I am the kid who held up the sign at 4:05 to challenge Kirk Hammett. I didn’t get to go onstage, but both James and Kirk both saw my sign at the end of Night 1 and smiled at me. I had the frickin’ TIME OF MY LIFE at Rockville!!!

Metallica's The Memory Remains is still one of those rock songs that kept on playing on MTV and every radio stations not just in the US, but all over the world.
These song really rock the radio airwaves during the release of Reload, and you literally heard these song everywhere in the world. I remember hearing these song from every household from my neighborhood. Memory Remains is just brilliantly written. If i had to choose one song from the album, id pick this song .
I’d have to say this song, Fuel, and The Unforgiven II are my top 3 from this album

I remember this a few months back, this was in my hometown and my dad had bought me tickets to this concert. We were right on the rails and ended up getting two guitar picks and we were really happy about it. That moment truly was a memory that will remain.

I got goosebumps doing this at Rockville, I got goosebumps seeing it again. It's impossible not to get goosebumps from a live version of this song.
Full body goosebumps hearing and feeling the crowd roar the lyrics in the beginning. It was on my bucket list.

Been a fan of Metallica forever it seems. It's been an awesome ride growing older with them. I'm in my 40s now and always loved their songs coming on MTV and the radio. I have most of their music at this point. the S&M concert is the most amazing with Metallica backed up by an amazing symphony that perfectly blended both styles of music showing that it can be done and is a match made in Heaven.
This was the first metallica song I had ever listened.

OMG THANK YOU. I live 100 miles from DIS and I looked forward to attending the ENTIRE weekend at Rockville. I could not wait to see all the bands especially STAIND since Aaron jumped back from county......Deftones I have wanted to see since 90's. Sooooooooo many great bands...I had my hotel room, ticket.....Ended up NOT being able to go due to family member needing emergency heart surgery. I am still crushed but my mother comes first. I CAN say I HAVE seen Metallica LIVE on two occasions so I at least saw them at Monsters of Rock in 1988 and in early 2000's
