    Does the rope coming over the top in the front cause it to push down when weight is in it? Cause with the holes midway in the front the rope is usually coming out of it to help pick up the front, not going over the top.

      I just drilled holes that allow the rope to encircle the sled to reduce the strain on the front lip.

    Hi there!!! I was looking into buying this sled but i wanted to know, how has the quality of the sled itself held up so far?? Have you used it over ruff terrain?? Any cracks or broken parts of the sled yet??

    • @RedDogBushCraft
      @RedDogBushCraft  6 років тому

      No problems. I do try to keep it off the rocks, some scratches from rocks but not detrimental.

      RedDogBushCraft I saw your video on these modifications, I did the same modification to my jet sled. I used the sled to drag a heavy buck out of the woods . It was the easiest drag I've ever made. I also took a one inch diameter wooden dowel and ran the rope through it. I put the dowel across my chest and held it with both hands as i pulled the sled. Thanks you saved me a from a lot of soreness the next day.

    I just bought a jet sled xl and was wondering how I was going to do this. Thanks for the info.
