It was great seeing the guys in Annapolis on Sunday! In a show full of Oysters, Hylas, Amel, Catana, Gunboat...The Seaward 46RK was the ABSOLUTE BEST BOAT THERE...HANDS DOWN!!! Nick...I heard Southerly and Shannon both went belly up...Looks like your the only game in town! Dont follow their lead!
What an awesome vessel!!!! I want one!!!!!!!!!! Currently own a older Endeavour '32 and if I ever have the opportunity and funds, no question I'd be buying this boat!!
Love the boat but where do I put the dinghy? Can one remake 1 of the aft cabins to a dinghy garage? Did anyone circumnavigation in this boat? Where is the washing machine? Dishwasher? Water maker? Genset?
Such a great looking boat. Possibly, my dream yacht. I really admire the retracting keel and I love the choices made for the living spaces below. I'm curious if it can be piloted from the Captain's chair in the pilot house, just using the chartplotter repeater to control the auto-pilot?
When you lay up the hull, do you do it in a one piece mold or do you lay it up in two half molds and then tab down the middle? How creative can a perspective owner get when designing the interior?
Congratulations on a beautiful boat. I like that the beam is narrow enough to motor through European canals and locks. My only *wish/suggestion* would be a modern European interior design, but that's just aesthetics. I like the Hunter 45 because it has a full size Jacuzzi tub under the master bed. When you're cold to the bone nothing is better than a hot bath. Alas, the Hunter does not have a retractable keel. So no shallows for her. :(
GREAT DESIGN !....and this is a compliment from a confirmed multihull guy Jimmy Buffett should have bought one of these rather than the monohull he is having built. Brian RunningTideYachts
How do you service the outboard side of the engine With out any access nice to have 2 engine I like to have 1 engine 1 small generator. Not two engine if you don't give it access all the way around how do you service them do you have to pull the engines out
I get that. I mean, I dislike the modern interiors more than anything... But there is retro and then there is goood retro. This isn't good. If it was up to me, every boat would look like a early 90's Najad or Swan from the inside. Again, not for everyone, but that is what I grew up with and anything else just doesn't look like a proper boat to me :) But about the modern stuff.. I can't really say it's all wrong, all I can say is that what french and italians do it horribly. But those two nations should be collectively banned from maritime design. A modern US boat would be interesting to see if they can just steer clear from the cheap plastic often found on US boats and cars.
By the way, I googled sirius.. German company? Or dutch? Nothing modern about those interiors. Quite the opposite. I actually like the interiors very much... The actual boats... not so much :)
***** Indeed. And I did find the newer sirius yachts too and would like to retract my previous statement. The 40 seems like an interesting design. Probably weighs more than an apartment complex, but the interior really does fit my dream boat category too..
Don't sell me a boat by offering two .... rolling travel backs ... all standard!!??? Ugly as hell, but with some interesting solutions (keel/rudders/twin engines)
Great tour of an amazing boat. Am still dreaming 10 years on...
Very interesting boat. With the interior style of IP that change my mind. Thanks for the video.

I love the Dual Engine design it so important to have back up on the open ocean.
Now lets see how much$$$$$$$$$
Manual 2-rudder system using 1 leg and 1 hand? How safe is that in bad weather? Why not electrical lifting system?

so island packet builds these now?
YES:) Its the UPGRADED VERSION of a IP!
@@michaelsmith9308 what's the current base price of this boat?
Love the hot shower on the dive platform and the girl stepping off into waist-deep water. I'd like to see a GPS track showing tacking angles upwind.
Cool boat but tacky interior
+Chicken Soup I would say the exterior is the worst problem, that thing just hurts the eyes. But yeah, cool technical concepts.
