanks for the video. I think you covered everything I was hoping for and more. I probably should have been doing more thinking about this topic a couple months ago as I'm planning to build a 5* epic ship this weekend and only have the reputation for Romulan and Federation and only enough credits for Federation so kind of locked in on the Ent-D. I think I would actually prefer the Klingon ship but am about 14B short on rep but have close to enough credits. I followed your advice on getting the Sanctus for my 5* rare and have absolutely no regrets on that ship. I will probably go Klingon for a 2nd ship but that is going to take a while to build up the reputation first.
@@user-theangryryno I only have about 800K of Rom credits so I think I would need 60M lat to make up the difference. I'm probably closer to getting the Klingon ship by grinding rep for the next month. I did a little test yesterday and I think I can reasonably add 500M rep per day so maybe I'll go that way.
@mikes1689 Yeah that's a lot of credits to make-up for. Rep-ing up is doable. Especially with all the reputation claims in the ex-borg and section 31 stores. And forget about missions.
Could you make a part 2 too this video, would like info to whether the ship firing patterns were a factor. Aswell, would you use your cube more in comparison to the D'Deridex if you had not made the Sigma upgrades or had more lvl's on the Cube beam artifact.
@davey5080 I will try to fit a firing pattern video in. Even with the sigma upgrades my D'deridex is still more powerful than my cube. So, no I would not be using the cube more.
@minecraftmike6850 I would say the same applies for the level 50s. Yes, the ship ability for the Tribune is very good, assuming you can get the burning. I wouldn't sleep on the Hegh'ta and her critical chance increase. I think that choice comes down to who is the higher tier officer, Torres or Neelix? Though I am still trying to get a Tribune with my away team credits and not a Hagh'ta.
@nutznchocolates56 Your shields recharge after every battle so being as shield focused as an Enterprise is, is not that beneficial for hostile grinding. But the best way to check is by looking at the battle-log. If your shields drop a lot grinding hostiles then maybe you do need those shields. More often than not players do not need that much shielding grinding reds.
The D'Deridex is a beautiful and mystical starship. :)

@mikes1689 Depends on how short you are for the D'Derridex and how much latinum you have.

Should I get the tribute over the other two for the same reasons here?
Tribune has the best ability of the 50 epics (increased shots), so the choice is fairly clear there if you're going to get it.
Tribune is a totally different case, its skill was/is a bit too OP which has only been compounded with the changes in the game.

@John_Mooper I still say the g4 epics are skippable. Too easy to get from 50 to 53 and the g5 uncommons are so much cheaper to get.
Shields absorb 80% of incoming damage? But that's not good?
You rarely lose all the shield, so it only plays a part in a small case of incidents.
