At the moment, at slams, absolutely not. If anyone thinks anyone else has a shot at stopping Novak at Wimbledon, that is just a downright dumb thought at this particular moment in time. No one has what it takes to compete with him on grass right now. Not just that, Djokovic's mental abilities at majors lately has been off the charts amazing. Unequalled, and its taken some MONUMENTAL efforts to stop him at slams, often combined with some outside circumstances, some not necessarily in Novak's control. But the vast majority of the time Novak keeps finding a way. Since the 2018 clay season comeback where he was rediscovering his mojo, these are his slam losses. Note: none came at Wimbledon. 2 MP down to an 8 time former champion? No problem. 2 sets down to a very talented youngster? No problem for Novak. The slam losses since clay 2018: French Open 2018 QF vs Cecchinato. Djokovic was not quite back at his best just yet but he was well on his way. Cecchinato played UNQUESTIONABLY the best match of his LIFE. 2 months later Novak would have won that in 3 or 4 sets. French Open 2019 SF vs Thiem. Domi was at his absolute peak in 2017-20, and had beat all the big 3 on hard and clay. And this match had wild winds and multiple rain interruptions and had to be played across 2 days. Domi went on to beat Rafa at AO 2020 too. US open 2019 4R: Yes Novak's shoulder was not 100% but even before this match Stan had won 3 of the last 4 slam matches vs Novak and the one he lost went 5 sets. Stan was the only non big 3 guy who truly knew how to compete with (and beat) Novak in the best of 5 format. He was outplaying Novak before the shoulder injury flared up. US open 2020 4R: the default. 2 or 3 inches to the right or left, and he is fine. Officials made the right decision, but that was horrible horrible luck. No one played anywhere close to well enough to beat Novak at USO 2020, that title was his had he not been defaulted. French open 2020 Final: Nadal on clay. Nothing more needs to be said. US open 2021 Final vs Medvedev: Medvedev's career best match so far. Nole was stopped 1 match short of the calendar slam. Dropped sets in every match in the tournament leading up to that (besides R2), he was going for the calendar slam and the total slam count record. Was the Olympic disappointment still hanging in the back of his mind as Djokovic fell further down in the score? All those circumstances came together in 1 match, not to mention, as already mentioned, Medvedev played the match of his life. Tons of circumstances contributed to that loss. And Djokovic has a losing record in USO finals, he hasnt always been able to find a way like he can at AO and Wimbledon (save for Murray's historic moment and career best match in 2013 but still a 7-1 W-L in Wimbledon finals is insane). French open 2022 QF vs Rafa: Nadal at FO....not much to be said.
@@mishkosimonovski23 Things are a little different this year compared to 2021. In 2021 Djokovic was coming off Olympic disappointment from just a year prior in what I believe to be the most shocking choke/collapse of his career since 2011. Djokovic losing 10 out of 11 games after going up a set and a break is something that just does not happen. That loss (losing out on what he thought at the time may have been his last realistic shot at Olympic gold) might have been hanging in the back of his mind. We won't know for sure but it may have been a factor. Also Djokovic was never that close to completing the calendar slam, having never won the first 3 slams of the year before 2021. Now that he has been in that position before, if he is in it again he will know how to better prepare. At the time he was also going for the all time slam record (big 3 tied at 20 a piece at that time), which put additional pressure on Novak. It did not help losing sets in every match (except R2), the physical toll it took on his body that tournament but also a gruelling several months that came before. Winning AO on an abdominal tear, winning FO with 2 comebacks from 2 sets down plus a very mentally and physically taxing 4h epic vs Rafa, then the mental toll of the Olympics. It all came together in 1 match and that turned out to be just beyond Novaks limit. Medvedev played the match of his life though, he had to because Novak has won plenty of matches playing as poor as (if not worse than) he did in that US open final. This time he has the slam record, so the pressure of getting to that record is off his shoulders. No Olympic pressure either, so no mental hangover from an Olympic loss going into the US open. And a less mentally/physically taxing FO. No 5 setters and no Nadal. And having been in that situation before, 1 match from calendar slam, he will know how to prepare better.
