Thank you guys for all the comments we appreciate all the insight and support. Won’t be using that rubber piece for awhile as the wheelie bar helps keep the truck down.
I knew it! I had a feeling it was going to be the xmaxx just by seeing the amount of votes from the poll. I am going to be getting one soon as well and that black piece is for if you want to take the wheelie bar off it just fills in the space down below
Had a summit over 1500 into it and 3 vxl summits. They went their directions and I had seen a Snap On Black XMAXX for 600 used and jumped on it. No batteries only some old 1800 3s so got 2 smc 9500 cobalts.. batteries came in yesterday. Wish me luck..
From what I was told by my local hobby store the battery cables should go through slots on battery hold downs to not put into bind....I bought the same one 3 weeks ago also bought the solar flare 2 years ago....still have...having problems with my new one found missing screws and stopped running after 10 minutes ...grub screw on pinion keeps backing out...even with red lock tight tried blue 4 times keeps coming loose...to the gear set out of my solar flare with blue lock tight no issues so far after 2 runs....love them...
I filled the center diff with silicone ear plugs and it was a night and day difference, power delivery is absolutely nasty. Just gotta be a little more careful while landing under power etc.
Hell yeah brother!! The king of of bashers! Definitely get yourself a set of non-belted sledgehammer’s for ultimate air control 👍 I absolutely love mine. I’ve done the Talbot mods and it’s a tank!
Cool video. Definite size difference between the Maxx. What’s your thoughts between the XMaxx and the XRT? And what about the Ultimate version rather than the baseline. Thanks!
Great question, and thank you. as far as the Ultimate goes, the lighter you keep your basher the better. Too much aluminum may make it stronger, but weight is your enemy. The XRT is on my list to get, it’s more of an oversized stadium truck.
the unknown piece is a replacement part for the wheelie bar. You stick that piece in where you remove the wheelie bar and screw your bumper bar back into it. = Watch Kevin Talbot and his X Maxx video.
Cool video. Did you upgrade the servo on the sledge? I think you might have. That makes a huge difference in that vehicle. Before the servo change, the Sledge is kind of boring.
The belted tires are very controllable for the street and dirt, but I’m not a fan when it comes to jumping. You don’t have a whole lot of control in the air. Just purchased some Sledgehammer 8s rated tires.
Glad they finally have belted tires because I have been through hundreds of dollars of those crappy unbelted tires. It kind of ruined the truck for me.
That’s funny cause I’m removing the belted. There are 3 types of Sledgehammers: standard, 8s rated, and belted. I’m picking up the 8s rated mainly for bashing.
That’s very common, you can’t expect any hobby grade to come with a battery and charger. Some of the lower end RC’s come with a NiMh and a slow charger. My first car was the Stadium Blitzer in 1995, no battery no charger.

That’s awesome, you’ll love it. After going through the manual we found what it was for, definitely not taking the wheelie bar off

Sounds awesome!! Let us know how it goes
Congrats dudes! Really looking forward to your head-to-head with the Maxx and your long term review!
The rubber piece is replacement if you remove the wheelie bar!
Nice video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Love the X Maxx. I gotta Stampede VXL for now but everyone loves getting something new to play with and race.
These videos keep getting better. The quality ,the content, and editing. You are doing good things here.
Thank you, did you have a question? That last part I’m not sure what you meant.
@@redbanditracing no questions. I edited.
Heck yes!!! So cool!
Finally someone that uploads in 4k HDR. Earned a new sub. Love the Xmaxx it’s the only Traxxas I’ll eventually buy. Nice unboxing and bash. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you for the sub, all our videos are 4K. First bash went very well stay tuned next Saturday!
4k nice, hdr is yuck.
KNEW IT but I would have went with xrt bc of racing with xmaxx tires

Can’t wait for the versus!! 🔥 💪🏻
🔥🔥
That rubber piece that you didn’t know what it was that’s for if you take the wheelie bar off and like a bumper

Stupid question but any silicone ear plugs? I’ve looked and none of them say if they are 100% silicone.
@@redbanditracing I will look at the package once I get home, but they were the clear putty type ones I got them at CVS
Awesome unboxing video I love to watch anything Xmaxx that little rubber peace is to replace the wheelbar 👍👍
That's not a UDR 😢

They are on hold at the hobby store, 8s rated. Some upgrade videos on the way.
@@redbanditracingI can’t wait to see them. Subscribed 👍
Nice vid! The x-maxx is a must have!!!!!
Very nice 👍🏽👍🏽

@@redbanditracing Oh OK. Makes sense. Thank you.
@@flhandster4395 on my Rustler I went all out with aluminum. now I only have aluminum steering blocks...and rear stub axle carriers ?

We found it awhile back
Cool video. Did you upgrade the servo on the sledge? I think you might have. That makes a huge difference in that vehicle. Before the servo change, the Sledge is kind of boring.
We did upgrade the servo in the Sledge, I don’t think just the servo being slow makes it boring.
What do you think of the belted tires? Fan or not?
The belted tires are very controllable for the street and dirt, but I’m not a fan when it comes to jumping. You don’t have a whole lot of control in the air. Just purchased some Sledgehammer 8s rated tires.
I'm thinking about getting that over the ultimate
Good choice, I’d upgrade as you go

@@redbanditracing I have put brand new tires on the xmaxx not to last a single charge. The only ones that seem to last are the paddle tires
Paddle tires are gonna happen for sure
Saving up for one now. Idk is it really worth the money.. 💀
Definitely!
upgrade all the electrics, and diif oils, gears drive shafts diff housings
Why?
Do you have a discount code for traxxas?
No sorry
@@redbanditracing all good man. Thanks
$1100...no battery and no charger? Nope!

It's a truck. Not a car!
RC truck is a type of RC car, there are many different types of RC cars.
All RC types are RC Cars man
