On a sidenote: When the Holy Prophet Muhammad(saw) entered Makkah he did not force anyone to accept Islam. The people of the Hawazin and the Thaqif knew this. They were long-standing enemies of Meccans and of the Muslims. They united to attack the Muslims. The Muslims had to defend themselves.