Nice vid... ...Djokov1c is my 🐐! 👍 Holistically - i.e. statistically, economically, physically, technically, tactically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually - Djokovic is 🥇! However, popularly, that's another question. Such is life, but I think Djokovic only needs to keep being credible and historically, Djokovic will be seen as the 🐐 too. That's until the next superhero comes along! 👍🦸♂️🤩 🤞for Wimbledon #8! 🍨
It's optimistic to say he will have 2 more Australian or French Opens or even Wimbledon. At 36 he could fall off at any moment or one of the young guys could turn into something unbeatable like 2003 Federer. Every year will be more difficult. I hope he keeps winning but it needs to be one at a time.

No one achieves what he achieves and is achieved. unbelievable that he can not only keep up with the younger competition but dominates. A marvel of an athlete, if not the greatest in the sport. Who would have ever thought that he would surpass Roger and Nadal and break all records. In addition, a very, very intelligent man who always treated his opponents with respect and praised them. In contrast to Roger and Nadal, he also said goodbye with a smile when he lost at the net, which the two never did. He's superior in every way, both as a player and as a person. A strong character, which, by the way, also makes a good Serb.

@@stefanvasilache5252 Hewitt and Safin were totally inconsistent and Roddick? did you just mention Roddick? 😂😂😂. Agasi? you mean a retiring Agasi?😂😂😂. Also, use your brain a little. Nadal could only win French Open when he was starting his career. He was only really great on Clay from 2003-2007😂😂. He could not win any other slams at that time. At least Djokovic collected 16 of his Grand slams until 2019 facing Prime Murray, Prime Wawrinka (that's 6 GS combined), Federer himself, and Nadal who can already play in all surfaces and not only clay like what Federer faced from 2003-2007😂😂 . Also, Djokovic and Nadal is almost the same age, so it means Djokovic collecting all his GS consistenly facing Nadal because they are around the same age, while in Fed's case, 12 of his GS from 2003-2007, there was no Prime Murray, prime wawrinka, prime Djokovic, and Prime nadal😂😂😂. The hardest competition in Tennis was between 2011-2019 and Djokovic collected 16 of his GS during that period.😂😂😂
Novak is definitely the GOAT, or at least the greatest among the Big 3 (which is probably the same). There is no doubt about it. He can reach the 25 Grand Slams, but I am not sure he will do better. If he has 25 GS, who will be able to beat him ? It would take 4 more years to Nadal to get 26 GS, considering that the Spaniard can only win in Roland Garros from now on. When you consider Nadal's present health, it seems very unlikely to see him on a tennis court at the age of 41. So here's my question : with no opponent to dispute his place in History, what motivation will Djokovic still have ?
"ACTUALLY stop" ? 😂 So what's the difference between stopping and actually stopping ? police- " i pulled you over because you stopped at the stop sign but you didn't actually stop . "
How can we add Roger in the goat debate when he only won RG once!? I agree Novak needs more Rg and US opens but regardless he is the best player in the history!!!
I feel that if Carlitos is fully healthy and unhindered by cramps or other misadventures, he is one of only two players (the other being an in-form Medvedev) who can get in the way of Djoker. The 20-year-old seems to have turned a new page this year after returning from injuries in March. He played 8 different tournaments, made 5 finals (of which he won 4 -- would've won the one in Rio as well if he had not injured his hamstring during the match where he was a set and 3-0 up), and 2 semis (one of which was Roland Garros). One of his major hurdles was when it came to defending titles, but he did that spectacularly at Barcelona and Madrid this year. It was just the upset against Marozsan in Rome and the Roland Garros semi-final against Djoker where he faltered. He said it was due to nerves, and it was pretty clear that he was nowhere near his best in that match. What we do know is how Carlitos is a very fast learner, and he has overcome almost every major obstacle that has come his way over the past couple of years. Let's not forget that he beat both Nadal and Djoker at Madrid last year back-to-back before winning the title, and he was the one who ended Medvedev's 19-match win streak at the Indian Wells final decisively earlier this year. So he is certainly capable of devastating the best of the best. All I can say is that if he faces Djoker again when he's healthy, I wouldn't dare bet against him. This kid is special, and I don't think we've ever seen anything quite like him before.
Beating Novak in the best 5 is an entirely different challenge than beating him in the best of 3. Alcaraz has 0 (read zero) chance of beating Novak at Wimbledon this year.
The injuries are known to come from functioning and playing at your 100% (or more...)for a long time.. they are not a result from bad luck but from tiredness..
