It took me years to realize this and its so true. I've noticed that all my bad luck comes from my surroundings, establishments and who I surround myself with. Being semi good looking, in shape, having a nice car and a nice house is all enough to attract the evil eye. People will envy and get jealous for what they wish they had. Its not my fault I worked hard for everything I have today and I take care of myself but someone somewhere will envy that. I've definitely picked up on the patterns, like you said, sometimes its not even intentional but instinctively some people just envy you and it does indeed give you bad luck!!

I have had an experience with this Evil eye twice. I had one in my home right by our door. It never truly did anything that we noticed, we just let it there because we won it as a gift so we just left it there. One day, I woke up in the middle of the night and I had a sleep paralysis. I prayed to God without stop but it wouldn’t go away, but when I said “in Jesus’s name, leave at once!”, it stoped. Six days later, it happened again, the exact same way, except this time I when I woke up I heard the voice of God saying “protect yourself!”. After these 2 times, God showed me it was the amulet that was causing it, that it was allowing bad spirits inside my home and it was in no way a “protective” charm. I threw it away and all the paralysis episodes stopped. However I did remain skeptical and after some time I thought it was all in my head. So then, a couple of months later, the evil eye came back inside my house in earrings that one of my family members bought. Two days later, I woke up at 7 AM, the sun was out and my room was clear as day. I just lied in my bed, completely rested and calm, and said my morning prayer, asking for Jesus to protect me and my family and ordered all evil spirits to leave my house and my family alone, as usual. However, this time I suddenly heard a “NO”. I thought I was imagining things, then 10 seconds later, I lost all control and sense of my body and felt as if many hands were holding me down on my bed. I struggled to call for the name of Jesus, but when I did, it immediately stopped. I told my family member what happened and he/she agreed to throw it away. Never again I had sleep paralysis.
