    This video is so spot on, even for SN. This is what I try to explain everyone about why having space between the fabric and your body is critical as a natural (particularly SN can look like a burrito if something too tight) narrow and slightly loose makes me look so much better.

      True! I'm a natural and very lean, yet when I put something tight on, I look...big. I guess that's the best word to describe it, I don't look fat in particular but I look into mirror and I feel like Fiona, like something is not quite right. Wish someone would tell me this few years ago!

    Can't wait! Would love if you one day talk about "gaminish soft naturals" that Kibbe has talked about. This definitely applies to me in a way. I have to honor my width but soft natural styling without small patterns, colors and very intentional separates looks matronly on me. Perhaps it looks different on others. Anyone else??

    • @di3486
      @di3486 Рік тому

      Hmmm, you mean short soft naturals? I think people would think at first I am gamine but I am not (just because I am short and high waisted) I am not petite even though I am short, SN is the best line I have found for myself.

      @@missj794 If you don't mind:
      SD is quite tall w sharp angles (joints) and long bones, with elongated arms and legs. Fingers/ hands are usually slim and elongated. She will still be elongated when she puts on weight, and may put on upper body weight. (Nes Kim channel has some beautiful advice for SD's').
      Naturals have broader bones and blunt angles. Hands are broader, shoulders/ribcage quite wide in underlying structure.
      R is supposed to be quite short, narrow shoulders, have small/short hands and feel, small ankles and wrists, and double curve ( you may have a waist), and look quite delicate even when they put on weight because of an underlying, delicate skeletal system with tiny ankles and wrists.
      Maybe you can see some of your bones, as shoulders, ankles, elbows, toes and fingers? That could help you type yourself.
      I struggled typing myself because I'm not 100% like any description, but found out by narrowing it down like you did, and discovering what lines, hair and makeup recommendations suit me the best.