@@voycodin5042 I don't know about Wimbledon because Carlitos has very little experience on grass (although I do think he'll go deeper this season than he did the last), but the US Open is a whole different ball game. Beating Alcaraz on a hard court in a best-of-five match this year isn't going to be easy for anyone (including Djoker).
I agree that Carlitos is the one who can beat Novak in a slam. Let's not forget he was going toe-to-toe and 1 set all against a fully motivated Novak 100% at his best. IF he doesn't cramp up again, I see no reason why he can't win.
5:11 Nadal was 36 years and 2 days old not 20 days old. Easy calculation. His birthday is 3rd June. He won the 2022 Roland Garros on 5th June. After becoming 36 years and only 2 days old.
Novak is GOAT. Fedal fans will take time to digest. There will always be some perspectives to show Fedal are better than him. Novak knows this and hence he will ensure to win at least 3-4 more grand slams that Fedal. The whole debate will stop thereafter. At the end of the day, records speak it volume.
I don’t think Novak will break Connor’s record, nor is he focused on that record per se. He said his priority is slams. If he wants to break that record, he could simply enlist himself in 250 and 500

It's actually fairly remarkable what he had to do, to become loved by the public. Which is not quite the case... yet. He will be though, when he retires, he will be the most loved and remembered for decades to come. Rafa and Roger will be footnotes by that time
Im a Serbian and Nole is, of course, the best for us, but young Alcaraz is showing he can stop him, he is amazing, i do hope Novak breaks more records, but Alcaraz is the the future of tennis...
His name is Carlos Alcaraz 🤣🤣🤣 Even Novak himself mentioned it during his press conference following the Wimbledon final - he's never played anyone like young Carlos.
The only one who can win more slams for the next decade or two is Nadal because obviously fed is retired but that seems unlikely because of his injuries and the fact that he’s older… plus that Novak is going ridiculously strong right now.

We also thought he will take the Calendar Slam couple years ago, then he lost to Daniil on US Open. But he is still the best in the world.
Australian & US Open 2022? 🤔
Australian open's possible but Us open yeah not sure about that one
What a good reportage . You see it completely correctly. Congratulations. I will subscribe to your channel.
Nice vid...
...Djokov1c is my 🐐! 👍
Holistically - i.e. statistically, economically, physically, technically, tactically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually - Djokovic is 🥇!
However, popularly, that's another question.
Such is life, but I think Djokovic only needs to keep being credible and historically, Djokovic will be seen as the 🐐 too. That's until the next superhero comes along! 👍🦸♂️🤩
🤞for Wimbledon #8!
Love you channel Man!Keep on!✌️✊️👊
Novak Đoković, The Greatest tennis player who ever played the game 🐐🐐🐐👑👑👑♥️♥️♥️💪💪💪🤡🤡🤡🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
A movie about Novak Djokovic will be made in the future! Mark my words, guys!
The Kings of Kings Master of Masters, Imperator, Gladiator, Rocky Balboa of 🎾 spiderman a Man with ❤Djoker is a legend.
He gave a piece of advice that the sky is the limit and the world is your oysters for the young players
No one can stop him. Only his retirement will allow others to win any tournament
Because he has bad opponents. Simple as that
@@stefanvasilache5252 exactly. The media try to hype up any rivals. Alcaraz is a joke. No way near Djokovic
@@stefanvasilache5252 well same thing in 2003-2007, Federer collected his 12 grandslams with joke opponents. 😂😂
@@ggwp23295 Roddick, Safin, Nadal (already had 3 rg in 2007), Hewitt, agassi, were joke opponents? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 i guess tsitsipas and medvedev are as good as Federer in your brain. 😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on this phenomenal video 👌🏻
"ACTUALLY stop" ? 😂
So what's the difference between stopping and actually stopping ?
police- " i pulled you over because you stopped at the stop sign but you didn't actually stop . "
How can we add Roger in the goat debate when he only won RG once!?
I agree Novak needs more Rg and US opens but regardless he is the best player in the history!!!
Yes
Nice work 🤝🙌👏 Novak ❤️🔥🐐
Yes of course no debate about that
anyone know this hoodie brand? 8:22
Ty in advance!
He is the GOAT
If Novak can get to 10 webys that'll be some legendary stuff!!!!!
Great video
Carlos actually has stopped Novak.
