Wow! Just wow! That's so beautiful and so cool, I love feldspar! That's one of the most amazing finds I've ever seen in my life. Amazing and you and Jeff found them and have touched them. That's so cool. I'm so glad you videoed this amazing site. Thanks for sharing. I hope you and Jeff has a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😺🐟 out!
Super cool jumbo crystals. It may be nice to come back for more pictures after the rain has washed some of the residual dirt off what you exposed. Or even lug some water buckets up there if it's not too far from your car. I hope greedy people won't destroy it.
Thanks for posting this video of your find. It's always nice to see nice things in situ and I'm glad your looking for the stuff that has already come out on it's own keeping the in situ stuff as you found it. for others that might come upon to site to enjoy seeing too. And you two are looking well. And no bug out yet LOL.
My gosh mate. What a wonder to behold. I so so respect your respect for the feldspar crystals, and setting such an example for rockhounds and mineral collectors to enjoy in situe. You continue to relate the respect I always admired.
I saw a photo of this site a few years ago. I believe it should be a Protected Site (ie. No Collecting) because of the size and significance of these Feldspar Crystals. You don't see examples like this just anywhere. It would be nice for everyone to be able to see this occurrence while maybe having a nearby collection site as you have subconsciously chosen. But this needs to be protected for all to see IMO. It's only a matter of time before some A-Hole comes along and busts out some of those larger specimens.
Very happy to see a video Caver and wow, I'm in the Muskoka area with my fiancé on a reservation there's lots of what I think are calcite depressions with trees growing in straight lines but I'm from Texas and we don't have these great rock formations along the gulf of Mexico
Hi, how are you, nice to see another of your videos pop up. They look like some amazing crystals in that fissure, not only large but their look so well formed. Good to also see Geoff out there with you. I don’t know if we have any areas with that level of mineralization on the surface, I would be stoked if we had an area like yours that was accessible. Hope to get a peek of those you found once they are cleaned. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Thank you for your knowledge. I'm just getting into rock hounding. I live in Kitchener and have just been exploring the banks of the grand river. You have helped me with your exploring of our great province and where to navigate. Is there a platform for discussion?
Is there a publicly accessible spot around Perth/Smiths Falls that would have some easy finds for an absolute newbie? I just moved to Smiths Falls from PEI. Went and looked at a rock cut on Hwy 15 yesterday but only one rock really stood out to me. Not knowing the area I don't really know which of the places on MinDat you can just walk on to and which you can't. The old mine just SW of town is fenced now and has a civic number, so I didn't wanna set foot there.
Hi there ! I’m from Welland Ontario . I’m very new to rockhounding but have found some interesting things I was wondering if you could help me identify .
I'm from the Gatineau region and I've been looking into joining groups for some rockhounding trips (I don't want to go alone). Do you know of any groups from Gatineau/Ottawa?
I've got a private question to ask about a lost ancient cave I'm trying to find. And I have some questions about reading lidar mapping to find it. How can I talk to you about this?
I am in Montreal, interested in prospecting together! Can offer transportation and some unique prospecting equipment, high quality filming and audio equipment, big truck and small fuel efficient vehicle with 1500km range!
in my experience try to find even the smallest fissures at a distance and you might get lucky and find the smokkiees often associated with feldspar and calcite,,,I guarantee there are smookees along the rift
Hey! Do you have an Instagram profile Facebook where u can contact you? I'm from haliburton and I have a site in my front yard that may be a long lost test mine, we've been trying to figure out what it is for years and noone seems to know. I thought maybe you might have some ideas or be interested in looking and making a video!
Hope you are well...no news from you in a long time ...hope all is good with you and yours.
Awesome finds thanks for sharing . Keep them coming we have missed you .
Holy mackerel, those are enormous! That is crystal heaven right there. Thank you, gentlemen!

Hi, I am new to rockhounding and I was wondering if you know any good locations in eastern Ontario that have not been completely picked through?
I've got a private question to ask about a lost ancient cave I'm trying to find. And I have some questions about reading lidar mapping to find it. How can I talk to you about this?
Can u somehow release location sometimes that helps other rock hounders
I found something that I would love for your opinion on what it is!? Is there somewhere I could message you?
Any of it have that pinfire/confetti in it? Last time I saw feldspar that big it did have confetti. Nice stuff!
Awesome crystals, is this a re-upload?? I remember this before. What on earth is a Canadian football? 🤣😂
hey mic would you wanna hound togeather sometime if you around the west ontario boarder
If they aren't gem grade, just leave them be in their natural state right where they formed. That's the way I see it
Love your videos come bond lake in Richmond hill and tell me why I keep finding Blue crystals white crystals orange crystals pink and black
I am in Montreal, interested in prospecting together! Can offer transportation and some unique prospecting equipment, high quality filming and audio equipment, big truck and small fuel efficient vehicle with 1500km range!
Do you have contact information? Would love to discuss some things with you!

In my experience the calcite vein dykes of Ontario rarely have quartz crystals. If it was a pegmatite of sorts possibly.
