@candyman magma cannon is stupid op. Not great for sieges because it has a straight shot and doesn't do a ton of damage to walls or towers, but it absolutely destroyed any infantry, and it's super accurate since it's only got one model. Regularly outperforms the dreadquake for me just because of how reliable it is. The dreadquake has a higher damage ceiling but it often misses and has a much slower rate of fire so most field battles the magma cannon is gonna do better.
Funnily enough, it's actually shit. Slow recharge rate, horrible aim, subpar damage. It looks impressive here but he probably recruited a ton to make it somewhat work, and we are not seeing the damage they inflict!

When i focus on artillery the ai gaina a sixth sense and zombies somehow manage to predict ballistic trajectories from behind the walls and dodge all my shots/spells. I need to blob them with a lord to have them atand still (or cast Gaze of Fate when i play tzeentch).
The regiment poisoned wind mortars for the skaven were a one unit only power house of anti infantry...lets make more of them available and stronger in every way.
They might be a chaos faction, but.. these are really pretty fireworks they brought to the empire. At least all those soldiers witnessed some cool looking special effects before getting exploded..!
That is absolutely horrifying. I feel like if your faction faced oof against that, your upkeep would skyrocket. You’d have to pay your soldiers an assload to make them want to face that

I had something similar not to long ago with my moulder campaign. I had a t3 settlement with a large garrison with no mage in the garrison. The Tsarina came along with a full stack army and attacked. I outnumbered her but since skaven garrisons are primarily tar pits with almost no killing power other than mages and towers. Since I was lacking a mage I instead relied on the towers. I pooled all my units in the center of the map and put explosive towers up. The enemies entered all four entry ways. Then just ran back and forth, allowing to towers to shoot them and won the fight. I got a heroic victory (lol). The AI is so shit in this game. It is still nice when a doom rocket wipes out the blob.
The deathshrieker artillery is actually way worse than the hellstorm rocket battery when used in the anti-infantry mode. Too inaccurate and unimpressive damage. The hellstorm rocket battery is inaccurate too but does way more damage. The deathshrieker is only worth using in the anti-large mode.

Holy shit is that artillery bad. Did CA never tested it before or something? It barely hits and when it does it only scratches them. It tends to do a lot of friendly fire damage. Can't even be used as a proper siege artillery as the damage against structures is pathetic. Only use is has is against (large) single entity units. First thing you do as Zhatan is disbanding it. Just don't bother and get the magma cannon instead.
So the Chorfs are actually Covenant? Because holy hell that gentle curve of bright-glowing death reminds me of the way Wraith artillery barrages are described in the books and appear in the games.
5 units of Fireglaives, 3 K'dai Destroyers, 6 K'dai Fireborn, 5 Dreadquake/Skullcrackers, and a Hashut Lord. I have yet to lose a single army with that setup.

So many still think they are weak because of some comments made in the beta but they were slightly touched up before release, and those complaints were always exaggerated anyways. At this point they regularily outperform magma cannons cor me, which they should being a tier higher.
I switched the deathshriek rockets to single fire, and i destroyed an enemy chaos cannon. Didn't kill the unit, just straight up destroyed the cannon. Was dope.

It's their only anti-SE artillery with its single-rocket fire. The spread-fire isn't great because it's a backup.