德约你永远是最棒的
This kid is special, and I don't think we've ever seen anything quite like him before.
another novak hater 😅 he has no chance against novak in wimbledon
I didn't know he was 36. He's still playing like he's in his 20s. If basketball has LeBron for great longevity, tennis has Djokovic.
5:11 Nadal was 36 years and 2 days old not 20 days old. Easy calculation. His birthday is 3rd June. He won the 2022 Roland Garros on 5th June. After becoming 36 years and only 2 days old.
Nice video that sums up how good Novak is. By the way I think I heard a voice similar to yours in an ad Go Daddy? Was it you?
I don't think he can win 30 slams (I hope I'm wrong) but 27 is a realistic number
If he wants to break that record, he could simply enlist himself in 250 and 500
It was never a douft for like 2 years that novak is the statistical goat. It will forever be in doubt if he is the goat for people that also consider what he brings to the world important (legacy beauty influence).
I think he will win 2 more GS, although I'd like him to win more, like 4 or 5!
Bruh he's winning atleast 3 more, this and next wimby and next ao,at Max he can win 5-7 more
Alcaraz is the only one who can stop him... if he doesn't cramp up again.
😂😂😂 You are really😅😂
24Ga and counting,7 years number 1 at the end of the year and counting, 392 weeks like number 1 and counting, only man to win all 9 Masters title, he did twice, the highest Atp points ever 16950, the highest peak in tennis ever, the best season in tennis ever, H2H positive against his biggest rivals...etc etc... list with no ending!!! GOAT 🐐,Novak Đoković 🇷🇸
Novak Goat. ATP us open aussie open indian wells will all try & stop him. They tried to make Alcaraz who would never have become #1 without Novak being not allowed to play. There is big corruption behind the scenes. Love Novak!! Love tennis!!
no one can stop Novak
Novak will still win 5 more slams for sure.........
Can you make a video about Holger Rune and Carlos Alcaraz, being the next big 2?
Alcaraz is with a Z at the end, not an F lol
NO. And why would YOU want to stop him
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
it was just the tiebreaks, even against fokina and fucsovics if he loses the tiebreaks it's a whole different match
WHY Novak SHALL be stopped??? Why something beautiful SHALL BE DESTROYED???
It's actually fairly remarkable what he had to do, to become loved by the public. Which is not quite the case... yet. He will be though, when he retires, he will be the most loved and remembered for decades to come. Rafa and Roger will be footnotes by that time
Im a Serbian and Nole is, of course, the best for us, but young Alcaraz is showing he can stop him, he is amazing, i do hope Novak breaks more records, but Alcaraz is the the future of tennis...
Carlos Alcaraz, increible jugador y muy joven ,claro que lo parara
Respeto. No jab .. wish I hadn’t
His name is Carlos Alcaraz 🤣🤣🤣
Even Novak himself mentioned it during his press conference following the Wimbledon final - he's never played anyone like young Carlos.
The only one who can win more slams for the next decade or two is Nadal because obviously fed is retired but that seems unlikely because of his injuries and the fact that he’s older… plus that Novak is going ridiculously strong right now.
The ultimate GOAT!!!
4:26 Just listen to this ridiculous stuff. His mental strength will never be matched in any sports
Nole Slam
For my money, the greatest sportsperson of all time
0 unforced error in tiebreaks, that's Nole
No1e is way beyond 400 weeks because they stopped HIM but boy oh boy he backed up like no one ever,it's not gonna happen again so enjoy in this Serbian magic while you can❤️🇷🇸🏴☠️🐺
Tennis 🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾👍👍👍👍👍✅✅Goat 🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏 who ❓❓❓ N💜 v❤️ a💜 k 🐐🐐🐐💯✅
He will win Australian Open until he is 40. And I think he can easily win 30 Grand Slams. It is a matter of whether he still remains hungry.
Federer burning 🥵 from jelaous for two days! He still cannot accept that he's not even second, after The GOAT Novak, so he needed two days to congratulate him!!! Just another sign how fake sportsman he is!!! And always was!!! Just look at all his hand shake 🤝 after matches, everything is crystal 🔮 clear!!! Novak always give him respect, like to every other player after match, win or lose! Novak was always better man!
His slam win count would have crossed 25 already, if they had allowed him to play the matches in last 2 years.
G.O.A.T 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
King of the Melbourne park is back🎉
Age is undefeated. I know people don't see the end for him yet but maybe next year he doesn't make a single Slam final? You never know.
