I believe that even if you use mobility against Matias, he will use that to tire his opponents. Matias is very good at cutting the ring, making it small. Matias spars 36 rounds out in mexico and doesn't mind taking multiple rounds to trap his opponents. Matias is closer to 5"10 as Ergashev himself is 5"11. Matias has a 71" reach but has short compact punches that will make contact on Paro. Paro throws a 112 combo to get inside and goes to the body, following with double jabs to get out. Paro better not drop that jab hand. He's a good fighter and a hard test for Matias. Paro is ranked higher than Gar, Steve C., and Elvis R. Paro, no way hits harder than Ergashev or Ponce. He gets hit a lot with jabs and reacts hard. Matias has an underrated jab that will set up those power punches. Not to mention his athleticism in the ring with relentlessness. TKO in the 8/9 🥊🇵🇷💯🥊

Mathias is going to be extra energized by his home crowd and will probably bring more pressure than any of his other fights. I think Paro would have to do something drastic to hurt or humiliate Mathias in this fight to get Mathias to hesitate and doubt himself and also to take the crowd out of their expectations. 💯

Matias wins. Liam Paro is a technical fighter, and like most fighters, he needs to engage and then reset. This will pose an issue for Paro because Matias won't allow him to reset, as he will constantly pressure him, cutting off the ring with excellence, making Paro uncomfortable. After a few rounds of fatigue, punishment, and looking at the clock, he will speak Spanish and say... NO MAS!

Matias is going to break him late or early it's Paro's choice. If Paro engages it happens sooner if he runs it happens later. The southpaw is an interesting point, but Matias has power in both hands and trains with some very good southpaws in Panda's camp in Mexico (he has in fact beaten his fair share of Southpaws but this is probably the most skilled of them). The best path to beating Matias is to outpoint him and stay on the move for all 12, but you also need the power to keep him off. Intercepting counters when he tries to get into range behind his jab would be key, but Matias has a very educated lead hand and frankly insane cardio.
Paro is a good fighter but this is probably another RTD on Matias' record. I think Teofimo is the best challenge for Matias on the horizon considering their styles, though I favor Matias in that fight as well. Matias has a lot of X factors you really don't see in modern fighters that make him compelling, frankly I think he's special. Time is his main challenge now as it's hard for him to get the fights he needs to cement his legacy considering the amount of damage he puts on people and the unfortunate death of one of his opponents.

In the last 6 fight Matias had every fighter said they were in the shape of their life. One fighter died and the other fighters including southpaws quit on their stool. Some said they were going to out box Matias and other said they were going to KO Matias, but Matias showed them it was in their fantasy mind. The only way to beat Matias is to be stronger, a chin of steel and faster then Matias and like Matias box in and outside. I don't see that in other fighters . Matias wins by TKO or KO! FACT!

Paro's plan will be winning the first 3 rounds when Matias supposedly is not as active, and then lots of clinching and jabbing to win some other rounds. He'll clinch as much as possible to avoid getting bombs, pretty much like Clinchinson did against Lemos. He'll also try what he did to Montana. If he can keep the jab going non-stop for all 12 rounds and manages to hug Matias in every round, he might pull it off. Matias will come like a bull, full force and with very bad intentions. He might start getting busy earlier than in other fights, may be even in the second round. He'll miss at first but eventually will connect in the middle rounds.
