Vapor Sealing the Floor - Dream Garage Project

On the dream garage project I have a downstairs for rebuilding cars, gardening, woodworking, and other repair projects. These projects will generate fumes and odors which I don't want upstairs. Upstairs will be an office and family room / man cave. My wife and I will be working remote up here and we don't want all the stuff from downstairs coming upstairs. My solution was to lay a zip sheathing layer on top of the plywood floor. This helped stiffen up the floor and with the zip tape it will keep out most of the vapors.
The carpet will be installed over this sealed floor tomorrow. This is one of the few pieces of the project where I hired someone to do the work. I am exhausted with this project and life and didn't feel like learning how to lay carpet and buy all the tools.
